- This Arctic road trip in my camper van has been full of challenges so far, but this one has to be the biggest yet! I am certainly not a mountain climber. But in this video, climbing a mountain was pretty necessary for the rescue mission.
Since my last Arctic video, I've had a string of disasters. But I was determined to not let it get me down. And I wanted to turn the negative into a positive. Which meant launching a rescue mission up the mountain... In the Arctic!
And a huge thank you to @MispronouncedAdventures for not only joining me, but for helping the mission goal!
I hope you're enjoying this Arctic van life road trip series so far!

This was even more dramatic than the hunt for the missing toy sheep
I was thinking of Mr Carrot (the sheep) when we were up there haha
I came here to comment this!!!! ❤
Someday you will tell your grandkids about these adventures. Keep living the dream all of the old guys like me wish we still could my friend!
That blonde lady in the snow shoe shop has a beautiful voice !
Alex what a complete legend! And the fact you got the drone back is mind blowing 🤯
The roller coaster of emotions with that rescue mission, I shed a tear of joy when you found it 🤣🤣
Excellent British entertainment. Loved it. Alex just plays it cool hehe
wow, I can't believe you found it. Pigeon to the rescue!
As soon as I saw that grey Transit I knew... :D
An amazing rescue 🛟 of the digital Bird! Thanks to Alex and what an epic ending!
Amazing that you found the drone, Alex is a top bloke.
Is there anything Alex can't do? Top bloke.
Fella, genuine. The best vid I've seen for time. Great you got the DB back. Long live the AdzVenture.
Thanks mate! It’s appreciated!
It's the unexpected bits of trips that are the best memories! You'll never forget that mission
Yeah that ended up being my best memory!
Drama, gritty determination and an amazing successful & happy ending, this had it all!
Keep on trucking!
Jeanians
Success digital drone is home, going to give the arctic adventurer a follow top geezer.
Brilliant mate edge of the seat viewing!!! Can’t believe you got the digital bird back, I bet you were so pleased when you found her!! Really pleased for you mate. Excellent as always !!!!
What a week you've had. I've seen Alex near York and he looks way more comfortable in the snow.
thank goodness the drone was saved.. and lived.. with the cookie
Funny that you met up with Alex, I follow him as well🤣 You should be pretty safe with him as he is a consultant for roamer and I guess you will have some added benefits having him in your circle, all should be good when you help one another👌
I’d like to think it was my guiding background which may have came in more help on that day than my consultation work with Roamer!
@@MispronouncedAdventureswell I mean we were technically ’roaming’ so who knows
@@MispronouncedAdventures Surely you did good on that one😊
If you follow logic, any kind of physics can't win if you know your facts about how and why.
You guys still up there?
I'm waiting for spring so I can tow my caravan with my FWD wagon full of heavy crap in the luggage and my caravan is on the legal limmit my car is legally allowed to tow, so I really need grip🤣
the footage from the mishap should be legend
Alex the legend
Excellent - AA to the rescue 🙃
Alex sliding downhill looked so much fun 🤩
.. I do hope you bought that spanner 😁
I did buy the spanner! And now I want to find an even bigger one!

