What was the cause of the engine failure?

I do not know, unfortunately... I purchased the bike in this condition and replaced the motor/trans as an assembly... I do think it is a hidden problem that strikes without warning, but not often enough to cause a lot of concern...

Did you get rid of vibrations in the engine?

Good day! I never did get rid of the vibration completely... However, I don't believe the vibration is a result of the engine itself... I think it is one of the accessories... Alternator or starter gear engagement...
