Axial SCX10 Carbon Fiber LCG Chassis (MEUS RACING RC / INJORA) (Belly Dragger part 1)

This Chassis feels and looks as a high quality product, offering plenty of options for your building project.
Features:
Material: this is made from carbon fiber having an ultra-lightweight (465g /16.4oz) compared with the traditional steel C rails chassis and the best part is that is as durable as the traditional option.
Machining: the machining is great, everything aligned perfectly and I will assume the it the laser cut
Assembly: put it together is extremely easy, making it a really good option for beginners and experts alike
Shocks and link mounts: the frame gives you 8 different positions for the front and rear shock and 3 for the suspension link ginving you the ability to tune you rig in accordance with you need.
Suspension links: these are kit comes with Stainless Steel link and pivot balls, they are really well machined, the rod ends are on the soft side, yet I don’t think this will have a negative effect neither on the performance or the longevity of them.
Design: this chassis in meant to lower you center of gravity not only through its light weight but also with a 6° design that allows to position the motor and transmission in a lower spot and toward to the front, improving you climbing performance. In addition you can decide between 2 widths 70mm/78mm 2 accordance with the model you are building or improving (SCX10 or SCX10II) .
Extras: Meus Racing is including a carbon fiber front bumper for us saving us $10-$15 and it is ready to accept a winch on it
Manual: there is no manual, yet this is not a big inconvenience
Overall for approx. $50 this is a great upgrade for you truck or you building project, go for it, you won’t regret it

I would recommend flipping the skids to the up position for more clearance. also battery in the front rather than the back is a must for correct CG. I have broken a ball cup both of my first trips out. I have since replaced the ball cups and balls with Axial Capra parts. for the front I used a 40mm X M4 turnbuckle with angled ball cups for the uppers, and 55mm M4 turnbuckle for the lowers, on the rear I used the stock linkage with straight capra ball cups. much more flex in the front suspension now. I am using TRX4 shocks all around with white springs in the front and green in the rear. the body mounts are so loose I couldnt use them. I ended up 3d printing TRX4 body post adapters I found online and they are excellent.

Built this same Chassis , had to use a 540 can motor because a 550 can hit the front lower links when compressed . Great Review !

did no one realize that the rock sliders were installed upside down? Oh and I'm pretty sure the rear links backwards. Or was that a choice made in the video which I missed? Or was this already pointed out and I just gotta watch more vids? lol