Ha, awesome!! What a result.
Hay buddy glad you found the drone, keep em coming loving the story. Keep safe 🙂
Well done on finding it hopefully we see the footage in the next vid
Brilliant keeping it real Paul 👍
Nice work💪👍. Adz , get on the fitness thing now-you’ll love it👍
Nice Jacket. Looks real warm
Adzs, I know the pain of losing a "failsafe, return to home drone" My DJI Phantom 3 Pro (top drone at the time, £1300) decided never to return at Beachy head in Eastbourne... I was so pissed off I left the world of filming from a drone !!
Keep at it, mate, you're very entertaining. 😉👍🏻
Now I've watched it all ! ... I'm so pleased for you... well done Alex, you are a bit of a legend.
Missing the walking poles to go with the snow shoes Loving the series - inspirational !
That was epic! Really enjoyed the search and rescue 😅
Drone on Adz! 🎉
Another entertaining masterpiece, keep safe out there ☯️
That was incredible, how you both found it was insane haha! safe travels sir.
Yeah for some reason I thought we would but looking back on it, it’s definitely surprising that we did! It was only just sticking out the snow too!
One word brilliant
Fantastic! That was an epic trip. got the drone back! how the f? 😆 Great humour and plenty of laughs. But to get that drone back is ridiculous and the video from it spectacular. Thx man. 👍🏻
Can't believe I follow both of you guys
Great result.
Well Adam, I’ve been watching your channel since the early days of jellybean & wow!! You have come a long way since the early days & this artic series has probably the best drone footage I’ve seen on utube. You are as entertaining as ever & becoming a very skillfull vlogger with great content, great story lines, & fantastic camera/ drone footage. Keep it up mate & don’t fall into the trap of some vloggers that just make videos full of crap with titles to make viewers open the videos only to find crap!!! I could not believe you found your drone, not just luck but well thought out strategy to locate it. You need to sort out a reliable heat source AND a back up heat source for the pigeon. Also just realised I was not a subscriber so just joined one of the best channels on utube, well done you👍😁
Thank you so much John! Glad you’ve been following since the start, and glad to hear you’re still enjoying the videos!
Adz , attach an AirTag to the drone , it’ll be much easier to locate and they weigh nothing , you’d have found it as soon as you got within Bluetooth range
Hope that helps
Good idea, apologise if I'm being silly on this one, but wouldn't that then technically put it over the 249gram weight for somewhere like the UK?
Who is likely to weight it out there?
It’s not a mini drone, so it’s way above 250g. But yeah the air tag is a great idea!
AirTags won’t help
Can
You explain why not ?
Loving this story so far, with a a cool narrative style with a humorous twist. How the hell are you walking around with no gloves…
I feel like the digital bird needs a real name. Glad you went out looking for it. Those random accidental events which lead to trecking in snow covered mountains is what adventure is all about. Respect.
Awesome guys... great work!! 👍 😊
EPIC adventures, congrats with finding back the drone. If you want to experience reel low temperatures than you might want to start your engine every 4 hours during the night
Get and Install a little wood stove like Forestry Forest has in his van to save on fuel and stay warm. Glad you found the drone. Thanks for sharing and have a grand day.
Im very impressed you found that drone i bet you was buzzing with that find👏
What a life, you're living my dream! I'm glad you found your drone with the help of Alex and that you could return the new one. Hope they fix that road so you can get to Sweden as soon as possible. Take care my YT friend. Greetings from Holland.
Thanks for sharing😁
Glad you had a happy ending after all that exertion!
Incredible!!
Made up for you Adam…..& Alex, he was awesome, so glad you got it back…..tough going , but worth it for £1400 of drone……here’s to a less dramatic ending to this Adz - venture 👍👌🇮🇲😉
Thanks mate! That’s gotta be one of the highlights of the trip (although it didn’t feel like it on the way up!)
Legend love your videos mate 💪🏻
There’s me telling you weeks ago to watch Alex and mispronounced and there you are BFF’s! Great episode mate, never leave a man behind.
Yeah we met up at a couple of events last year mate. Glad he was there to help the rescue!
Great Vid Ad, Keep them up
I love that you both linked up… and even better you both went on a mini adventure to find your drone 👍
Awesome
What an emotional rollercoaster! Congratulations on a great recovery, you earned it!
Fantastic :)
Gripping rescue, your film making is coming along in leaps and bounds. Best of luck.
Wow actual professional rescue team 👏
The footage was wroth the man hunt for the drone love it
Awesome adventure
Great tracking skills & team work! We watch Alex too. Dji care refresh would have replaced your digital bird, but not as fast as buying a new one or back in your hands whilst on your travels. Glad you were reunited. Go forth safely...
The professional in your snow shoes and floatation suit 😂 epic adventure your on mate, you will never forget it, great memories for when your old and knackered like me 😊
Get in contact with dji.. regarding warranty refund etc.. shouldn’t have failed…
Aaww, that's fantastic. Glad you got your drone back AND even got it working again. Well done! 😊
Epic footage
A very entertaining adventure! I'm glad to see you met up with Alex.
Great video ad.
Epic drone hunt !!
This was a good mission, but nothing will ever beat the search for your niece's lamb!
Just gets better loving it and keep going
I used the logs to find my mavic 3. First time I flew it on new years day. Spent an hour looking for it a mile away at last location. Just as dusk set in and i thought I'd never find it. I looked down and there it was... 😅
On the drone front, if you contact DJI and they get the flight data, they are known to cough up for a replacement 😊
What can I say but Brilliant, well done to both of you and hey! Great drone footage indeed; glad we got to watch it 👍🐕🚐👊
That was class, I thought there's no way u will find it! Great episode!
Lucky there with the drone mate well done
I love a happy ending! Congratulations!!
great rescue of the digital bird!
That... was International Rescue 😁👍
Great video bud. Your sooooo lucky you found that drone lol
I had -4 degrees in my defender 1 week ago in Les Menuires ☠️ took me two days to recover 😅
Great videos man!
Brilliant video mate just can't believe you found it ,must admit I thought it was a fools errand. Well done to you both.
Great video and loved the adventure to find your lost drone. Glad you found it
Brought over here by @alexfrood but great video and great to see you recover your kit. Have now subscribed in order to see more of that drone footage!
Best show , we'll done , I'm thinking drones might not like extreme cold
Ads-solutely amazing episode! Thanks for sharing that with you!
Adz found the digital bird’s black box! It was in his hand all along!
It was an invisible box!
Amazing well done. Great vid as always, but the adventure up the mountain was above and beyond.
Blimey , that was gripping stuff !! 😆🌞
If you haven’t done so in the past, before you fly do a compass calibration every time you travel to a new location.
Nice one Adz, glad to see that Alex came with you and you got the drone back.
Thanks as always mate!
Alex that guy is a legend
Love your videos mate, ive been looking forward to part 5. Well done on your rescue mission! Roll on part 6!! 👍🏻

i wish they'd give you a bigger alg... best van lfe youtuber easily my goat📈 hope you're keeping well mate!
Not sure how you did that climb but even more amazing is to find the drone on a mountain. Waiting the extra time was worth it. Good work. Definitely an epic adventure.
Thank you! And yeah I do t actually think I would’ve made it if I’d done that on my own!
