Watergate Cake Video 1

- CAKE:
1 box white cake mix
20 oz. can crushed pineapples (drained the juices and save, then divide the crushed pineapple in half too, some goes in the cake )(using half of crushed pineapple in cake)
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 (3.4 oz) box pistachio pudding
3 eggs
the reserved pineapple juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Grease a 13×9-inch baking pan with either butter or non-stick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl combine half of crushed pineapples, all the pineapple juice, vegetable oil, eggs, cake mix, pistachio pudding, and mix well.
Now add shredded coconut, pecans, and mix well.
Pour batter into baking pan and spread of evenly, and pop into the oven to bake.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out with just a few clinging crumbs.
Cool cake completely (about 2 hours) or cool for an hour then stick in the refrigerator to cool faster.
ICING:
8 oz tub of Cool Whip
1 (3.4 oz.) box pistachio pudding
the rest of the half of can crushed pineapple
1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped, for garnishing
1/4 cup shredded coconut, for garnishing
1 heaping cup of mini marshmallows, for garnishing
In a medium mixing bowl combine, cool whip, pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple and mix well.
Frost now cooled cake with icing, and spread of evenly, sprinkle the top of the cake with the garnishes which are the pecans, marshmallows, coconut.
Always keep this cake refrigerated because there is cool whip in the icing.
I leave my cake in the baking pan and cover with plastic wrap or press n' seal wrap to keep in fresh in the fridge.

Yum I know that's going to be delicious. I love pistachio pudding. It's my favorite I used to make a pistachio cake years ago out of pistachio pudding and I can't remember how I made it. But I know this one looks better . I know I didn't put all this in it. I'm going to try it. See you in video two

Another great recipe, Sara! A tip for you: a plastic whisk like yours is sometimes floppy. I have one just like it. I was ready to throw it away because it flopped so much and I had to squeeze it so hard. Then I came up with an idea. If your whisk is floppy too, it can be made more firm and easier to use by tying a washed plastic cable-tie tight at the base near the handle.
Before using the whisk push the cable-tie up away from the handle as far as it will go. That tightens the top parts and the whisk won't flop anymore. if you need the cable-tie looser, cut it off and try again until you're satisfied. A firm whisk prevents wet hands from having to hold the whisk top together while stirring.
Zip tie, good idea!
The one I bought at Hobby Lobby the other day had one at the base and I cut it off, and while cutting it off also managed to cut off some of the silicone covering...😤 Now I wish I had just left it alone, if most likely would have been more stable too.

We only do yellow cake with pack of pistachio pudding.then ice it with pistachio pudding kinda thick like. Fridge if and eat cold..omg

Watergate salad was first made in the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC, I believe. (if memory serves me) This cake uses most of those same ingredients.

Double the videos = double the clicks = double the views = double the TH-cam revenue. She knows what she's doing... and how! Only surprising thing is that she isn't splitting them into four parts and also doing 14 second teaser shorts.
I stopped watching her channel because she no longer appears in her videos, all you get to see are her arms and hands and hear her voice with a still camera pointed at her stove top where she does her work. I don’t like it because it is very impersonal, I like to actually see someone looking into the camera and talking to the viewers. Don’t know exactly why she does it that way because she didn’t used to, but she had lots of nasty comments from trolls out there making fun of her looks, her home and whatever else they could think of which might be the reason she videos the way she does now. I don’t care for it though and have unsubscribed to her channel and splitting the short videos in half is irritating and annoying because sometime you can’t find part 1 or 2.
First time watching again in a long time, I stopped because I don’t like the format of Sara’s videos, they are very impersonal with a still camera aimed at her stove where she is doing her cooking and baking with her walking off once in a while to do something until she reappears again and continues to cook. I have mentioned to please show herself again like she used to but I assume all the negative and nasty posts done her in and she doesn’t want to be seen on camera any longer which is to bad. So I will say goodby for good since nothing has changed on her channel, nothing but a voice and some hands moving is not for me, sorry Sarah but I am now unsubscribed.
