The dmv offered me one, I argued briefly, wondering why I was arguing, then came to my senses, paid the fee and walked out happy as a clam! I briefly tried to explain that it is a two stroke, not street legal etc....I guess the key is if the title says "enduro" on ot, it is easier to get a plate.
How does this rack do with the Adventure bikes? Have you strapped down the 890R? I have the MotoTote M3 now but just picked up another bike with wider tires and looking to change.
I ordered mine and it came with a washer to use on the hitch bolt. But my washer crushed in when I tightened it up. How do you use that tightening wrench with the washer correctly? Thank you
I ground off the edge of the washer with a grinder so it won't bend. My first one bent too, so I went to hardware store and found a pretty black chrome one and then ground one of the edges flat so it could sit flush on the hitch. Good question!
So true! Last week something was growling before daybreak, I think it was a cougar. It was dark still and it made the hairs on my arms stand up...I promptly started that two stroke! 😀

Solid! MotoTote feels secure rack when flying down a dirt road with the FE501. Didn't feel safe using an aluminum rack so I got one of these.

Can you lock the ramps in place or do you need to keep them inside your vehicle?
I have been leaving the ramp unsecured, but when I ride off, I am always glad when it is there when I get back!
