Gotta be the first time they're putting that 96mo, 23% financed boat in the water.
That ain't worth the money and will be junk before it's paid for
not a real boat. fatass jet ski
@@randaltotten9358that’s the point.
With a rental truck
What ??!! A guy who had to rent a truck doesn't know how to launch a boat ? Id never have guessed.
He travelled 10 feet and ran into 2 things, almost sunk his boat & really impressed his friends/family.
Need A Truck ?
Yelp you need someone who can drive also ! LoL 😂
From the start he could have pulled up fix the angle and be on his way so long as he connects two brain cells to remember the plug 😂 imagine all this struggling and making your life harder just to end up doing the very thing you should have done from the start.
That guy was just in too much of a hurry to get that thing running flat out across the water.@@dreammaker9642
Embarrassing, if I were that dense, I wouldn't try😂😂😂
@@johnpowell5181 I just think that , for the money he spent on the boat ( if it was actually his) he could have chartered a nice boat , let someone else drive & enjoy the water. ....like 3 or 4 Xs a year, for a decade, at least....
UHaul Rep: "What are you using the truck for?" "Moving a couch." "Great, sign here."
"To Freeport"😎
When a guy shows up to the boat ramp with a UHaul rental truck, it is time to quickly grab a chair and a cold beer...
...and get the coast guard on speed dial!
Seriously, there’s no way I’d be going out on the water with this guy!
Where’s your adventurous spirt? 😂
Water? I wouldn’t go on the road with this guy
@@johnglue1744It's called the sense of self preservation.
Did anyone notice how well she backed that trailer down?? Nice job!
This family is ready to make tons of memories at the boat dock
Three ring circus with no ringmaster 😂😂
I’d put that lady in charge 😂 none of them have clue what they are doing but she’s got the confidence to be proactive
Nothing beats the power and ingenuity of the Latin male from Miami who owns an F-150 with a salt life sticker.
It was a rental truck 😮
I'm sure those ladies were totally impressed. 😂😂😂
Nothing makes me more anxious than watching these people back up a trailer hahahaha
At that point, it’s just time to go home
I always kept my drain plug and wrench in the left side rear cup holder. Trained myself to put in the plug before removing the rear tie downs. Then put the wrench in the driverside front floorboard after parking the truck. That made me remember to pull the plug when pulling the boat out.
I clip mine to my boat keys with a carabineer. If it's still dangling when l crank the engine, l KNOW I f**ked up.
The drain plugs on a Seadoo are retained in their holes.
This is what I do too. Every time I undo the lower straps, I always check the drain plug
@@DonziGT230 still doesnt hurt to have a visual reminder of sorts to check em.
When im draining oil on a project vehicle of mine that may sit for a while, i got post it notes and tags wired to all sorts of stuff like the ignition, wheel, and even the fill cap. Saying "check drain plug ya dummy" (on the filler cap), and "check oil level before starting" all in bold sharpie taped to the wheel or wired across my ignition slot.
Notes and checklists go a very long way, costs as much as a pice of paper and a pencil, and may save you thousands in damages or salvage fees.
The girl looked like she was the one who knew what she was doing. The guys obviously had no clue. The other girl was like, “I know you don’t know what you’re doing and I am not going to get upset about it “.
Nothing a dude hates worse than a woman that knows the right way to do it
Her daddy taught her the right way but she is wise not to say that
@@arribaficationwineho32 her dad also taught her well in not revoking her man's man card in front of all her friends too. Just did it without a peep nice n smooth.
Now, THAT'S entertainment!
An entire episode of one boat crew. Ha!
His boating skills are as good as his backing skills,
I WOULD NEVER GET ABOARD ANY BOAT HE IS OPERATING.
Wants to pilot a boat but doesn't know how to drive a car.
I wanna see the return to the dock.
Ha ha this has got to be brand new boat owners and the first time out.
As soon as the u-haul showed up. it's show time!
If I had to have work that hard to launch a boat I'd sell it.
Now that's extreme boating.
The girl videoing them backing their rented boat with their rented truck like they’re a big deal 😂😂😂
Always two rules: Keep the boat in the water and keep the water out of the boat. 😁
I could swear when he first backed the boat into the water, I could see some bubble coming up in the back of the boat. I thought he forgot the plug.
I saw the same thing
The sign on that U-Haul window should say “Needs a pickup driver”
What caught my eye was the registration numbers on the transom. Is that something new? Is that boat part of a rental fleet that needs quick identification? Just wondering...
Love the comintary feel like I'm watching a boxing match
Never fails. I have been running PWC's since 1982. Always entertaining to go to the boat ramps, especially in the spring. Could write a solid book of all the crazy shit I have witnessed. Very typical is entire family gets ready for a day on the water. Get the boat off the trailer, into the water, tied up, trailer parked, everyone hops in with their inner tubes, skis, coolers, dad goes to START the engine, 100% DEAD BATTERY! LOLZ! Or on one occassion some idiot was test riding a Seadoo XP he was interested in buying and got into the water (also with no safety gear on). Took off at high speed away from the dock in a no-wake zone. Gets far away, turns around comes blazing back directly at the dock at full throttle. Starts getting close and drops the throttle. You can see him turning the handle bars left and right and the look on his face has he jumps off just before impacting the dock. It significantly destroyed the Seadoo. He is then screaming at the owner of the seadoo that the steering failed and its not his fault. Another time I saw some asshole get his boat down at the end of the ramp, then he proceeds to DUMP A TON of oil out the back directly into the water. Now I have oil film all over my seadoo, and if I had a hammer I probably would have used it on his boat to knock a couple large holes in it.
Like did he just straight up dump a jug of oil out or did it come hemmoraging out of the breather on the ramp because the engine or reservoir was overfilled?
