  • A friend of ours desperately needed a new wrap for their golf cart and what better color than to match it to the widebody FRS!

    Nice job, i am new to wrapping and want to try but have a question. When u pealed off green vinyl u made a comment that they didn’t even wrap the back in one piece but then u put a seam on the back also, I’m assuming it’s just easier to seam sometimes?

      Sometimes seams are necessary. There is a lot of things that you would think you need to seam but can be done in one piece but sometimes a seam will make the wrap last longer because there will be less chances of it pulling up.

    How much wrap did you have to buy for the cart?

    • @FRS2K
      @FRS2K  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Pedro Perez The most you should need is a 5x12 sheet. Its always smart to get more than what is needed just in case you run into any issues.

    Where do you find the wrap?

      @saltycd I usually order from metrorestyling.com

    How much vinyl do you need for this project?

    • @FRS2K
      @FRS2K  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @sher lyn pretty sure I used a 5'x10' sheet. Cut that down length wise and you'll have 2.5'x 20' which was plenty

      Looks good. Did you wrap your ride? Thx for tip on the seam. Where do you buy it for a decent price?

      @@michaelmarcheseThanks! Yeah 2 of our cars are wrapped and I've wrapped 9 full vehicles so far. Something that I wanted to learn to save us money has actually made us some now 😄 I usually order from metrorestyling.com If you order over $100 you get free shipping.

    Do you recall what the color was ?
    I ordered Gloss Purple Blue Iridescent from metrostyling. Just wondering if it's the same as yours.
    I really like yours.
    I haven't received my shipment yet.

      @Amy Melton Ours is gloss turquoise lavender. I know the color that you ordered and we almost wrapped the s2000 in that. Its much darker but it does look good.

      @@FRS2K have you used any of the gloss colors. The straight up solid red, green, black white

    • @FRS2K
      @FRS2K  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaelmarchese most colors that I have used have been gloss but a little more crazy than solids other than black. You can go pretty wild with colors without it getting more expensive for the material. Once you get into chrome or printed designs it starts to get really expensive for vinyl.
