I’d say it’s pretty good, considering the city has been isolated and there’s not a lot of raw materials for engineers from Erudite to develop and mass produce new ones.
I had completely forgotten I'd watched this movie! :D Watched the trailer just now, like "waaait I *have* seen this one!" Then had to check the ending so I can finally watch the third movie, I definitely haven't seen that one yet.
What a finale! What an incredible sequel with a huge ending that left so much to be desired. All lies. They literally show people walking towards the gates as they OPEN for them to discover what is out there and the next film literally shows nothing. It shows that a lot of time has gone by (her hair is considerably longer in the next film) and they still didn’t leave. It was a dull film and no surprise the second part was never made.
Christian McQueen The building is located on the site where present day Trump Tower in Chicago is. As for the set they used it’s actually the entrance to a high end museum whose name I can’t remember right now.
FOUND IT FOUND IT The song's name is "Hole in the sky" Please pin me it took me 2 hours to search it up because some are saying it's blood hand by royal blood etc it's not.
Seperated you we created faction to make peace. Well how about factionless and about the dmg and the pure differences and about we removing the memmorys by kids to recreate them.. there are some stuff that didnt make sense. And not to forget the coup of erudith. Nevertheless still fantastic serie
You do know that the twist is that divergents in the movie are actually just normal people, right? That's the moral of the series, normal people are the key to humanity's survival. Not special or different people. Normal people.
You see Jeannine as a straight up villain, at least that is what most of the viewers and readers will determine. However, I don't. I'm going to explain why. Jeanine took the whole concept of having the factions as the new way of life and to help preserve that new way of life she did everything in her power to maintain it. Along the way, her moral compass was severed because she fell into the system, not realizing until the end that everything was an experiment, to adjust a certainty that the "Divergents" where the necessary keys to insure life. However, by that time she was so dependent and sure that it must still remain the same, she kept hanging on to it. She too was brainwashed. It's like the character of Sgt. Barnes from the movie, Platoon, most viewers, who will see the movie the first time, will make the call that Sgt. Barnes was a villain, an asshole who disregarded life, and only looked out for himself, but if you look closely and understand, Barnes was a victim of the whole cause and situation like everyone else. He had seen so much killing, death and warfare that his soul was consumed, leaving him as a shell of the person that he once was. She was carrying on what the others before her were doing.
_"Mankind waits for you beyond the wall"_
*_It took them so long to open that box that outside mankind have extinct_*
I love the ending statement of the message, it's like in Little Inferno. ''Mankind awaits you, With hope,........ Beyond the wall.
The arctic wall?
This is my favorite ending in the series AAA the song and the cinematics, plus the story to be unfold.

last twenty seconds (3:08 to end) make up one of the endings to any movie that live in my head rent free and have for years now.
How come technology has'nt reached better results on holograms, hundreds of years into the future.
I’d say it’s pretty good, considering the city has been isolated and there’s not a lot of raw materials for engineers from Erudite to develop and mass produce new ones.
Humanity almost faced extinction and your issue is the quality of the holograms... srsly? 🤦♂️
It's a movie people and not that great of one. It's mediocre and it's message pretty simplistic compared to realities ending and coming new beginning.

I had completely forgotten I'd watched this movie! :D Watched the trailer just now, like "waaait I *have* seen this one!" Then had to check the ending so I can finally watch the third movie, I definitely haven't seen that one yet.

As someone with autism this ending gets me every time. Austistic and other neurodivergents are not part of the problem we are part of the solution.
