I agree, printers are always a pain! Sometimes I want to jump on and print one quick label, nope that is the day the printer decided to not recognize my laptop and pretend like it has never printed anything...ever. I just wanted 1 quick label!

Try Avery for printing your things you need printed. You do all the design work online and save it online at Avery without charge.

Lovely packaging! I love using Lard in my soaps because it keeps the lard out of the land fill. Another reason is that it makes luxurious soap imo!

Thanks! I bought them on Amazon. Look up biodegradable cups. You can search condiment cups, soup cups, ice cream cups, etc.. Lots of options!

Looking great Holly. But different to what I was thinking about log cabin. Thinking round logs. You are so lucky to have a practical husband. What an amazing setting for a home. Cant wait to see the finished product just like your soaps. All best.
Thank you! The logs we are using are milled and kiln dried. Oddly enough, they came out of TN but unfortunately, we weren't able to find kiln-dried logs out here. The kiln-dried is so much better because the logs won't shrink, twist, and settle as much in the coming years. Plus, no chinking!

Ive Been trying to get my husband to agree with a Fresh start in Montana as well and I don't know much about nothing out west and was wondering where is a good mountain scenery region with plenty of acerage?? I'd love to build and plop a home right in the middle of 50-100 acres!!
Thanks so much! To get that kind of acreage (unless you're a gazillionaire) you're going to have to look at parts of the state with flat land and not forested areas. We're up in Flathead County but we had hoped to be in Lake County originally. If you have Indigenous blood, you might have good luck in Lake County. My husband recommends the channel called Living in Montana.

Love your pack and chat, never click so fast! The gibberish you’re getting from the print is a postscript issue but it sounds like the file is corrupted. Make sure your printer drive is up to date. Check the font as well - Try changing the font into a different one and print test it. Or try to export to PDF with embedded fonts then print.

Holly, don’t just push the cutter lever down. Push a little bit toward the platform of the cutter. That should fix the wonkiness.

Thank you Brenda! It will be about 1800 ft once the second story goes on. The second story will only be on half so the living room and kitchen will have 25 ft ceilings. We have a full storage basement below. We don't plan to finish it because it's only 6 foot clearance. But it's going to be awesome for storage.

Thank you Lyn! I appreciate that. It's been hard since 2022. I wasn't going to come back but I do need income of some sort and I'd rather make soap than work at McDonald's or something. But it is even slower than I expected.

I used to ship to the UK a lot. It is rather expensive. I don't ship there currently because I don't have the proper registration.

Honestly, despite the fact that y'all moved states theoretically a while ago, it really hasn't been THAT long all things considered. Building a house from scratch isn't exactly a quick process; especially since y'all have weather concerns, location/accessibility concerns (it's not like you live 5 blocks from the store and on flat ground that's free of obstructions), aren't working with a full crew or on a normal full-time work schedule, AND got your soap studio up and running first *shrug*
That's all very true. We just lost a week of working because the switch failed on that big log saw. Amazon takes a week to get here and it's almost impossible to get anything locally. So we have that in hand again and hopefully can get back to work!
