- Awaiting Ahab at this point, Heath looks like he'll pound people into dust once he gets low on hp while Yi Sang is potentially a very powerful bleed support if you get a lot of poise in md2h or Ahab supports poise a ton.

New Heathcliff is such a beast. Like I put him in with Don and some other Envy IDs and Mirror Dungeon has never been easier. The amount of dmg that man produces is bonkers, not to mention how easily he enables ENVY res, and in a rare occasion he doesnt have his envy skills up you can just use his basic EGO. On top of that he has amazing animations and art. Supreme job PM.
Right, I forgot about bodysack being envy, that's real good.
For those wondering what uptie 4 gives the new Heathcliff:
1- One more poise count on skill 1.
2- The crit on skill 2 will scale based on 1/3 instead of 1/4 of the bleed.
3- Skill 3 will get an extra +1 coin power condition allowing him to get up to 3 power at 6+ Envy Reson.
4- Skill 3 also gets to inflict an extra 1 bleed with each hit when at -50% HP.
5- The counter gets 1 more base power.
6- the max amount of buffs he gets from the passive gets capped at 9 instead of 6 and the amount he gets is doubled if it's a crewmate getting hit (this includes himself btw which is huge cuz he can full stack from tanking just 3 hits).
7- He will deal 1% extra dmg for every 1% missing HP instead of 0.3% per 1% missing HP
So yeah uptie 4 is VERY good for him, but unlike most other upties who's main value is getting better coins, the value in this uptie is almost pure dmg so if you just want a Pierce tank that can clash good you can keep him at uptie 3
Both of these IDs are crazy in their own way
Yi Sang can pretty much turn his skill 2 into better rip space if you give him 2 or more skill slots as that gives him more poise than he loses.
Heathcliff can gain up to 3 extra power to all skills if you trigger his ability. He pairs well with other tanks as they give him more buffs. Also he only has one stagger threshold, which is good for a counter ID.
For Heath's Snagharpoon, the patch notes never said "equal to" to begin with, they said "based on", which is what they've always used in the past for effects that check a percentage or fraction of the total.
Pequod Yi Sang might be one of my new favourite 2 star IDs.

Yeah, getting a 4 coin on turn 1 or 2 is so fun, he is like W Don + Kuro Hong Lu combined, and he is a 2 STAR
Harpooner heath is really nice, didn't want to pull nor use crates so i used the season 3 000 id guaranteed ticket from bp and managed to get him as well as yi buck, middle meur and middle don, pretty much everything i didn't have from this season so far. It was my luckiest pull in all my years of playing gachas
235hp thats quite high for a character with a mini rip space, also nice pierce ineffective and high damage. Peq-heath looking real good with middle gang and yibuck is going to go well with bleed teams
4:55 to be fair, the preview said "Inflict Bleed count BASED on Bleed potency" and not "Inflict Bleed count EQUAL to Bleed potency".
everyone just assumed that cuz yeah that would be hella broken, but i dont think the idea at any point was to convert bleed like that so easily.
I made an Envy shenanigan team for MD, consists of Zwei Faust, Tingtang HongLu, Dieci Rodion, Middle Don, Middle Meur, Pequod Yi Sang , Pequod Heath. Just clicking Winrate throughout the entire dungeon and doesnt pick up any particularly synergistic Relic for them other than Nebulizer.
The MVP is Dieci Rodion and it's not even close for some reason..... Maybe Coins > Synergy lol

Decided to grab pequod yisang halfway through (doing envy memes) to test him out
He outdamaged the entire team and pulled out a 25% damage MVP.
That 5 coin S2 does not fuck around. It's good, but he's selfish and probably wants a skill slot.
The thought just occured to me:
Will ahab react to ishmaels future ahab ID? Similar to kromer/Nclair
I hope so, and I also hope that unlike Kromer, Ahab gets *stronger* in response

