That’s exactly what happened to me. Glycolic acid was the first active I tried. It did wonders for my skin. People would ask me all the time what I was using. Then it just stopped working. It was meh so I stopped. But now I’m thinking about cycling it back in.
This was a great video. I love both salycylic acid and glycolic acid and now have a better idea on how to incorporate them into my routine. The Simple Science 2% salicylic acid has transformed my skin.

🌿 Glycolic acid therapeutic dose 5-15%. 🌿 Don't use Glycolic acid with retinol. 🌿 Use serums only 2-3x a week 🌿 you can use Glycolic acid with vitamin C (the latter needs acidic environment) 🌿 Always apply moisturizer afterwards. 🌿 Never forget sunscreen.
wow this is one of the best video shedding the light on the use of glycolic and salicylic acid. But i still have a query; i use the glycolic acid (Nacomi Sérum Peeling The Exfoliator - AHA + PHA 30% - ONCE A WEEK) and salicylic acid (Revox B77 Sérum Peeling à l'Acide Salicylique 2% - TWICE A WEEK) in serum formula. At this moment i use them on different days. I want to know if, I can first apply the Glycolic acid and rinse it after some time as recommended and can I use the salicylic acid right after? Or should I look for a product which has both the ingredients together. Ps i am a male 28, brown skin, amateur in skincare game.
That’s great, but how to use salicylic and glycolic acid together? Is it better to use glycolic on dry parts of the skin and salicylic on T-zone, or can you put both on the whole face one after another?
The first time I used salicylic acid my skin peeled like crazy. I could only use it once a week. I did develop a tolerance over time and I can use it once a day with no issues including peeling. So now I’m confused.
Glycolic acid can be used everyday, however, it depends on how strong the concentration is as well as your skin sensitivity. It's recommended to be used 2-3 times a week due to its exfoliating nature which may be irritating for some people's skin. It's all about preference and how sensitive your skin may be. We always recommend visiting a dermatologist so they can assess your skin and let you know what routine works best for your personal needs!
You answered all of my questions! Really appreciate this video and all of you contents! 🙏🏽

How to use both
Layer your serums on lightest to heaviest!
Thanks for knowledge, I get it!!

But other dermatologists say to use glycolic acid 2/3 times a week max. Not every day… so… 😅
