HARIBO is a German owned candy manufacturing company founded by Hans Riegel near Bonn Germany in 1920. They make candy like gummy bears, etc. That big building is their first-ever North American production facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin started in 2017.
So the name of the company are the first two letters of the founder and the place where it got started HAns RIegel BOnn. Greetings from Bonn, Germany. Love your videos Steve, keep it up.
As a tech i can attest to the everlasting emission issues, i love when an old piece of iron comes in and leaves without a check engine light coming on. My favorite customer has a 1985 Mack DM 699S offset cab, boom tractor. Old econodyne 10L. Smokes something fierce but loyal AF.
There doesn't have to be traffic for people to do stupid things. Driving fast and not paying attention, maybe on the smartphone, and all of a sudden they are into a guard rail or jersey wall or into the back of someone else. Stay safe out there, Steve, and keep those videos coming.
@maruiacancerc How can you move in that direction if you died months ago? Wasn't hard to find out who the woman you stole your video from was. Quit scamming people out of their donations.
I owned & drove a '77 K100 for 5yrs. Great tractor. I drove a Ford 9000 from '78 to '80 it was loaded. Cummins 350, 13 speed, air ride was great, turn right cab goes left, left turn cab right lol etc... i pulled a 40' flatbed for a printing equipment company in Chicago, where i lived.
I was helping my friends dad work on his cab over about 45 year's ago as a stupid we were cutting and welding.abd for some reason I grabbed a hot piece of steel burned my palm bad but it healed no problem no affects from it got lucky.
It hurts to loose an old friend. That's something you'll thing about for years to come. But move forward you must, so do remember it is your preference that matters - not some other trucker or wannabe.
WOW, phantastic views, please do more of them, please if possible from underneath drivers cab floor, to open view on pedal segments activated by drivers feet and steering linkage....would be awesome...
One thing is for certain that 660 rides way nicer than Orwell but then it should it’s a conventional. Plus hardly no noise from outside or the engine or the transmission. Don’t get me wrong I like Orwell. That 660 looks like it handles really well also. Nice open highway your on. Thanks for posting FSC. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring…
At 10:44, Haribo is a candy Co. Famous for Gummy-Bears. etc.. That KW rig is messed up (On camera) looks like it's shaking like driving on a dirt road and sounds like it's missing a cylinder. And I thought that rig would be smooth as silk and quiet...and gutless...
Yeah! And he'd absolutely LOVE the power too! The late-model Sancia V8's come with factory power ratings from around 400hp, all the way up to 770 hp in the latest versions, all from the same engine.
Love your vids and all the camera angles - your hard work is appreciated. To me your videos are entertaining whatever truck you're in. Hello from cold wet England.
Haribo machts Kinder fröh. They're a German manufacturer of candy, mostly know here for winegum "Gummibärchen". The name stands for Hans Riegel, Bonn. The founder and his hometown.
The top speed in England for articulated lorries is 60 mph (semi) in USA, but the government decided to restrict the lorries to 56mph on the motorway ( hi way ) in the USA.
Semis push a big hole thru the air.. and that means beside them there's a big wind current and a lower pressure area right next to the semi.. a car coming up beside the semi would have the wind current on it's side away from the semi and the lower pressure on the side next to the semi.. so it would drift towards the semi a bit if the driver isn't paying attention.
Freightliner are only made for pulling light loads. I been driving !y late dad's Kenworth since I was legal age. And like a year ago I brought a 2010 KW and it's nice and the bed folds down and we can fold it up and sit down and play cards or dominoes. Or just sit down and watch movies on our TV that's mounted near the sunroofs. We always have driver's have extra starter's and alternator's in case they break down a long way's from the company. They always take care of the trucks like there's. Amdnthey can buy them and fix them up the way they want to.
Question: When you have to borrow a truck from the company, is there a lot of paperwork you have to do or is it just sign something, grab the keys, pretrip and go?
Have to be in really good standing You have to realize Steve has basically established himself where the owner pretty much consider some very trustworthy he's not going to screw them over or do something stupid. It doesn't always work like that no To look at your contract to see a lot of times when an owner operator truck goes down they have to rent one
I live in indiana and we don't have a lot of restrictions on semi trucks. You can run at night with an oversize load and the cops aren't hard on truckers cause the cops know that's how we make our living.
I thought that was you. I saw you at the big Kwik Trip in Kenosha. I was the goodin’ in the grey peterbilt in the background heading to the trash can trying to keep out of you camera shot.
Next time you accidentally burn yourself pending on the burn...aloe Vera is very good to help the burn...then apply Curoxen..is a much better than Neosporin
Gonnah be some drivers available now with YELLOW goin bellyup ! LOL, you wear gloves whenever you chain down a load but not when using a torch ! Did you have the tranny in neutral ! Cause why would it strip right at that moment ? Like "Easy Rider" man.
Lol...the great state of South Carolina has blocked one lane for fifteen miles or more just to work in ONE spot, and put the state flower so close to the centerline they're next to impossible to avoid.
I see the T660 has a #GreenAPU. Are you still doing papre logs or an ELD for this run. Stay safe Steve. BTW since I have Amazon Prime I was watching White Line Fever again for the 1 billionth time.
With what is going on with mechanics and prices. I was tripping the engine code on my 2020 F150. I put oil catch cans on it. The PVC values dump oil straight into the turbos. Yet. What I did. I bought a code reader. Where after I fixed it. I erased the code off the truck. Yet. I didn't get a cheap one. It does about everything. A handy tool on the tech equipment. It doesn't leave you guessing.
Sharp company truck, I hope they find a good driver. Stay safe, hope Orwell recovers.
HARIBo believe it’s gummy candy. Things you know when you have kids
Well known maker of sweets in the UK ... originates from Germany in 1920
Haribo gummy bears! Who needs kids, I eat them myself! Loves has them BOGO right now...
Haribo Happy Cola
Haribo are nasty.

