Just got my Ambient 0 this past Friday, but haven’t printed out the manual yet, so I haven’t actually turned it on yet. I’m very intrigued by what I can make from all the various videos I’ve seen like yours.
@@SoulSearchingGaijin this will be my intro to doing ambient type stuff. I normally do industrial type music, so going from angry/dancey stuff to chill stuff is gonna be odd. Lol! Cheers!
@@AbominusRules I got real into ambient a few years back. I'm chillin with age and found it a lot of fun. Sound design and drones can be real good for the soul. Best of luck in your explorations!
beautiful piece of music, I like the voice layer, you really good with that, you should do a tutorial, I will be interested. Yeah I tend to use less and less stuff to make it easy and immediate too. I dont know if it is minimalism but I like it like that for now. How it is in Japan right now, they are all saying it is a big crisis but can you feel it in your daily life? Thanks for the music!
Thanks. People are freaking out about a big earthquake or now a big typhoon. Life goes on if it happens it happens no way to stop it. As for the choir sample I made it in the DAW and imported the sample into the 1010 blackbox. Once there I triggered it manually to play one time(it is about 32 measures long). I used a choir plugin that lets you choose the length of the notes and gives you a long list of latin words to choose from. You then map the different words to keys down low on your keyboard to switch between them and play your part a few octaves higher . It acts just like a piano but with a beautiful choir. I use it a lot as it sounds so nice.
Really beautiful.
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Keep doing you. Positive vibes your way thank you for sharing.
Thanks for thinking of me. I really needed it this week.
Long sounds, vowel sounds, drones all invested with a yearning for peace is the calling and in simplicity lies achievement. 🙏
Thank you for listening and the beautiful comment. I really felt this one deeply. Life has been tricky lately but music always heals.
@@SoulSearchingGaijinYou’re welcome Greg. Hope the “trickiness” passes soon. 🙏

I think you will like it. I wish it had more sounds but it is geared to do one thing very well. It is a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it.
