Tbh i cant wait for Voltron. Testing already started, ow they only have to theme the queue and in march they are opening the coaster. I think it is going to be amazing. One thing i am worried about is the launch at the turntable.
Quite the year coming up. Around my neck of the woods in Denmark we've only got a single roller coaster coming up this year but it looks solid. "Vindfald" at Tivoli Friheden. Officially the world's smallest Gerstlauer Eurofighter, smaller than even Hydrus. Just a lift, beyond vertical drop, loop, double up, immediate twisted turnaround, corkscrew and bunny hop into the brakes. Just 300m long exact. Short but sweet. And the park really deserves it, their former headlining roller coaster Cobra sucked, and it was involved in a deadly accident just a week after you 2 visited Denmark yourself in 2022, so the park needed a replacement. An Intamin Hot Racer was supposedly in the cards but they went with a Gerstlauer Eurofighter instead, presumably because of Gerstlauers higher track record for safety.

It should be pretty fun. Dorney Park hasn't had a new original coaster since Hydra: the Revenge in 2005 & they definitely were due for one. I'm about an hour 20 minutes from Dorney Park & will definitely plan a trip there this summer with my mom and kids. I was there last night and it was fine, but this trip should be better.
For me I’m just excited for the roller coasters opening at movieworld this year. I’m just excited to see more family coasters in this park as until next year is only one. I’m also excited for it as it would be my first boomerang and it should be theme well. That just me but you guys are fantastic!
2024 looks like it will be a good year for unique coaster types (though I don't think Circuit Breaker will be one of them, haha!). I moved to Vienna a few months ago and from what I heard, there should be a new Mack Big Dipper opening up in Wiener Prater this summer, so i am very excited about that one. They already broke ground, so ... Fingers crossed! Happy 2024 btw!!
I’m very hyped up for the Intamin Ultra Surf at Over Georgia as it will be the ultimate summer splash down when it opens to the GP in the summer. Obviously mega excited for Hyperia, as its going into my local park. And I know it's not a new coaster, but I can't wait for Nemesis to re-open. The theming looks incredible already too.

Quite looking forward to 2024, 10 of the ones I am looking forward which I most likely will try to get on: 1. Hyperia 2. Voltron 3. Top Thrill 2 4. Vekoma Suspend Thrill Coaster (Emerald Park) 5. Fire in the Hole 6. Lift & Launch Coaster (Drayton Manor) 7. Minifigure Speedway 8. Good Gravy 9. Family Boomerang (Emerald Park) 10. Snoopy's Soap Box Racers
I'm from the UK and Thorpe is 30miles from me, you better believe I'll be riding HYPERIA day 1 and many times in 2024. I'm also very lucky to be going to USA in may/June and will be riding top thrill 2 (missed my chance to ride the real deal) I'll be riding good gravy , fire in the hole also.
If you guys havent yet, you really need to come to Playland in Vancouver in the Summer! Also you should go to Cultus Lake Adventure Park in Chilliwack. Its only got a Zamperla family coaster but its an amazingly well themed park and fits a lot into a very tiny area.
Jungle Rush at Dreamworld. A custom Vekoma family thrill coaster, choice of backwards or forwards launch, world first tilted turntable (whatever that is), full of airtime moments, dark ride component and massively themed.
To be honest, I'm generally pleased that the parks invest so much in their rollercoasters. I don't have a favorite, but I did notice that a designer at Legoland must have played a lot of 'Micro Machines', as their logo bears a striking resemblance that immediately caught my eye. 😅
Bit surprised Drayton Manor's new Intamin family coaster didn't make the list. Really looking forward to the new Nemesis and Hyperia! Finally, the UK is getting some buzz!
Been enjoying your channel since finding the European road trips! I'm a designer for the Legoland parks and based in Windsor, so excited to hear you might be heading this way.
Just a 2 and a half hour drive away from me is the best ride opening in 2024, and has potential to be one of the top 5 coasters in Europe. Can’t wait for hyperia!!
