Brother. It sucked. Let’s be honest with ourselves. You can say you enjoyed it, but the book series and movies literally killed the genre that hunger games popularized.
The reason why it is so disliked is because it lacks character development. The writer of this story created a really cool world with loads of external struggles the characters have to go through, but there are hardly any internal struggles. A strong female lead is only good if she is relatable through her internal struggles and personal misbeliefs that she then overcomes.

@Muimfeè the books are great i am on the first book right now but i always recieve accidental spoilers and i spoiled and read the entire ending.do read the books but in the end yes four does end up with kristina(but not in the original trilogy) basically a few years after the book series ended the author wrote another story telling what happened after and in that she said four and kristina end up together.so if you only read the original books at the end like last chapter of last book tris dies and the end.
I like this film. I especially like the sound of the guns. I also really like the chemistry between the two main actors. We are looking forward to seeing the next 2 😊

Am I the only person whose going to point out how shailene woodley and miles teller starred together in "the spectacular now", she also started with ansel elgort in "the fault in our stars" AND starred with Zoe Kravitz in "big little lies"?!!! I love them all. I honestly loved this series more than the twilight saga and hunger games. The only other movie I was hoping for more of was "Cirque du Freak: the vampires assistant". She wasn't in that, but I loved the books and actually loved the only movie that came out for it.
I really wished to see Four and Tris having a small family in the movie, wished to see having children in the film. Four and Tris always. They have more history behind each other than any other character that’s on the screen. They were meant to be together ❤.

From Day 1, first viewing of this movie, and especially with my own military training, I felt such a kindred spirit with Tris and ADORE this series!! So many ppl I've seen commenting on liking Hunger Games more, but frankly, Tris' female lead character is much stronger & more warrior-mentality...I love how she realizes throughout her Dauntless training its instinctual & where she belongs, that she thrives on the thrills!! Katniss is in her situation because she HAS to be...Tris is because she CHOOSES to be...huge fundamental difference 🙌💯✨️
The biggest mistake they made was hiring the new director for Insurgent and Allegiant 💀 if Neil Berger stayed it wouldn’t have gone down the toilet smhh

I will forever feel cheated out of a 4th movie.. I waited to watch the 3rd so I could watch back to back movies. I guess the world had the same idea, hence low box office numbers for the 3rd movie.. The movies were amazingly done❤

Considering the fact, they were taught military style, the 'punch' that Tris was practicing is terrible and can easily be caught. Plus the peek a boo style of fighting is equally bad, if not worse. They're covering their head sure, but they're leaving their torso exposed and therefore can be knocked down or winded if a kick landed on them. A few broken ribs would be the cherry on top. The reason the boxing does that is because they can't kick. I like how they planned everything, like the workout beforehand, progress of their fighting etc. I just wished they actually got the fighting part accurate, or at least practical.

I have always had an issue that Shailene did not fit the stature or look of Triss well at all. She was meant to be short and petite, and Shailene is actually on the taller side for a woman at 5'8". Also cannot believe Theo pants'd her - and she looks at him like... "yeah... thanks for that" lol

Good video! The first film was an excellent adaptation of the novel. The second film was considerably weaker than the first, and the third film was a complete disaster. Watching the third film, is bears little resemblance to the novel. In fact, it was so bad, that the;y never even made the fourth film, which was to be based on the second half of the third novel. The first film was so great, how did they screw it up so badly by the third?
Too bad the fourth book "Four" wasn't filmed. You cant see the "cliff hanger" promising another film when David (Jeff Daniels) suddenly appears at the end of Allegiant.

Allegiant is the 3rd movie. They didn’t film the 4th because they wanted to turn it into a tv series unfortunately.
