respect, can you briefly explain to me. when is the best time to start from the parking lot, where to sleep at what height, and when to go to the top in the morning. what time should it take from the parking lot to the camp and what time should it take from camo to the top. those information would mean a lot to me since I plan to visit the mountain next week. thank you very much. I enjoyed the video
Hi, we did it in one day. We started at 1:30am and finished it at 9:30pm. It took us 20 hours. I think you’re planning to do it overnight. In that case, you have more options. The best camp spot is before 9000ft and has water. Its about three miles from the trailhead. After that there is no water. Timing is different from person to person. It depends how fast you’re moving. There is no snow on the trail right now, so you will not be worried about slushy snow.
@@rayaanparsa thank you very much. I will see which side I will give this one, or the northern one. I have to think before I go. but you helped me a lot thank you very much.
Great job, and thanks for posting! At approximately what elevation does the climber's trail end and route finding begin (if at all)? Also, was there a significant amount of boulder scrambling? Thanks
Thank you! You can see the trail from the trailhead all the way to the summit. The only place where it might be a little bit harder to see the trail is above the UFO rock. Its about 200-300ft elevation. not really scrambling. It’s mostly scree. Good luck!

You’re welcome, Good luck!
We were a group of 5 hikers, and all of us made it to the top.
And you thought you would never do Clear Creek in one day! This is all I know on Shasta, and I would do it again unless you take me on another route.
Can a 2 wheel drive sedan make it to the trailhead?
@@Zane5804 the road condition changes all the time. I would recommend calling mt shasta ranger station for the road update.

@@rayaanparsa One more question for you- where did you obtain the map at the very beginning of the video?
I bought that map from fifth season store in Shasta City.
