Hello Olav3D. I use a 2.79 version and I've tried to make this fluid tutorial. Everything went well except two things: why does fluid gets like not entirely inside the tube but I see spots and patches even though I did the smooth modifier and subsurf. And second, when completely rendered the view it starts again from the beginning.
My fluid isn't even going inside the tube, when I go to bake, the fluid is flowing outside the tube, and after a few frames, it just disappears altogether. please help
Very nice. I have a request. Will you make a tutorial explaining how to add particles to a fluid simulation? I have seen a few tutorials where add particles is part of it but they glossed over it so fast I couldn't tell what they did or why they did what they did. Keep in mind I understand most everything about the fluid domain but not about adding particles. Or if you know of or already have a tutorial, please let me know.

Hey, any chance you can make this exact same tutorial for 2.92 ? Can't get this to work and it's pretty frustrating :(
Made a new blender channel. You are a great inspiration
make this video in the blender 2.82 version sir.....there are lot of differences between the version
You can only increase the depth of the curve and the resolution and it will be the same as you make a circle and make the bevel of the curve to it
A m a z i n g! Thank you very much for simple explanation... :)
One little thing... it has to be a bezier circle, not a regular circle for the bevel to work
That`s right
yeh i got confused then figured it out
you save my day
Is this accurate enough for engineering application. Like will it predict flow inside network of pipes with reasonable accuracy?
....Bravo Olav!....very useful!...
Nice tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you for tutorial.

awesome thank you

thanks...i got the same result..:)

I tried to do a more complex one but the fluid kepps comming out from everywhere like its ignoring the tube pls help
Yes, more complex projects can be difficult for the fluid physics in Blender to handle sometimes, but it usually works.
My fluid isn't even going inside the tube, when I go to bake, the fluid is flowing outside the tube, and after a few frames, it just disappears altogether. please help
Can u pls tell me the circle option is not coming it's showing blank ....
Nice
awesome!!!

my fluid isn't inside the tube when I bake the simulation, the inflow is going sideways on the x axis, and not down into the tube. please help
Try increasing the resolution of the simulation. If that does not work I would start over, this tutorial still works. Hope that helps :)
OMG that is one beautiful red liquid animation.
Is this what would happen with real fluid in curved tube ?
Not really. Most simulation softwares consider just the fluid, not the air. In real life the air would be trapped inside the first curve.
pc specs ?
What is your specs
GTX970
Olav3D Tutorials I am using dual core processor with 1gb ram
And worst Intel g31 graphic card
my waters not moving
the fluid simulation is too slow and takes 1000 frames to get to the end of the tube
