Billy imho is the most interesting musician ive ever heard speak. Dude may come off as an ass sometimes but i dont believe thats the case at all. He is just on another level intellectually and emotionally that its hard for people to relate i think. Been a fan since Gish and will always be. AMM is the best SP record since Adore. SP are part of my life. Them and the Cure are the soundtrack to my life really and have gotten me through so much that i could never be able to thank Billy and Co or Robert and Co enough

corgans always been an interesting dude. deep. yet people fawn over the truly immature and shallow kurt cobain. cobain deserves his roses too but..

He was immature and shallow. He also deserves his praise.

He didn't get to live past 27. Are we really gonna demonize a 20 something dude 30 years later for being immature? Cobain and Corgan are great artists. Many have been turned off by Billy's narcissism and egotism all the up to now in his senior years. They're still innovative and talented, no need to put the dead guy down that didn't even get a chance to evolve for his flaws.

If Billy had died when Mellon Collie came out (he was 27), you'd be saying the same thing. People change and become kinder with experience
