So that's an 8.510 average off two passes? James looks like he's in the mix, but I know the 8.50 class is historically really, really tight. I believe there were 8 cars in the class yesterday below an 8.60.
That red vette was very good when they stuck to that class. It was only when they tried going faster and switched to methanol that it started eating up time and money. It is why it sat in the pole barn for months. They had leapt beyond 8.50 and didn't really want to go that slow anymore, but a lot of people wanted it back. That is why it is there this week instead of the coyote mustang.
They kill me over Ruby. It was like the third car in the fleet. The car always goes stright down the track no matter if it Cooper, James or even Deisel Dave driving it. Pretty much never breaks even though it has nothing but hand me down parts put together over a weekend. Imagine if she had some of the parts Leroy has. I would love to watch them give her a complete makeover. IMHO it wouldn't take much to make her a 6 second car.
Actually he ran 8.518 on another pass and his average is only .095 ahead of second place. With 3 days left it's far from over. Running even an 8.55 drops his average enough to lose.
The othe guy got an 8.500
I saw that! Tight pack this year!
He’s in a different class though not the 8.50 index
@@gabrielray8914 Were you talking about Jimmy or the other guy?
@@gabrielray8914 they're both 8.50 index classes. Sick Street Race and Street Race 275 both have an 8.50 index.
Ruby has always been an 8.50 bracket car lol

Second place ran 8.513 yesterday and third place ran 8.519. The 8.50 classes are the tightest classes in drag and drive.
It looks like Right lane got an 8.500 so it's gonna be tight!
@@trumbley22 Yeah the 8.50 class is always a wild class to watch. LOTS of cars all super close together in averages.
@@jhankins1126 Different class. There are two 8.50 classes.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get greedy.....
Gonna be hard to beat them. So far the average has to be 8.51. Easy math on that one lol

Brian Acton in the nova ran 8.50with 0 .
Yes he did. Lucky for James, Brian Acton is in a different class.
Doug just run an 8.500?!
That's what I saw as well
Brian Acton, but he's in a different class.
When your on your on

Think that’s Doug’s car from motion race works
Doug is in a different class though!
@@d.barclay1564 It's Brian Acton, not Doug. And he's in Sick Street Race where James is in Street Race 275.
