I think Bacardi 151 has been discontinued. I asked for it in a few stores back in 2019-2020 and they said it was discontinued. Still don't see it in any stores so it must be true. Fantastic drink as always! Love to see a good red channel video.
Wray is a Good OP…but wildly different type of OP to what’s called for in a lot of Tiki Cocktails. Using Wray instead of a Spanish Column Still is like put Chilli Sauce on Baked Beans instead of Tomato!
@@StevetheBarmanExtra true, but unfortunately, that's the only brand readily available on the shelf in PA state stores. Hamilton Demerera and Cockspur are available through special order.
I believe you're correct about it being discontinued. I would recommend trying Trader Vic's 151 proof rum it's delicious and best of all it's surprisingly inexpensive for such a high proof rum.
Please can you start listing the ingredients/recipe in the description/video? It's a nightmare having to scroll through and watch when you're in a rush
They weren't when i made the comment as ive been searching on your recent videos but appreciate the update! Always love using your recipes@@StevetheBarmanExtra

They do not list it as a available rum on their website either so must have been discontinued.
@@powermonger9090 Wray & Nephew makes a good overproof rum.
