I also like that they didn’t add the hair as a Diable item. I personally really like how we can customize everything except that. Keeps me feeling like we’re all connected no matter how high leveled or new you are. Just a cute thing.
Im hoping TGC doesn't gatekeep the dyeing mechanics in some absurd way. In a way, i see it as a way to not only customize our cosmetics but also be able to express ourselves a bit more
I imagine it'll be normal candles, or more likely, ascended candles. I'm hoping it'll be like the resize spells, 10 ac for 3 of a dye. Gives Eden/crystals a bit more use, and makes ac less useless after you've bought everything you can with them.

This Season is gonna make ALL outfits seem so much more Cooler, Instead of everyone having the same coloured clothes.. They can actually Customize stuff.. I know im just stating facts, but like.. That is gonna open up Trillions of more Combinations.. I just hope the Farming Process of these dyes isnt too too bad. I LOVE this so far tho! Cannot wait!
I'm hoping that collecting dye is doable with different activities instead of buying them by candles. But I do also hope that candles become an option for getting them.
I hope it's something we can easily do alongside candle running :) Like, not an additional task like a quest but if darkness would sometimes just give us a dye or free a butterfly as we're doing our normal candle run that would be so cool

During beta testing for days of prophecy, the anubis halo would change colors with your outfit. TGC said it was a bug and corrected it (to everyones dismay). They said they wanted to bring the changing colors back as a real feature. After 4 years ITS HERE but we cant dye the halo!!? Im still very excited but also a little sad 😂. I wonder if anyone else remembers this

What would make me happier with the rose is if they finally made it a face accessory. Like... They did glasses, elder masks, the default spirit masks even... But not what is, to me, the most obvious and simple choice possible; The rose mask. It's stickytaped to a default mask after all, it cannot be harder than the other stuff to seperate.🌚
Really hope dye collecting is added to our daily routine sort to say. Like dye runs XD. Or could be a reward for doing a specific daily quest every day. Really excited to see how TGC does this.
Oh my God! I submitted this idea to TGC. However, my idea was that at the end of the season you get to generate a cape that you designed unique to yourself and it stays like that in your closet forever. I asked that we can pick out our cape shape and colors, even gradients if we wanted it that way. I'm curious what the ultimate gift will be.
I have hopes that they will evolve this mechanic with time, they are making it basic for now, but maybe one day we will have gradients. I think it's best it's simple at the start so they can test everything well. Can't wait to find out which bugs will come with this 😂
The dye feature will broaden our potential to mix and match so much! I hope they add the ability to dye hair styles with ties in them like on the tumbling trouble maker, mellow musician and light whisperer. Not the hair itself, just the built in accessories.

I know it was just a small part, but the color transferring from butterfly to the skykid reminded me of Miraculous Ladybug. So when it happened and the butterfly flew away, all i heard was "bye-bye little butterfly." xD
hmm coming from how customisable cosmetics are in something like warframe - i feel like the dyes in this are definitely a great start for customising stuff and sticking to sort of 'pre-determined' pallettes. that way nothing is too outlandish (ha) but it is exciting to see early beta stuff, hopefully they expand more of the dyeable parts of each item as the devs work their butts off on the season. really looking forward to it! (and telling all my sometimes-on friends, LMAO)
It has to be hard af "recoding" the old clothes to be able to change tint, and probably a hellhole of unexpected possible bugs. I hope they still work on all the existing clothes, it's gonna be so much fun to be able to customize like that. Now they only need a flip function for asymmetric cosmetics and we're on 💅🏻
I love it but at the same time i'm overwhelmed by all the changes, knowing i will be making outfits for a very long time because i'm an extreme perfectionist. I kind of used to like the simplicity of sky and now so many things are changing. Idk is it just me that gets overwhelmed by this? 😅 i feel like sky is changing into a different game while i liked how it was. I don't want my favourite relaxing game to change into a game where I will probably take hours to make an outfit i like and not even being able to save the outfit and change back to it. If they can give us a way to save outfits then i'm fine with it.
This solves a big problem of mine when it comes to matching outfits. I'll try to match an outfit based on colour, but one blue cosmetic doesn't fully match another cosmetic's blue colour, and the outfit feels off. Being able to dye them a specific colour makes the colour "match up" better. Edit: I'll probably end up dyeing most of my cosmetics a specific colour theme just to make outfits easier 😅

