Another fun fact about carpenter pencils is if you lay it flat you can scribe for 1/4 and if you put it tall side you can do 1/2 or you can use them to space things evenly. Use them all the time doing deck work.
I made the same obstacle a while back using methods and ideas from your other videos - this vid's like having my homework marked :) It has the same triangular supports with the same notch out the bottom to avoid rocking 😀 I used 3 triangles laminated together on each end tho, letting me run a bolt up the middle and into a tapped hole in the pipe. I wish I'd gone wider, my ride-ons are 45 degrees, more a wally than a slappy or ride-on.
Stoked you able to apply some of the tips and tricks from our other videos! Thanks for the support, a more slappy style version of this obstacle still sounds super fun
Y’all deserve way more views it’s mind boggling why the algorithm doesn’t give you more love. Anyway. Here’s hoping this comment helps with that even a lil. Keep up the great stuff ! Much love
I literally made plans for this same thing last weekend! I started out planning a blunt steel clone, then thought the bonky sides would be fun. This was great to watch, I hope Dale takes it home so I get to see Dan's session in the future too
Looks very fun! Really appreciate the tips as well. I just knew this thing was gonna slide a lot but I had no idea cutting the halfmoon creates a catch kinda, and it makes a lot of sense
Hey man I had an idea for a wavy manual pad I had imagined framing it out 8ft long 8-10inches high on one end then 2ft8in of the way slope down to 3-4 inches another 2ft8in slight rise back up to 6in or so then end it dropping back down to the same height as the first dip. Would make a lot more sense on a blueprint but I thought that would make a dope obstacle. Def gonna try it out this spring

We typically tap and thread it with 3/8" bolts to a 2"x2" stud but in this case bc it was an experimental obstacle and we were in a rush we just drilled holes through the coping and countersunk the metal/ used a 4" screw to attach in a couple spots

Unfortunately, we don’t actually make a diamond cuts in the coping. We buy the coping like that from a guy in the bay area who has a company called diamond grind.
Cory did you have torn ligaments or turf toe in the popping/pushing toe by chance? That took me out hard for a good bit, hard to predict if I'll be shocked with pain at any given moment haha. Take care great vid looks hella fun!
I started making my own version of this, 7 inches high with 11 inches of tranny and a steeper slappy curb on the other side the came from your slappy pad obstacle, thanks for the idea.
@@keenramps 10-4 .... I get the Walmart - Arkansas connection but the flying mater and Walmart?? He must've found a Ozark Mountain girl and decided to settle down in Little Rock.... All joking to a side Little Rock is a pretty cool town and actually has some good spots to skate. The city use to have skate contests back in the 80s that were pretty big events believe or not.....
Just watched the video... Kinda out of left field simply because this went down in Arkansas... Hope you experienced some southern hospitality and had a good time while you were there brutha...
Why? I've broken ALL my toes multiple times, every toe or right foot at same time and I can tell you from experience there's NOTHING you can do for them except stick gauze between them and tape them together. Want to pay $500 for that be my guest as most these guys have ZERO HEALTH INSURANCE
@@keenramps I'm glad to hear it's feeling better man 🙏. My sister once broke her toe, didn't went to the doctor and it healed crooked, after about a year of suffering she needed to have to toe broken again so it could be set properly. Which was arguably more painful then breaking the toe in the first place. So that's why I was worried a bit.

I should take my 30 years welding and fabrication experience and make more grind rails like I made for myself and friends yrs ago now after seeing how much money people are willing to pay for stuff like that or even these Keen Ramps® Edit: Professional Tik Tok'r shouldn't even be a thing..
Dale is a great addition to the Keen Team.
We agree! Stoked to be working together.
One side with the original angle and one with the current iteration would be dope.
Thanks for your feedback, not a bad idea!
Mellow features are fun features!
That thing looks fun .. keen was rippin !!

That's so rad! Thanks for sharing that
Don’t use them to space deck boards they shrink as they dry out

I want one!!! Very cool!
This looks so awesome and so much fun 😎👍🔥
For a beginner friendly looking obstacle, it’s actually a pretty advanced one.

I had a back injury and havent been able to skate for years now, just push around and slappy stuff really, I would love to see a product like this
Ender is Banger! Bravo
That looks fun
Im like dale looks different today then dale poped up im like wtf, good vid
I back this. Looks like a fun fuck around obstacle.

DO IT!
You have my pre-order!!!!
It looks fun and cool! My birthday is on Wednesday!
Happy early birthday skate rat
Dale's got mad skills
I made something similar for my drive way. I used a big 4" rail though and smooth transition from the rail to the wood
That sounds super fun! Fatter rails are always a cool X factor for an obstacle
That looks like so much fun!
so rad
I see Dale is a fellow hardcore kid.
good video.
I like it...great content
Killer obstacle 🔥
omg, looks so fun!!
What would you recommend for coping material? What could I use as a cheaper alternative to skatelite? This looks super fun!
How did you attach the rail?
I was wondering if the coping was fixed or just lying in the gap too?
All hail Dale!
How did u fix the coping on
Building one today 💪
Did you show how you made the diamond criss cross in the halloween hell bomb vid? (I'll go check shortly anyways 😂)
we didnt! but good idea!!
It looks like fun
It’s super fun!

no comply switch crooked?? 💣🔥🔥

how do you secure the rail on something like this? If you talk about it in another video can you give a link?

What are the measurements for this please?
Was the coping piece bolted on, or just sitting free?

How did the pipe stick to the wood?
Bolts down through holes drilled

This seems cool but why is the rail textured instead of just being normal?
We had it left over from an event and it just felt like a good idea to have such a low impact obstacle be diamond grind for the sound and vibrations
Can you do a tutorial on how to make the diamond cuts in the rail?

@@keenramps Aww man, I thought you made those. Lol. Is it possible to make those with an angle grinder ?
It's basically Diamond Plate, same exact markings. Thinking they have someone who rolls and welds it for them out of Diamond Plate
Take my money 🤣🤘

Nah no ligament damage, just a fracture. It's tender still but manageable
