Your friend's clip for the hunter is really triggering me that he destroys the stasis crystals and never throws a withering blade at a crystal to see the effect in action
Bro, i believe the dude on the hunter clip made an oath that he shall never under any circumstances throw a withering blade to either a frozen enemie or a stasis crystal, and therefore is unable to show how the exotic works.
I like Warlocks having a "Hunker Down" defensive option now, it's something I've always felt like they were missing. It's not strong enough to creep into Titan defense territory, but I still really like it

I think it is gonna be a really cool exotic in pvp, create some cover with the turret and apply slow with each weapon hit while near turret, not to mention enhanced turret as well
I started playing Destiny 2 in September of 2020, about 2 months before Beyond Light came out. BL was my first expansion that I got in at the ground level on. I loved Stasis and still have a soft spot for it all these years later. I'm glad to see it getting some love in Revenant.
i've been maining revenant for almost a year now, ever since verglas curve came out. mask of fealty is probably gonna end up replacing renewal grasps for me, i'm very excited to try it out!

They can also use no time to explain and get 10 headshots to have a time warp active at the same time. I'm not sure what the seventh buddy the original comment was talking about but thats 6 of them
REAL shame we didnt get any good hunter exotic footage. im really interested in if the individual withering blades spawned by a blade swarm can also trigger more blade swarms. seems like the potential for chain reaction kills is incredibly high there.
Ya the lost sector gameplay sorta sucked due to the low ceilings and all the geometry present. Was hoping to see the crystal pattern in a more open area.
Glad to see Bungie willing to show off the goods early. Regardless of whether or not they make a splash, it keeps with the routine of TFS where they at least have confidence in their product. Wasn't sure if it was going to only be an expansion-level thing they wanted to tease or if they would ever do it again.
It was hard to see what it did when he was running that lost sector with low ceilings and lots of "junk" in the way. Wished he'd show it used in a more open area tbh.
probably just prerelease weirdness and things not fully ironed out. im sure theyre probably doing some tweaks on the robe appearance so they just threw a second model in overlaying the original so it looks acceptable for early playtests.

The thing with the titam exotic is that it would replace synthoceps. Synthos on consecrate is peak titan, so i see why they made consecrate break stasis crystals, but i dont see it beating hoil/synthos at any point

As a Stasis Hunter enjoyer, their new exotic is exactly what I wanted; refund melee energy on hits, juice the melee. Would work beautifully if there was a “Spirit of Fealty” paired with Hoil or Cyrtarachne
Osiomancy has been great for flexibility especially paired with a headstone demo weapon. Coldsnaps for instant freeze and turrets for area control. Pair it with Tessellation for high damage in your back pocket.
As a warlock, I would love to play Stasis with something else than Bleakwatcher. I can, but it's shoved down our throats every fucking time. I wished I was allowed to benefit from the other 2 grenades, like Strand Warlock does thanks to Mindspun Invocation, but oh boy, here I go crafting another Stasis turret build!

As a hunter main i always wanted a shuriken build but it was never possible on stasis this exotic looks neat hopefully it's good enough to be usable in high end content
I'm so happy at how the hunter armor looks. Looks awesome. The effects looks awesome. We were cheated out of a stasis exotic when lightfall came how (oh but we can't forget about speedloaders slacks (: ) so I'll accept finally having a way to buff one of my favourite melee abilities.
Look straight up, the Titan exotic is just fun and that’s what y’all been asking for. Getting to play the game in a different way that isn’t just melee so go have fun, you’re already gonna be using grenade launcher and rockets anyway. It’ll be good in hard content
As a stasis bleak watcher enjoyer who doesnt even use getaway artists, this is a win for me. On pure stasis, you can get DR standing near crystals, shatter crystals for grenade regen, and maybe other things. That is good for me.
I already hope that Hunter helm gets buffed, the melee energy refunded is not nearly enough to compete with the likes of combo blow with exotic class items lmao
I mean combination blow and this exotic have very different uses. The combination blow build is very bad outside of solo content since people can easily steal the kills you need to keep the build going. This is great for team environments to just cc everything from a distance with your melee
Man I wish that I could be more excited about the armor exotics. But BUNGIE STASIS AS A SUBCLASS IS WEAK, stop giving it buffs via artifacts or events when you should just buff it to match the better subclasses: strand solar titan, solar warlock, arc solar hunter.
Titan exotic better have a huge resist. As long as the stasis crystals continue to have a delay and very small freeze radius, it’s going to be useless because you can’t put yourself in the middle of everything.
Don't think it was mentioned but the new exotic GL synergizes with the Titan armor in that the vestiges of alchemy also refill the bar for the exotic armor perk. Pretty neat
this doesn't matter to anyone but me, but we finally got another Precision Sidearm and I'm hyped. Small L that technically its not craftable but it'll be enhance-able and that's for me. The Hunter Helmet is definitely interesting, literally last night I was redo-ing my builds and got stuck at the Renewal v. Bakris crossroads because I'm not really jazzed abt either exotic build. It seems like being melee focused the new helmet will have a better uptime than the current options.
Interested to see how the Titan exotic compares to Horfrost, they both seem to be just about creating more crystals, but it does seem fun. Hopefully I dont jump backwards off a cliff too often.

Titan exotic kinda looks like it blows unlucky. But the hunter one also kinda looks bad too, funny part is all the hunter one needs is to grant another melee charge to bring it to 3 and they would likely have some use.

The new stasis exotic armor and artifacts aren’t good enough to make the subclass itself cracked like the others. A lot of the abilities and aspects still need buffs or reworks. My ideas: 1. Howl of The Storm Aspect is like a stasis version of Consecration 2. Frost Pulse Aspect is like a stasis version of Vesper so it will emit pulses that freeze enemies 2. Shards don’t require a fragment to track the player, it’s intrinsic 3. Shards don’t require Aspects or Fragments to be created, can be created by destroying Stasis Crystals or killing Slowed and Frozen enemies. 4. Revert the nerf to Whisper of Bonds so killing frozen enemies grants Super Energy. 5. Increase the amount of DR per Frost Armor stack. 6. Rework one of the Fragments to where stasis ability or weapon kills extended the duration of Frost Armor
I'm calling it now. All of these Exotics are going to be too hard to get. Cryptarch ranks are gonna reset, and there isn't gonna be a Legend Campaign that will just give them to you.

I'm calling it now. All of these Exotics are going to be too hard to get. Cryptarch ranks are gonna reset, and there isn't gonna be a Legend Campaign that will just give them to you.