My personal most anticipated coaster is Circuit Breaker! I really hope it opens in 2024. I want to experience a tilt coaster and a new-gen Vekoma so bad, and Circuit Breaker is both of those!!
The issue is we have no idea what the layout/trains are, to be able to judge it. I think it would easily be on their list if they had this information.
Nah its unlikely that Europa Park will ever build a ride such as Hyperion. Voltron will probably be the best overall coaster. But when it comes to thrill, i dont think voltron will be that good. But still a lot of fun. And what ppl dont know about voltron is that 1) dark ride section with an effect track (whatever this means) 2) the theming we get is just the first part of 2. The second tower where the turn tables are, might get surrounded by walls and thus create a second darkride section in the future. For sure it will be the best overall coaster as mentioned and will be a lot of fun, but it also will miss the thrill like Hyperion gets.
If Michigan's Adventure ever ever EVER gets a new coaster, I feel that it should get a Top 5 spot, regardless if it's an RMC, Intamin, or a Wacky Worm cause nobody would ever see it coming. As for Top Thrill 2, I know the powerful launch is gone, but I feel the back spike drop will make up for it. YEET! Great Vid yall.
I see what yall mean with circuit breaker for sure. The closest thing we have to one of these is the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Orlando (which is super fun, but a family oriented dark ride, not a full fledged coaster experience)
I'm the most excited for the Donkey Kong coaster. It looks absolutely bananas with that 'jumping' track. DK was a big part of my childhood. I can't wait to see how they utilise this new technology to create a great ride. The new Jungle Rush coaster at Dreamworld is also looking really nice. It's great to see that park is getting the face lift it needs. Looking forward to that too.
Awesome year for coasters. Have booked trips to Europa park and energylandia and looking forward to visits to Alton towers and Thorpe park. Hope to bump into you guys on your travels
Come to Phoenix! One of the largest, most populated metropolitan areas in the country! Our newest roller coaster is 1992's Desert Storm located in the parking lot of a dead mall! If you don't like that one, Magic Mountain is only like 6 hours away. 😵
I'm loving these new rides! I just really hope some parks, specifically Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks would work on their problems with management and operations, the rides are amazing but people want to ride the rides.
One attraction I’m really looking forward to is not a roller coaster but a water ride. It’s Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio. It was supposed to open last year in the summer but got delayed till this year so that was unfortunate but still excited!
What about ‘Jungle Rush’ Vekoma coaster coming to Dreamworld Australia? Suppose to be insanely heavily themed, and a never seen before tilted turntable which means you can ride the entire track both forwards then backwards in each cycle! 😅
Voltrons theming and overall experience will blow Hyperia out of the water. Hyperia as a coaster just looks impressive with no dead spots and unique elements. They are easily the 2 best coasters for 2024.
Regarding the Top Thrill 2 name…. Fascinating takeaway from Tony Clark from the ACE Eastern Great Lakes event Q&A in September 2023: The name “Top Thrill 2” did not originate from the Sandusky-based team. I wonder what it might have been if the locals had won out.
Was hoping to see Drayton Manor's new coaster on here, but then again they have given absolutely NOTHING away about this coaster, except slipping up and spoiling that its a spinner. No animation, no POV, no layout... But with that, Nemesis REBORN, Minifigure Speedway and of course Hyperia, its gonna be such a great year for us brits
What if busch gardens williamsburg put a minecart themed ride around the escape from pomei area? I think that would be pretty fitting. It could zoom under the bridge you walk over to get to italy
I live 9 miles from Circuit of the Americas. I drove through last week and they have installed the footers for Palindrome. Also, Circuit Breaker track is onsite.
Quite surprised the Lift & Launch Coaster at Drayton Manor is not on here along with a mention of a Nemesis Return, as if you come for a visit to the UK why not go to those other 2 wonderful parks both are about 2 hours from Thorpe if you are planning a trip to Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor
Hyperia does look quality but only if it just had one more air time hill at the end. I think TT2 will surprise the doubters. 101mph going backwards up the spike would be top quality.
