I believe that the player-type of Masterleaf is being an inventor of techniques and ideas . thus making him unexpected,innovating and resilient. Bikerush is a soldier, he will sacrifice nearly everything if not all to win.He will also be highly agressive to get an advantage. The above explaing why these two can produce quality matches
@@arturia5976 I did, proved my point. Future tried rushing tech to get an advantage and it failed. Bike ran him over with tanks and infantry. That is a theme with many of the games in this series as he won through fundamentals, not flashy units.

They are a gamble. In a competitive game it's an easy target for your opponent and because they take like 10 minutes to pay off most of the time it's not worth it. If the game is longer or you're really good at defending them then they can be worth it.
Thx for the response. I always look at scrin bases that are uncontested for the entire game that run out of tib and just ask myself ‚why?‘ The chance of 50% more resources seems like it is worth the risk.
In game #5 masterleaf lost a lot of engineers that were worth about 10k. He could have just used stealth transport and 2 engineers to capture tib spikes or other buildings. I don't understand masterleaf's tactic.

It is true that what matters is the excitement that the tournaments provide, but that excitement also gets extinguished after already knowing the results from the start of the title screen of the video. The "competitors" are suffering from the same refined tactics, but they don't copy the same patterns because either they can't or don't want to. I'am not attacking you or Bike, these tournaments need more professional players that can actually match these tactics and provide actual challenge for bike because like it or not he is a different category. And just to clarify I'am not saying these videos should stop, this is simply a subjective opinion.

EA did sponsor tournaments for it, but they also abandoned it immediately for RA3 and C&C 4. They did a couple of ladder season competitions and maybe one WCG, and moved on.
About the chinese comments, there's a QnA channel by Mediastorm影视飓风. The viewers asked how did he learn to speak in an accent that is non-chinese. He said he watched Red Alert 3 commentary, and the clip showed Sybert casts. According to him, Sybert mentioned his channel as a Patreon supporter. That channel caters mostly to chinese-speaking audiences
Bikerush is a level above all other players. His total dominance takes from the excitement of watching these tournaments as the results are a forgone conclusion. I do live in hope someone will come along who can match Bike without having to use novelty rushes.

Seeing Bikerush win every match gets more boring overtime. I'm disappointed with Masterleaf tbh, he does all these strats and counters in his channel yet he doesn't do those things he shows in big moments like tournaments like this. He switched to infantry MOK enlightened squads? Why isn't he pressuring the enemy? Guess what, he turtles and let Bikerush gather APCs with sniper teams, where are the venom+beam canon combos to deal with GDI artillery? Why tf are you using Vertigos??? On the other game, why does he keep on spamming engineers to steal bikerush's spikes? It was already proven that he's guarding them yet masterleaf still continues sending engineers wasting money, guess what bike attacks his base and he doesn't have a response because he's out of cash. Didn't even try to finish watching, it pisses me of they're just throwing whenever they're against bikerush.
While I do enjoy watching bikerush and he’s is a great player. I do get a feeling the other 2 were not taking the tournament very serious. They were just trying to have fun and didn’t care if they won. While bikerush was in it to win it and you can’t blame him for playing to win when his opponents are I guess you could say throwing. Which I do agree does make for a boring tournament when you have one guy trying and the others just messing around. This is actually why I enjoy watching generals evo. And red alert 3 as you don’t see this happen any.
You are missing out. The only thing that matters to you is the score? Why is that final number the only quality metric? I would rather have great games and plays and an unbalanced score than a close score but garbage games.

A one-sided matchup won't have nearly as many fun encounters, gameplay moments, and strategies as 2 players who're on an equal skill level, or one or two of them trying more unique strategies. It's a minority opinion, but his games are always boring to watch. Just like any Allies player in RA3 or any winning-y sports team IRL. Naturally the ideal is a balanced score with great games, which you've casted plenty of times. That way we get more great games (Like a Bo7 going 4-3 instead of 4-0, meaning more games to see). Apologies if I sounded condescending.

I'm still a fan of how Masterleaf plays. Win or lose he's far more willing to try fun and unusual strats than most other players.