Haribo makes the "Gummy Bears" and the rest of the Gummy products.
At least the KW had a GreenAPU on it.

Was thinking a tire blowout and over correction/panic could have been another possible cause.
@@erikwilliam1254 That is a possibility.
No stack talk, I miss Orwell already 😅
@maruiacancerc How can you move in that direction if you died months ago? Wasn't hard to find out who the woman you stole your video from was. Quit scamming people out of their donations.
Really like the red flags on the grill what a professional
Nice ride but no Orwell for sure.✌
At least it's manual
enjoy the trucking vids. Looking forward to all the future Cab over content
the ride should be better than the cab over
I owned & drove a '77 K100 for 5yrs.
Steve that just goes to show you not scared of work.
I love Kenworth T660, one of my fave’s
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
Love the KW, keep the shiny side up.
Best wishes from the far North.
I drove a 1975 cab over, single axle Mack for UPS back in the days and even though the newer trucks are nice and comfortable I like Orwell better!
I was helping my friends dad work on his cab over about 45 year's ago as a stupid we were cutting and welding.abd for some reason I grabbed a hot piece of steel burned my palm bad but it healed no problem no affects from it got lucky.
Actually Steve, it’s really cool that you’re running different semi trucks and changes it up a bit I like it
Haribo makes candy, ironically I just noticed them today in my ShopRite 😁
The cab over I like is the Freightliner Argosy’s
Steve yea get a tattoo on the shifter arm to cover that scar

Coronado my favorite truck
Steve: You look good in this truck - I almost say it's better than in the CAB-OVER
It suits you
🤣🤣🤣
Ohh, How i do miss driving like that.

Plus it has all matching drive wheels.
Sure seems to shake a lot.
Kenworths tend to be taller so they shake more.
I drove a 14 660 aerodyne and I liked it but it rode hard and I drove 362s and they didn’t ride that bad so there you have it 🤷♂️
I like the looks of that KW but i still like Orwell better. Be safe out there and hope your hand heals ok. Take care brother.
I could tell it was a Cummins, it sounds like a coffee grinder!
I think Steve should find himself an old Scania 142H with a V8 engine, he'd love that I'm sure. And that sound...
Yeah! And he'd absolutely LOVE the power too! The late-model Sancia V8's come with factory power ratings from around 400hp, all the way up to 770 hp in the latest versions, all from the same engine.
& ur absolutely 💯 correct & there ain't nothing like yur ORWELL
Them flag’s would make me lose my mind ! Not that it’s much to lose
08:25 Holy moly, this truck is vibrating... (and as all the down-nose-trucks - it is still looking 'getting-used-to'. I will never get used to that).
That rattle would drive me insane.
Hey Hero, hold that big large car between the ditches.😂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm starting too thank Robots, when they don't play up, in the supermarket checkout
Nice truck Steve...
Love that T660