Not sure what kinda sumps they got on the four strokes these days, last time i was on the water 2 strokes still reigned surpreme.
Some of the Uhauls have gps so the business know where their location is.😅
This place never disappoints.
The dude with the diesel backpack is WORTHLESS
They were all pretty worthless
Hes one of the few people ive seen hold a bow line from the dock without just letting it go at the first sign of tension or the stern drifting out lol.
Seen countless people holding a line and drop it in a panic when the bow or stern opposite of the line they're holding drifts away a bit.
has happened to every one of us at least once lol
The commentary is gold
Dam clown ownning boat
The narration is better than any sport announcer ever.
Those poor girls just want to go boating..
😂 I'd go home after seeing that mess. My confidence in the man is gone
Who else wanted to see him back the U-Haul truck down just a few more feet ?
And yes, dumb & dumber are alive & well.
You gotta pay your dues if you wana to sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy.
That happened to my dad once. The boat started filling up with water as he was backing it down the ramp. The water filling the boat made it heavier and my dad had trouble pulling the trailer back out of the water. Lesson learned
Gives Trailer Trash a whole new meaning.
What's the over/under on number of PFDs in that jet boat?
4.5 seems like an excellent starting line.
His buddy is just standing there doing nothing..
Sooo many untrained people on the water.
One line off the bow, because a boat will not twist in the water....but props for the fenders...
Uhaul guy! wow...
At some point you have to realize that pulling forward and starting over is the solution.
I have the 23-ft Sea-Doo and it can be really challenging when you first get it. The turning radius is so tight.
I remember my first time as well lol
3:00 people like this actually exist and manage to survive.
That dude needs to hand in his man card!
There once was a day when a man could take control of his vehicle.
Been there.
I have never been this early!
This reminds me of watching a foot ball game lol
Feel bad for the family menbers Bet they have no idea either
Nothing like a saltwater wash first day.
You can pay me now or you can pay me later. (Darwin speaking through Fram)
man don’t even know how to operate a boat and had to rent a truck 😂😂😂😂😂
The way some ppl back up a trailer so poorly you would think my sister taught them.
do your trial and error practice by yourself or with a friend multiple times, before you bring fam and friends to the dock.
I had a Challenger 180 (though with less challenging launches). It was a great boat. But y9ou have to remember that the reverse turns the "wrong" way.
Wow - tough day. The weak will make this their last day. The strong will hopefully learn and get better with time.
There is no way, I would ever go out in the water with that crew!!!!!!
Disaster waiting to happen!!
Lol😂@ drain plug mafia
I would call an Uber if I where them people and never get on that boat
A lot of the small truck rentals don’t include a trailer hitch.
I had this same boat a few years ago. Jet boats can be kind of squirrely. Always winched them on the boat trailer and pushed off from the dock before starting the engine otherwise things like this happen.
This one was really painful to watch. What a nice clean looking boat
Never seen someone take so many consecutive Ls 😂
Doods on loods shud not be allowed to drive!
The rental fee is 19.95 per day but how much is the total loss flood insurance?
Same people - always dumb and no sense. The girl around the 6:10 mark was really trying to push the trailer from keeping it going toward the dock....
He’s actually lucky it took so long to launch at the beginning, had he been quick I guarantee he would have sunk that boat within 20 mins out on the water.
Only ONE lifejacket? And he wants to put all these people in that little boat.
Culturally enriching
Just so we are clear, if they pull up in a rental truck, keep a safe distance.
Bloop, Bloop, Bloop.....Tiny bubbles
Bloop bloop
That was painful to watch!
You just swim around and put the drain plug in. Don't stress on getting the boat back out of the water.
Or d😊ive down inside your boat and put the train plug in.
Some people should not own boats....
First sign he's a clueless noob: Renting a pickup from U-Haul.
Second sign he's a clueless noob: Not understanding that when backing up a trailer, you turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction of where you want the trailer to go.
And third.... drain plug.
Most people come back in from a day drinking on the water and do better than this. It would have been worth waiting for them to return, if they did. I have a feeling that the odds are not in their favor.
So you gave em back
I mean...gotta get experience somehow.
To began with common sense backing is clearly out the window on this one, I'm a bit confused as to why they are using a rental truck to launch this boat, I can only come up with that the whole entire rig is rental? Perhaps the vehicle they use is in the shop? Else why would you purchase a boat without means to pull it with?
Leaving the drain plug out is pretty much a common thing, there was a time many years ago when I went through the boat owner phase at one time, I decided to just leave the drain plug in on the boat so that way I wouldn't forget to put in back in, well having it parked in my driveway with a cheap cover over it we have a good rain storm and it had filled my boat up with water as it sit on the trailer being it was an in/out board I had to replace the starter the following season, rusted and seized.
In his defense, jet boats don’t really have neutral 😂
When you have more money than sense....
Even more reason to be a separate license to operate a boat. This is the reason people get hurt by clueless people. Smh!
my little brother would be dude step back let me show you how to do it, he is used to driving an F450 and a very large boat and he does it all solo.
His registration numbers not displayed properly call fwc
He needs to watch that TH-cam video on how to back up a trailer
We were all beginners at some point in time.
Why any of his friends had not left after this abysmal attempt of launching a boat is beyond me. They must be on a suicide mission
Wow
My sympathy for anything Miami is ZERO😂😂😂😂
I'm not a ramp snob but cmon man
You can't make this shit up! OMG!!
Basic bros
Why do so many people fail to grasp that close to the dock is a good place for the trailer fender?
Not sure what you mean. I commonly back my boat up so the fender is parallel and about a foot off the dock. It allows me to launch/load without power and solo by simply using bow/stern lines. If you get wet, your doing something wrong...