...i wonder if captain ishmael will have some sort of "bleed deluge" (but probably a lot more tuned than sinking deluge), where you can speed up bleed damage per turn
I don't think you need that on bleed as the ticks from bleed happen very quickly anyway. What it could really do with is some EGO support to speed up it's application. A Bleed Shank, as it were.
@@Gitskreig you definitely do not need bleed deluge but i think itd be funny if the ahab id had a way to consume everything the pequod team did and deal damage based on how much work they did
Maybe a skill that procs bleed so bleed isn't useless when enemies are staggered

the keyword isn't deluge, it's rupture. Believe me, I came from the future.
Huge buff for envy teams, possibly making them come online with A or S rank efficiency.
If you have enough units with just "chance to envy"(high number of envy skills)and you start popping mid-sault and mid-don along with Peq-Cliff you could do some nasty damage, especially with envy owned being a passive and not envy reson.
Idk, maybe not as good as R-Cliff due to the burst and you can't "push win to win" as much, but strategically it might be the better unit.
I can see First mate Yi Sang skill 2 being really nasty in the mirror dungeons with the right ego gifts.
I'm just guessing blindly here but what if Captain Ahab ID for Ishmael inflict Prey Mark on a target and make your characters guarantee to crit when attacking that unit? How strong would that be?
I don't think its very likely.
That would be kinda broken for non-poise IDs like ninclair or the Ws, but I would imagine something like double crit chance on the mark would be feasable. That way you still need poise, but you need less poise to pop off.
Or maybe, just making guarantee critical for the Pequods

I managed to roll a 32 with Heath’s s3 on a lower MD floor, envy gang with him is insanely fun

I really like the new Kit. They are more bleed aupport ID than poise ID, they just not very consistent about it.
I really like Harpoon Cliff kit. Skill 1 into skill 2 to maximize crit on second coin look very sweet but I feel that amount of reset to make that crit happen.
Harpoon Yi Sang skill 2 is a meme and a dream. If it crit, It deal up 96 damage. Rip space is 100. But don't expect it to happen. Criting once is already hard enough. Just hope more crit on skill 2.
Cliff does have healing. Healing from AEDD passive which also help harpoon Cliff playstile to keep low hp.
Awaiting Ahab to help with poise and yup I forgot about AEDD, that'll help with the stay low but don't die playstyle.
Criting with Pequod Yi Sang is a pretty damn good feeling. S1 is actually decent, S2 hits like a truck, and hitting a crit on S3 is just an addiction at this point. Even better, getting high poise values and then using an EGO for the sweet damage.
One other of the trinity of bleed count is hooklu, his s1 applies a bit and s2 applies count up to +6 always equal to the speed diffeence between him and the enemy, synergizes extremely well with this yisang coz he binds.
we always wanted more godly pierce IDs but kinda sucks that it had to be heathcliff first tho at least this one is a more consistent clasher and a bleed powerhouse
sidenote: this banner has been breaking my heart more than cathy did to heath sadge 7k down the drain so ig ill wait for bp to max out and spark him later
Loving the new Yi Sang. To be honest, I think he is a bit better than Blade Salsu YS. He has a whole lot of bleed and poise. His poise gain is surprisingly quick, which is good because it helps his S2's clashing power. His Skill 3 is also very powerful, giving an on use benefit of 5 poise, getting 7 total poise if the first coin is heads. Then he inflicts 4 bleed on his second hit and an extra 4 on a crit. Really good bleed support and damage dealer, but i think he does fall off on quicker fights, like most Yi Sang IDs, but is not as susceptible to it.
Nah, the 1:3 potency to count isn’t new, we just didn’t know the numbers yet. I totally called it was going to be like that too.
I hope if we get a color ID all the coin will be uniform, like red gaze will be all wrath and indigo elder all gloom for example.

@@MooMooCows yh while ting tang is arguably better for team synergy classes etc, his bleed application is ass, on the plus Hook Lu’s S3 just makes you smile against low health bosses that are weak to either pierce or pride. But ting tang does get more consistent use with dimension shredder

Pequod crew will probably be more suitable for them later on, ultimately need to wait for Ahab before anything else can be confirmed.
Think you read wrong for abs6 envy, u read it as 24 but it should be 28. Quite big diff lol

one of them is clash power, not coin power. It's only 24 and clashing for 25 (Plus tons of offense level up)