It always felt like dyeable outfits was one of those dream features that'd never come to exist due to game limitations or how much work it'd be to make aaaall those cosmetics dyeable... I'm really happy it's ACTUALLY REAL! AAAAAAAAAA!
Hope they would add more options to dye the main parts of the capes, only being able to dye the small strip part of the cape is almost unnoticable and not very exciting nor does sound worth the effort to collect dye packs. The color customization was really needed for this game though, can't wait!
hopefully they'll make more parts of the outfits dyeable in the future, cuz now when buying cosmetics you'll also have to consider what part of it is actually dyeable and what would look good on it

Omg Nasty this is so amazing, you know what I was planning to suggest to TGC putting color options on the capes of the the skykids to lessen the items scrolling up and down so one cape will have color variants to minimize the items but this coming season is much more than what i am planning to suggest so amazing 😍😍😍 I’ve been playing this game for almost 5 yrs and I’m not missing anything.. i really love this.. and each season coming is getting better because there are so many purpose like the nesting its amazing.. thank you TGC ❤️
I just hope the "colored light collection" is not gonna be tedious. Feels like there could be so many ways it can be integrated, beside dark plants and butterflies, maybe enchantment lights could be another way? Maybe a little daily rotation to capture it. I should write them a feedback note!!! Hopefully this mechanic will also evolve over time, for even more personalization. More parts in some old cosmetics, an "auto matching color" sort of function? Its gotta be hell to code in tho 😅 I also wish they add a "flip" function to asymmetric cosmetics, so you can further personalize your style. I wanted to use the witch hair with the dark plant mask or the cry mask but the hair is on the same side and didn't work well😢

Omg at this point give finally a Egyptian lore season ( Anubis and now this kinda resemblance of hathor mask ) this would fit sky so much imagine a sand dessert ( journey like moving mystery glittering sand all map only hidden in a sand storm fog a dessert oasis with a temple and water that leads into a cave with new trials) I described this since 2020 ( After prophecy because Anubis was the first seasons made lost to spend money for a season that much I was into it) several times as suggestion the official discord server I hope one day we get such ❤
this is honestly such a gamechanger for the whole cosmetic and outfit fitting, just, man, dye almost any item and change its vibe completely! hell yeah!!
I have some theories, maybe this color picking system will be done daily, like daily cake, daily quest, and now daily color run will be added (only temporary naming) so every day there will be 1 or 2 colors that will appear on 1 map and we will take it and burn the darkness plant like when we do candle run as seen in the quest. so we have additional activities besides doing candle run and daily quest, we will get daily color run every day. and some examples such as Monday red and yellow are in praire, then the next day green and blue are in hidden forest, then orange and white are in valley of trumph then black and dark green are in golden wasteland, and pink and purple are in vault of knowledge (just an estimate) also seen in the video there are about 8? I forgot how many color pots there are but I think around 8 or more. okay that's all
I really hope getting the currency to get the dyes won’t be tedious. There’s so many ideas with the dyes that having to farm the dyes feels just as insufferable as going on an Eden run.
This season gives me vibes of gratitude, and enhancement of how beautiful this small peak of the season is, what makes me excited about this season is you can dye which is the reason i'm going to buy the season pass. I can't wait for this Season of Radiance to arrive in Sky Live

This is a dream come true! I’d love for accessories to be customizable too but I understand that you can only dye cloths- so I hope we’ll be able to dye scarves! That would be awesome But still, I’m happy as it is, this is great!!
is anyone else like... really disappointed with this season? I dont mind the idea, the cosmetics are cute and the quests are decent enough, but I'm really sick of all these Aviary seasons. I don't care for the area at all, it feels completely out of place in the sky world, too crowded and busy. I don't like being forced to be there in order to complete seasons. They gave the option to swap homes so we won't have to be there, but then so many seasons are there and adding stuff I don't care at all about. As someone who's been playing for a few years now, I don't feel so pressed about cosmetics anymore, I want to play and enjoy the world of the game. It feels like the scope of the world has narrowed almost exclusively to the Aviary, that's the only place they add anything new. I was really looking forward to a lore based season again, but it feels like tgc is making a completely different game than it used to be. Everything is being modernized and crowded and populated. Where's the quiet atmosphere and connection to nature?? I don't want to attend any more "parties." Sorry to leave a bummer comment. I'm really disappointed.
I really, really want to dye my rabbit mask. I wore it since i bought it at the start of the year, but it's difficult to combine it with other pieces. Can't wait for this season.
I think my big question is does dying a piece create a unique duplicate or does it replace the original? Because I'd love to dye some of my outfits but I'd hate to give up the original versions :(
I have seen that people have the option to choose undyed/dyed in their closet :) I didn't get far enough into testing it myself as I have no dye haha. I'll probably make a video on the 2nd quest tomorrow and go over it~
Being able to dye clothes has been a wish of mine for years. The fact that there are multiple color regions and you can mix colors goes beyond my expectations! I am a little sad that there are parts we cant dye though
I’m a little nervous about the dye system since it can result in grind and choice paralysis lol. It would be neat if items had ‘alternate’ versions as opposed to entire color combos. I know it sounds weird to have such a thing as too much customization, could just be a me issue

