Mt Shasta is very alluring. Took me 4 years after having my eyes on her to finally summit and accure all my mountaineering gears. Weather was PERFECT on the day I summit. Going up to the red bank was strenous. well documented video. I said i'm done w her but I dont know. We'll see.
2001, tried it, knew nothing. For knowing nothing (I wore a white cotton undershirt as a base layer), made it to top of red banks...should revisit, thanks for sharing!
Love that you wore your mountain biking shoes all the way to base camp. I liked this Shasta video a lot. It felt like an honest experience on the mountain. It was fun to watch!
Thanks so much for showing the way down, I kept wondering how on your way up and the answer was so much more entertaining than I guessed, cheers and good luck on your future adventures from a Norcal Neighbor!
What a well done video. I never rally how difficult and possibly treacherous Shasta is! It's certainly something you'd want to take seriously if you were going to trek to the summit. Good job!
Mount hood has giant concealed fumaroles everywhere and when it snows hard it covers them. Luckily for me someone else had fallen in it and I saw it just before nearly falling in. Doesn’t matter what size crevasse it is
Love how this was documented. I plan on summiting soon and was wondering if you're okay with me using the computer generated map shown in the beginning for my video?
hey man. nice video! what route did you take to redbanks? did you go to the left or right side of the heart? You didn't go through Konwakiton glacier, right?
Last time I hiked Mt Shasta, I was followed by what I can only describe as an "entity". It was terrifying and surreal. It only left after I started praying to God and begging to Jesus for it to leave me alone.

Thank you! We went to the right of the heart I believe.
Alpine start, always
What time of the year did you do this trek? We're doing the same towards the beginning of July.

@@ksdncakjnliagbvh That’s exactly what you should do. Blood of Jesus is ultimate protection!
what month or date did you climb it in? Thank you,
In what month you did climb?
June, you want to climb when there is still snow. Aug is a bit too late if there is just skree up there, its super loose and dangerous.
@@UNPAVEDTV how about middle September?
❤💯
Did u see any aliens or ghosts? Lol
60lb pack?!! geez
Why I can’t even imagine what might be in it?
If your ever in Minnesota. I have a backyard yard trail. Checkout 857frosty channel. Great videos
Sad when the sky should be beautiful blue yet in all the videos of Shasta the sky is blanketed in man made geoengineered haze wake up folks.
Stay away from the spring water full of aluminum.