As a german in can Tell u voltron is a total beast never had anything like this it is place 1 for sure while i was in the waiting line i saw a few ppl pass out and puke 😅 its disgustingly powerful
Woooooo going to Thorpe Park in April so I hope Hyperia is open and may FINALLY get to King’s Island and Cedar Point in early May for opening season. Don’t like my chances for TT2 being open. So hard to get to these parks from Australia

Did you hear that Intamin totally screwed their relationship with Toverland? Installing Dragon Watch, Intamin did not hold up to the contract and the ride is continuously down. What are your thoughts of this?
New B&M's coming......this means Clermont Steel Fabricators in Batavia., Ohio are REALLY staying busy. Should be lots of track sitting outside their plant soon for multiple projects.
I'm just hoping that the one in cota is open in june don't think so but its probable going to be a long time before i get back to that part of the world.

so proud that my home park has the number one spot
I'm loving these new rides! I just really hope some parks, specifically Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks would work on their problems with management and operations, the rides are amazing but people want to ride the rides.
One attraction I’m really looking forward to is not a roller coaster but a water ride. It’s Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio. It was supposed to open last year in the summer but got delayed till this year so that was unfortunate but still excited!
we are excited for that too!
Im personally very hyped for voltron, but the absolute number 1 thing opening this year will be danse macabre (even though its not a coaster)
You guys are so awesome ❤
What about ‘Jungle Rush’ Vekoma coaster coming to Dreamworld Australia?
Suppose to be insanely heavily themed, and a never seen before tilted turntable which means you can ride the entire track both forwards then backwards in each cycle! 😅
Congrats to Over Georgia for being the first park in the Six Flags chain to get a new gen Intamin coaster with the Ultra Surf
Nice video!👍 Yours top 3 i full agree! But i think Voltrons teaming gonna beat Hyperias.✌️
Voltrons theming and overall experience will blow Hyperia out of the water. Hyperia as a coaster just looks impressive with no dead spots and unique elements. They are easily the 2 best coasters for 2024.
Agree with the list. It's pretty much the same as what I'd suggest
16:31 It will by far be the best in the park, maybe best in Germany
What if busch gardens williamsburg put a minecart themed ride around the escape from pomei area? I think that would be pretty fitting. It could zoom under the bridge you walk over to get to italy
3:00 No way they made Geometry Dash lobotomy into a real thing
Hyperia for me aswell being from England 👍
I live 9 miles from Circuit of the Americas. I drove through last week and they have installed the footers for Palindrome. Also, Circuit Breaker track is onsite.
Quite surprised the Lift & Launch Coaster at Drayton Manor is not on here along with a mention of a Nemesis Return, as if you come for a visit to the UK why not go to those other 2 wonderful parks both are about 2 hours from Thorpe if you are planning a trip to Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor
I never rode Top Thrill Dragster 1; I have my limits when it comes to height and speed! 😊
Hyperia does look quality but only if it just had one more air time hill at the end. I think TT2 will surprise the doubters. 101mph going backwards up the spike would be top quality.
If it was 2 seconds longer it would have been 20:24
Sea World Orlando with the 5th B&M, that is just crazy. Sorry Great Adventure.
As a german in can Tell u voltron is a total beast never had anything like this it is place 1 for sure while i was in the waiting line i saw a few ppl pass out and puke 😅 its disgustingly powerful
Very good. Thanks. 🙏 ❤❤
Busch Gardens Tampa needs an indoor coaster or dark ride desperately.
Woooooo going to Thorpe Park in April so I hope Hyperia is open and may FINALLY get to King’s Island and Cedar Point in early May for opening season. Don’t like my chances for TT2 being open. So hard to get to these parks from Australia
taylor, its been soooo so long since you listed your top coasters overall. would LOVE to see how its changed!! any chances of getting that type of video?
it's on its way! Hopefully within the next month
Should be lots of track sitting outside their plant soon for multiple projects.
tbh, Daddy Pig's 2nd Roller Coaster should've been number #1, just being honest
Nemesis reborn is incredible. Should of been on th list
I'm just hoping that the one in cota is open in june don't think so but its probable going to be a long time before i get back to that part of the world.