Omg Nasty this is so amazing, you know what I was planning to suggest to TGC putting color options on the capes of the the skykids to lessen the items scrolling up and down so one cape will have color variants to minimize the items but this coming season is much more than what i am planning to suggest so amazing 😍😍😍 I’ve been playing this game for almost 5 yrs and I’m not missing anything.. i really love this.. and each season coming is getting better because there are so many purpose like the nesting its amazing.. thank you TGC ❤️
Maybe mold associates red with evil because of the red hail in eden. Torturing all our poor sky kids!
I just hope the "colored light collection" is not gonna be tedious. Feels like there could be so many ways it can be integrated, beside dark plants and butterflies, maybe enchantment lights could be another way? Maybe a little daily rotation to capture it. I should write them a feedback note!!!
Hopefully this mechanic will also evolve over time, for even more personalization. More parts in some old cosmetics, an "auto matching color" sort of function? Its gotta be hell to code in tho 😅
I also wish they add a "flip" function to asymmetric cosmetics, so you can further personalize your style. I wanted to use the witch hair with the dark plant mask or the cry mask but the hair is on the same side and didn't work well😢
I'm a fashion nut. I love mix and matching. Dyes are going to open whole new avenues to customize looks and I am loving it!

Omg at this point give finally a Egyptian lore season ( Anubis and now this kinda resemblance of hathor mask ) this would fit sky so much imagine a sand dessert ( journey like moving mystery glittering sand all map only hidden in a sand storm fog a dessert oasis with a temple and water that leads into a cave with new trials) I described this since 2020 ( After prophecy because Anubis was the first seasons made lost to spend money for a season that much I was into it) several times as suggestion the official discord server I hope one day we get such ❤

I have some theories, maybe this color picking system will be done daily, like daily cake, daily quest, and now daily color run will be added (only temporary naming) so every day there will be 1 or 2 colors that will appear on 1 map and we will take it and burn the darkness plant like when we do candle run as seen in the quest. so we have additional activities besides doing candle run and daily quest, we will get daily color run every day. and some examples such as Monday red and yellow are in praire, then the next day green and blue are in hidden forest, then orange and white are in valley of trumph then black and dark green are in golden wasteland, and pink and purple are in vault of knowledge (just an estimate) also seen in the video there are about 8? I forgot how many color pots there are but I think around 8 or more. okay that's all

I really hope getting the currency to get the dyes won’t be tedious. There’s so many ideas with the dyes that having to farm the dyes feels just as insufferable as going on an Eden run.
This season gives me vibes of gratitude, and enhancement of how beautiful this small peak of the season is, what makes me excited about this season is you can dye which is the reason i'm going to buy the season pass. I can't wait for this Season of Radiance to arrive in Sky Live

is anyone else like... really disappointed with this season? I dont mind the idea, the cosmetics are cute and the quests are decent enough, but I'm really sick of all these Aviary seasons. I don't care for the area at all, it feels completely out of place in the sky world, too crowded and busy. I don't like being forced to be there in order to complete seasons. They gave the option to swap homes so we won't have to be there, but then so many seasons are there and adding stuff I don't care at all about. As someone who's been playing for a few years now, I don't feel so pressed about cosmetics anymore, I want to play and enjoy the world of the game. It feels like the scope of the world has narrowed almost exclusively to the Aviary, that's the only place they add anything new. I was really looking forward to a lore based season again, but it feels like tgc is making a completely different game than it used to be. Everything is being modernized and crowded and populated. Where's the quiet atmosphere and connection to nature?? I don't want to attend any more "parties." Sorry to leave a bummer comment. I'm really disappointed.

I think my big question is does dying a piece create a unique duplicate or does it replace the original? Because I'd love to dye some of my outfits but I'd hate to give up the original versions :(
I have seen that people have the option to choose undyed/dyed in their closet :) I didn't get far enough into testing it myself as I have no dye haha. I'll probably make a video on the 2nd quest tomorrow and go over it~

Being able to dye clothes has been a wish of mine for years. The fact that there are multiple color regions and you can mix colors goes beyond my expectations!

I’m a little nervous about the dye system since it can result in grind and choice paralysis lol. It would be neat if items had ‘alternate’ versions as opposed to entire color combos.
I know it sounds weird to have such a thing as too much customization, could just be a me issue
