Wow what an eye opening competition especially thinking about what ended up happening at the Olympics. It is scary to remember how Simone got lost in the air on her elements and had to keep working to fix it until she got to the beam event final. I hope she does try to make a comeback :)

So frustrated by this. The obvious choice for the highest team score was for Suni to do bars & beam & Mykayla to do floor & vault with Grace as an alternate. The 2nd individual spot should have gone to Wong for bars.
I don't think Leanne would've been a good pick back then, she was too inconsistent, and she proved it by falling 3 times on beam during night 1. Kayla Dicello would've been a good pick for floor and vault because she consistently scores better than Grace and Suni on vault As much I appreciate Tom creating a more positive environment for the girls, he relied too much on Simone to bring in the big scores. It's a team event, not Simone and her backup dancers
My gawwwd, why? The cloak and dagger bullish is what led to all of the abuse, toxicity, starvation, interteam division, they were horrible. Anf the real kicker is, they never deserved all of the accolades they had heaped upon them. They were nothing more than master illusionists with awful intentions and dangerous results.

If I had to guess I would say Simone, Suni, Jordan and Mykayla then probably Leanne as the other specialist since this would have generated the highest scores possible
Looking back, I'm still frustrated that Makayla Skinner was robbed of her place on the actual 4 member team. I don't know what they were thinking!! And Simone just looked miserable at times. No one deserves to have that much pressure put on them.

Im so tired of announcers n media. You put unbelievable pressure on athletes, continually telling her she the goat, a machine. Simon clearly needed psychological help then. She doesn’t seem to want to compete anymore , she wasn’t focused and in gymnastic focus is everything. So her coaches n the committee’s knew she was off before the Olympics . Simon knew also but went anyway. Media comments take the joy out sports . Just shut up n let the athletes perform
I don’t care for her and new gymnastics but do feel like too much pressure on her. The goat to me isn’t Simone regardless. Although an amazing tumbler…No grace, always out of bounds, no polish, no artistry etc. I don’t understand why everyone think she’s the goat other than her tricks. I find her boring

However, I do agree with you in that she is not a balance gymnast like Andrade and Lee- they have difficulty that does not match Simones, but their artistry and execution make them more interesting to watch.
