Wonderful result for a man with very serious skills, i would have put 2 real windows among the top windows, but it would have increased the final cost. It's also way to easy too criticize behind a smartphone... Respect Gino!

While watching this I kept thinking "I would do this" or "I hope he does this". Then lo and behold he did just what I was thinking. This man thinks very much like I do and I would feel quite comfortable to say to him, "Here's the money." and let him build my structure for me without oversight.

You need to ventilate the under floor space get some air movement. Very nice shed

I think I would have used a metal roof. Better for slopes below 4/12 pitch and longer life.
I thought about it, I ended up going with shingles just to match the house a little closer.
@@gino.varisano Looks good but why did you use both roll shingles and tabbed shingles? Isn't it cheaper to use tar paper instead of the roll singles, then tabbed shingles on top?
@@snejsnej01 it’s just a weather resistant underlayment. Cost a bit more but I think it will go a long way in preventing any leaking in the future. Also I was working in my free time so it allowed me to get it pretty watertight very quickly and then I could get to the shingles when time allowed.

dont know how well ventilated it will be when the roof nogins have been put so they block air from getting in between the joists from the fascia. especially if you then also spray foam in the gaps to make them airtight... not getting any ventilation then

Why did he build the front wall in 3 sections which set inside the end walls?
I don’t remember. Probably because I couldn’t lift it solo and couldn’t fit the tractor in there and ‘cause I barely know what I’m doing. Haha. I enjoy building stuff but still learning plenty.

Nossa vcs daí demora tanto tempo pra fazer uma casa nos aqui no Brasil faz uma casa dessa em 2 semanas e fica bem mais forte e dura anos nem vento derrubar aí todos os anos aparece na TV que os ventos derruba várias casas isso que vcs leva tempo pra fazer

Of course free standing framing wobbles, Once the sheathing is added the entire structure is tied together and becomes extremely stable.

The problem in a few years will be that the outer wooden beams will rot away because they are in topsoil and not on concrete, so they don't have a dry base. Otherwise a great video. Thanks

What's a one-man shed? Why is he putting untreated wood into the ground? Even treated wood rots in the ground.
It’s is ground contact pressure treated. The edges of the gravel pad may rot over many years, but easy to keep an eye on and replace.
Reason why they make it on skids is that the structure is considered "temporary". And that means its a significantly lower tax on it.
And thats how one man can build a shed..... using a tractor! LOL.😂😂😂. $15,000 for that? Pretty darn good! But then you had to go & paint it dark blue. That will just make that tiny home a heat sink. This is not a shed.

I think it's a translate problem. They don't mean wood shed. They mean e wooden tiny house.
The foundation is not fixed and the structure of the house is very weak. If a typhoon comes, it will just be blown away.

Haha, we use it for lots of stuff that’s just the state it was in when I was filming. We have a baby running around and run multiple businesses / projects. Our house isn’t that large so any extra space inevitably becomes ever changing and multipurpose.
So much of wood is used, if this is in india easily 10 house can build with thsi much of wood , only in india save tree 🌳 concern foreigner dam care about trees , every house has 100 of tree cut , wake up people do some alternate method save trees

its built as a temporary structure, so it doesnt need building permission.
That thing has more foundation & drainsge than a regualr pier bulit house.. a concrete pad mighta been cheaper.
