Lore of Everquest: The Creation of Norrath - Part 1

This creation story is a combination of the Beta Lore and the Official EQ Lore which can be found here everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki... & web.archive.org/web/201604130... . In most cases I went with the BETA Lore as the story it tells more closely matches that of the world of EQ that we as the players experience, it also does a better job of explaining some things that the "official" lore does not cover. The "official" EQ lore pages are no longer available outside of The Wayback Machine so I am unsure if they are even considered canon anymore by the current owners of Everquest..
This ALSO ignores all retcons provided from Seeds of Destruction and beyond content.

Once a year I pray to Innoruk for new lore videos about EQ. I have been a loyal Tier'dal and have been rewarded.
I remember reading the Lore of this game so long ago. Had some good time exploring Norrath and the planes of power. Very good times

Love the videos man. I wish they had more lore. So many questions and blank spots in the history of Norrath.
Like people adventuring out and never returning, like, what happened to them? And even the information leading up to the event is very bland.

Yeah this is a reupload. I wanted to add subtitles and clean up a few audio issues. The next NEW video should be coming in the following week as the hard part is done.

So isn't there an imbalance of good to evil gods? I counted 5 to 4
@@bmraiche Really Depends how you, and the writers at the time, view them. I believe the intention was there were 4 "Good" gods (Tunare, Mithaniel, Erollosi, and Rodcet), and 4 "Evil" Deities (Rallos, Cazic, Innoruuk, and Bertoxx) with some of them being obvious opposites to each other. There isn't really a direct evil opposite to Tunare, Quellious representing tranquility is much more fitting opposite to Rallos (War) so it would seem there IS an imbalance except that I would argue tranquility falls more under neutrality.
The picture represention I made was more of where I see the deities falling in the Good Evil alignment system. You could certainly argue that Solusek Ro is Evil but I think he is intended to be more neutral, aside from that time he decided to incinerate an entire empire of elves.

@@Michael-uo4jj 989 Studios, in 1999. Which became Verant Interactive, then the game was ran by Sony Online Entertainment, and then SOE was acquired by Daybreak Games.
