Always excited when I see Phoenix is playing. That nuke on the juggernauts followed by the cleanup air-vapor bomb was some serious insult to injury.
It looked like Futurama bunched his Jugs together to bait the nuke, hoping to capture the husks afterwards, but didn't expect the follow-up vapor bomb.
Almost felt like Zero Hour (or Gen Evo), which features superweapons and destructive one-clicks far more than Kane's Wrath; there are 5 different one-clicks in ZH that can take out a war factory or overlord tank.
So good that this game and community is still running strong after all this time. Sybert your commentary still fresh as ever great turn of phrase and consistent levels of enthusiasm throughout as always. Underlying it all is that these guys are really, really good at their game, the skills are at extremely high level, the counters are always solid and immediate, decision making and timing is generally exactly as you think it, and we the viewer has the benefit of second hand perspective rather than in the moment reaction. The whole experience has been an absolute joy to be part of for so many years, I'm genuinely excited to see a new game or series appear on YT and am rarely disappointed. Long may it continue

I think this match deserves a rematch, such good gameplay and entertaining. I've been binging a lot of your C3 gameplay narration and I have to say that Futurama and Drive are good players, I havent seen much of the other 2 and I'm glad they were able to pull out the win as its good to see new faces enter the arena and should be welcomed with open arms so that new players can join the fold as well. Love your narration as well, it brings a whole new level of entertainment to what I'm watching. Thanks for your work, subscribed.

watching Cybert on 1.5x speed is great, tons of action and great casting. The players swapping colours does mess with me a little bit but its super cool to see the constant back and forth of thee players

Why does no one ever use the anti-vehicle turrets? It's always a watchtower or shreader turret that gets put down against a vehicle army. I feel like most of the time a laser turret or guardian cannon would be better, i know they're more expensive but i feel like having the turret actually do something would be worth it.
Laser turrets and guardian cannons have seen a lot more use due to 1.02+ changes. In the original game they just were never worth it. Too expensive, too much power, too weak and watch towers with AP ammo are a way better option.
In modern times guardian and laser turrets are seen fairly often but most folks prefer to build tanks and use watch towers to add extra damage or absorb shots.

Great Series .. ALL Great Games . Rex playing Scrin is awesome to watch . {{... Alhough , I wish he would Garrison Shock troopers into the Hexapod , instead of Disintegraters . ( Shock Troopers have the Longest range , plus , Anti-Air is Always good to have as well ) ...}} I hope to see more of Rex in the future . Thanks Sybert , Great commentary .

Speaking of big Tier 3 battles i had an idea maybe the community could get behind maybe if we all chip in we can throw some prize money together for a Big Late Game Extravaganza, something like no engagements for fiest 3 to 5 mins of the battle only scouting is allowed and eco and tech you can make units but they must remain in your base and cannot attack and as soon and the clock reaches the determined time Boom! We have huge battles that kick off it would be Epic!!!

Only because of the 4k textures patch which I think Sybert uses.
Masterleaf's 4K texture pack does help, but even without it KW still looks good. It has the right art direction and came out at the right time that the engine still looks good 14 years later.

Is there a certain patch/mod people play on? Is any patch recommended for download since I hear that in the official 1.02 Black Hand is op?
I loved watching these games... one thing i always hates was the hexalame teleport. It was a simple one click and then corrupter heal... hated that crap.
