- Join us as we visit Epcot at Walt Disney World for a day of exploring this beautiful theme park that opened in 1982. In this video we share on ride footage from all of our favourite attractions across Future World including Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Mission Space and many more.
After spending the morning in Future World where we also check out the construction of the new Guardians Of The Galaxy themed roller coaster, we then head to the magnificent World Showcase. Here we visit all of the different counties and also look around the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. We also share on ride footage from one of our favourite Disney dark rides, Frozen Ever After! To top off our day at Epcot we watch Illuminations: Reflections Of Earth, a night-time firework show that's set to end in summer 2019.

This is one of my TPW favourite vlogs. It captures the spirit of Disney. It is not all about big rides but the feel good factor Epcot gives. Anyone can go to Epcot and have a great time. I would be quite happy just sat anywhere in the showcase watching the world go by.

Couldn’t agree more with your statement on the current mindset from the Disney Company. The constant push for IP attractions is really sad to see, because Disney has shown is what they can do with an original story (Expedition Everest, Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth) and it’s brilliant. An original (non-ip) attraction is so cool and unique and leaves guest with the sense of “what will this ride be like”, rather than slapping a character on every ride’s entrance
I much prefer the non IP attractions but let's see what happens in the next few years and hopefully we'll see more original attractions open
Mystic Manor in Hong Kong may be the last great original attraction (hopefully not). Even Tokyo DisneySea is moving towards IP attractions (StormRider changed into Finding Nemo SeaRider)
ReyJusuf Yes Tokyo’s turn to IP’s almost makes me feel that all hope is lost for original attractions. Even Tokyo Disney Sea’s newest land will all be IP attractions...
Unfortunately that is what most theme parks are doing as a well known IP is easier to market and advertise, rather than an original theme! It's sad as original themes like the Bubbleworks and Toyland Tours are being forgotten in favour of an IP! It's sad but it is what works best for parks and their publicity!
What they should have done with G.O.G. is make it like The Indiana Jones ride with the immersive queue line, I'm sure that'll be something along those line haven't seen it yet to know what they're going to do, but if they really wanted a ride that could compete with the Indiana Jones, they'd have made a Spaceship car that takes you through out the whole building. Pretty much the exact same way Indiana Jones does, but space themed. Doesn't look bad, so.. we'll see what happens.

My favourite memory is standing outside the Norwegian restaurant and watching illuminations, and then waiting half an hour for the crowd to leave!!!🤣🤣🤣

I’ve never been to Walt Disney world but when I do I know my dads mum (my grandma) is looking down on me!! I was 10 when she passed away and I miss her everyday!! When I went to Disneyland Paris for the first time I cried when I saw the castle and when I went back this year with my mum,stepdad and brother we all cried together as a family both on our first day and when we saw the shows
Oh, and I loved Figment as well!!!!!! He is soooooo cute. I also love the Imagination song, it is so catchy.
That miniature railway in the German pavillon would probably be my favourite thing in Epcot if I go there someday.

I like that you guys do updated versions of these parks, a lot of walk-through channels only have them at certain years which is all good and fine, but it's nice knowing what's been changed, personally, I'd love to see more Disney/Universal stuff in the future. Keep up the good work, definitely a channel that's worth all the views and subscribers you've got.

Great vlog as usual, thank you! I love EPCOT and have been visiting there since the park opened in the 1980s. While there are some great attractions there now, it's a shame you didn't get to experience the Original Journey into Imagination (featuring Dreamfinder and Figment) as that attraction blows the current one out of the park. Also, Disney produced their greatest ever dark ride with Horizons (replaced by Mission Space), and that attraction is still missed today by a great many people who remember it. Looking forward to watching the rest of your blogs, they are really well done. Congrats!

Hi Shawn and Alex, I love Figment; it is a very happy ride with a fun catchy theme song. I love when you guys sing along with the Disney rides; it just makes me chuckle & then I sing along too. It will be an amazingly magical and romantic time just the two of you!!! Do you have reservations at Be Our Guest? do both lunch and dinner if you can; both dining experiences are so enchanting. At dinner a royal staff member calls you by name and welcomes you to the castle. It is truly a magical moment never to be forgotten :) You may have to check everyday on the dining webpage, because there is always cancellations and the effort is so worth it! make sure to try the Grey Stuff; it is such a yummy dessert :)

Not been to Disney world since 1994, a lot has change, and I love epcot, been loving the videos and kissimmee old town, stayed at the hotel across the street, these vlogs have brought back some good memories, keep up the good work 👍🏻

Omg im gonna miss illuminations at epcot, ive been going to florida since 1996, and ive not been since 2010, illuminations is so good, and im glad i have had the chance to see it so many times, you guys are awesome cant wait to see more :)

Another great vlog guys. Epcot is my favourite park. I love World Showcase particularly the Canadian pavilion. Ireally enjoy the flims although Impressions de France is now very dated. We spent many an hour when our children were smaller visiting the kid spots collecting stamps and colouring the mask on the sticks Im sure Alex must have done this in2006! Have to agree original test track was better and does anyone remember the song on living with the land?

I always forget how good Epcot is. Considering it doesn’t have a ‘coaster’ as such, there’s lots of variety and always something I’ve not seen before.
86Rikki Shame a lot of the old rides need an upgrade.
It does indeed have a great variety of attractions and we look forward to the new coaster opening in a few years
Haven't been to Epcot since 1997 can't wait to get back next year and see what's changed

Epcot is my fav Disney park I have ever visited. Absolutely adore the place. Kennedy Space Center n Epcot are my two fav places to visit in Florida.

Mission: Space is the worst ride at any Disney park, absolute sick bucket experience. Never felt so ill after coming off a ride in my life.
i first rode ellens universe of energy (one of my favorite rides) in 1996 when i was 5 years old almost 6 years last time i rode it was 2011 on my 21st birthday im sad to see its gone but looking forward to the future
my favorite part of epcot still however is the world showcase and always will be

I never found Mission Space to be intense really, although it's not great for people who don't like enclosed spaces.

Sorry to crush your hopes, but it has been announced that the new show replacing Illuminations WILL feature characters. That said with drones etc it should be spectacular!
The news is still not officially confirmed by Disney however I'm sure we'll know more about it soon

Ypu do know that this is the 3rd version of the Imagination attraction and in one version Figment wasn't even around? This one was done on the cheap as many recent Disney rides have been
We are indeed, the attraction has undergone so many changes over the years

I went to Orlando just to visit the Coca Cola store in Disney Springs and I got to try Beverly and it is absolutely terrible.
Ice 15 yep, when we went everyone was saying “Try Beverly!” And then watched their reaction 😂

my first visit for in 2006 too.
Just to say Figment is most likely not going anywhere for a while. I wont be surprised if they put a hightec updated version and bring back Dream Finder. Figment is Disneys best character that isnt an IP and makes load of money from the merch! Also when it went from the original version to Journey into your imagination people hated it and boycotted it because Figment wasnt in it.

I liked the old Viking ride over the Frozen ride to be honest. It reflected Norway a lot better then Frozen

@@ThemeParkWorldwide well I gone to fantasy Island in Skegness Drayton manor Blackpool pleasure beach before they put the gate on ride. Valhalla when it's was new Shockwave stormforce 10 ,states Europe to far for me