Put on heavy duty farm tractor clutch in it should be a lot stronger and last longer
I drove a KW 800, Loved that truck, and yes a much better truck over the FRTSHKER.
Noticed the old Allstate building complex being demolished on 94. I live southwest of that area near Schaumburg. Was up that way a few weeks ago.
Haribo is a large candy company. They make like these gummies for the kids.
Freightliner are only made for pulling light loads. I been driving !y late dad's Kenworth since I was legal age. KW HAS A NICE CAB
Oldies are always goodies
Steve that could be the HARIBO CANDY CO.
It is. HAns RIegel BOnn - a german brand founded by Hans Riegel in Bonn at the river Rhine in December 1920.
I live in indiana and we don't have a lot of restrictions on semi trucks. You can run at night with an oversize load and the cops aren't hard on truckers cause the cops know that's how we make our living.
Maislin ran those CL9000s but they weren’t air ride and don’t know how they rode
Haribo, over here in Europe is a candy manufacturer
I gotta tell you you look comfortable in that kw
Haribo gummy bear manufacturing Pleasant, Prairie WI was that big building
did that with a plaz hurt like you know what
I thought that was you. I saw you at the big Kwik Trip in Kenosha. I was the goodin’ in the grey peterbilt in the background heading to the trash can trying to keep out of you camera shot.
steve thats how it goes we trade men always have the mark on iur body i am a welder so u know how much burn mark i have to show
My grandfather was a welder and had many burnt or missing finger nails.
Awesome
THAT TRUCK VIBRATES A LOT. PUT ALOE VERA GEL. GOT TO BE THE GEL DRINK SOME OF IT TOO.
Notice the NFI, if they ride in the right lane they’ll fall off the highway 😅
Pretty soon all states are gonna be like california with the emissions and gonna have to run with newer trucks.
Next time you accidentally burn yourself pending on the burn...aloe Vera is very good to help the burn...then apply Curoxen..is a much better than Neosporin
So difficult to see you driving anything but Orwell!
Du you have a terribly unbalanced or out of round tyre on the 660?
That truck looks like it has a bad case of the shakes !
Think it's the steer tires out of balance.
Truck #2 let's try it again.. Be kareful out there Brother 😎😎💯
Truck #3 1st Orwell, 2nd Freightshaker, 3rd Kenworth!
Gonnah be some drivers available now with YELLOW goin bellyup !
LOL, you wear gloves whenever you chain down a load but not when using a torch !
Did you have the tranny in neutral ! Cause why would it strip right at that moment ?
Like "Easy Rider" man.
Great video Steve!
HARIBO is a German Company! Famous for there sweat stuff like "Gummibärchen" (gummi baer)
Haribo makes candies. They're European but have been entering the North American market for a number of yeas now.
I liked taking US30 vs the toll road in Ohio, could catch a glimpse of Lake Erie every now and they 😂
7:36. I heard that. 😁
I love you video's there so much fun i like orwell
hey your gonna be 45 min from me have a safe trip fella
the kenworth is very nice but i hope orwell gets well soon
Good job steve
If you ever get the chance to get another truck besides the three cabovers you have now, maybe acquire a 1990s Kenworth T600A.
I like kenworth
Lol...the great state of South Carolina has blocked one lane for fifteen miles or more just to work in ONE spot, and put the state flower so close to the centerline they're next to impossible to avoid.
Man, Sorry to hear about Orwell, but If you know what it is, you have a solution!
Nice KW Steve, but where are the stacks at on it 🤔,I've never seen a rig without stacks bfore
I like that ... he forgot where California is ... at least when it comes to trucks !!!!!!
Are u going to bring out back orwell, for the record!
Tnx for a great video.
Good stuff again what HP is WK Model Steve
Haribo is candy.
What is that rattling noise inside of the t660?
I see the T660 has a #GreenAPU. Are you still doing papre logs or an ELD for this run.
Stay safe Steve. BTW since I have Amazon Prime I was watching White Line Fever again for the 1 billionth time.
At least as a grass burner it has three pedals!!!
Do they have you do E-logs when you have to borrow a newer truck. I know you usually do paper logs.
Nice looking kw hows the ride

Does that truck have a lot of vibration? It seems to have much more than Orwell. I think the Haribo makes gummie bears.
So how do you like the KW
RIP Orwell
And before you got on the highway to right was Mars Cheese Castle they sell different weird things
