- A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed "Dawn" and "Dusk". Today I'll be reviewing the "Dusk" pair, which is crafted using a black nubuck upper, with vintage detailing, and burgundy coloured accents. I received this pair pretty quickly and I’m in Mexico city. It took 3 weeks tops. My box was flawless and no scuffing. Guess I was lucky.

This pair took forever to come in opposed to Dawn pair. Both are staying in my collection and hopefully you are able to make a trade for your size. Great detailed review!
Love the Dusk pair! Had to wait 3 weeks to get and mine had a few scuffs too but not horrible. I’m a size 14 and they are much more narrow than any other 5 that I own (borderline tight). But wow the slimmed down ankle and tongue make them look like they were built for speed lol.

Mines took about 3-4 weeks to get delivered. My pair quality was great! I'm sorry to see your pair scuffed up.. My box was a little damaged but yours seemed pretty bad as well, I am just glad I finally got my pair in last wk, I have been hearing people not getting their pairs yet

Received my released pair of the Dawn’s pretty quick but when they re-released an opportunity to get the Dawn pair again on Black Friday it took a while to get that pair it delivered on Dec. 8th but it did say 5-15 days on the order but both boxes were damaged unfortunately but loved the Dawn pair better than the Dusk but eventually I’ll get them too but was upset they didn’t use the embroidery on the 2 3 on the dusk pair like the Dawn and that AMM tag on the air bubble wasn’t necessary to me but still a great pair

I try not to miss any 5 as long as it doesn’t have pink in the colorway. While I do prefer the Dawn these will be picked up after I get the Gortex 5
My pair also have scratches issue at front toe area, felt so sad when saw it.
Sean, big fan of the channel. I was told they used women’s tooling on the dawn pair which may change the fit of the sneaker slightly.
Totally agree that the Dawn pair is the better of the two. Kind of amazed that the Dusk is going for so much more.

Ah yes, the shoe that hurt so many. Shipping delays, canceled orders as well as relaunching the shoes online. This shoe along with the Dawn V’s had everyone in a complete frenzy online. Just glad I got my pair within the original shipping time frame.
They look good on foot but I’m with you I like the grey pair better
I am a true sz 12. These dusks fit me fine and the dawn sz 13.5 fits me fine as well. I love the dark tones for the dusk pair. It fights the theme very well. I respectfully disagree love the a ma Maniere text on the air bubble. It’s not for everyone debut I think it adds a little something extra to the sneaker. Love the content keep going.

Got mine on the 27th still haven’t worn them yet, clean shoe! I like them more than the Dawn ones, but I also wish the “23” “ the “Nike Air” would’ve been in burgundy.

I recieved both my pairs from AMM and the quality control are just trash. I had the same issue with my black pair as your review states.

Struck out on release but was able to trade for them
Love the Dawn . I got both pairs . One from A Ma and one from social status . A Ma pair came but the social status pair got stolen . They use FedEx who just leave your stuff sitting outside . Emailed them multiple times and when they finally answered like a month later they have nothing but excuses . Done with a Ma and st. Love the dusk but I’d prefer the dawn .

My Dawns just arrived 2 hours ago. Stylistically, Dawns look better. I think the Dusk colorway is just generally popular to guys just cause it's black and the maintenance factor comes in. but purely just of how the shoe looks, the dawns are way better.
And yeah, the box were semi-trashed when they came in. Thanks AMM!

The AMM on the air bubbles is a nice touch tho
my pair also came with a ton of white marks - has anyone found a way to prevent this? My friend told me that mink oil would essentially rehydrate them and prevent them from getting ashy, but i'm nervous to touch them with anything other than jason markk repel
also another thing i noticed - when i wear the shoe for the whole day, the "A" cage on the side gets some weird striping coloration that comes and goes whenever i take the shoe off, not sure if its from sweat and condensation or what, I thought i may have strained the plastic as it looked like that white color that plastic turns when u bend it, but shortly after taking the sneaker off they disappeared on their own

I went with the "Dawn's" They're the AMM that don't look like all previous AMM. They look like nothing the AJ5 has ever seen as far as colorway

I still havent’t received any updates on my order. I won a raffle pair. I have emailed social status about three times and no response. How long you think it should take ? Its been over a month.

Compared to the metallic 5s I just feel these lack contrast
I have both pairs 10.5M and for some reason the cream laces on the dusk pair are sooooo much longer than the dawns. Super annoying

that white a ma maniere on the air bubble is for me killer of this sneaker. loving the colorway, materials and details apart from that, but that ugly contrasting white font has no place on this pair imho
