Minh Phuong Nguyen the storyline is BARELY different, and it really doesn’t show any diversity as an actor for them. Not a lot of big movie or tv show casting agents would look to cast them in anything that isn’t a rom com or teenage drama, I would assume anyways.

I was angry because they didn't take in account the poor guy's feelings. Like, it's HIS DAD who is cheating, if it was any other guy who he saw cheating with the girls mom it would be reasonable that she was mad. I was really angry that Griffin was the only one apologizing. Yes, he should have told her, but have his feelings in mind. Besides, as he said, his father made that dumb decision.

I love how poor Griffin was the one who was hurt finding out his Dad was cheating on his Mum, and I can understand Phoebe's issue with his lie of omission but... where was her support and understanding for him? and how this impacted his family?
Because Phoebe was upset that he knew and didn't tell her so they could deal with it together, as a couple should. Especially considering that it involved one of her parents too. I love that you draw attention to teenage media that portrays high school as the be-all-end-all. For me, I couldn't wait to leave high school and carve my own path. Adulthood has been 1000x more exciting and I agree, all of the silly drama and teenage woes like dating becoming INFINITELY easier as an adult. You couldn't pay me to go back to high school. Don't worry kids, adulthood is awesome if you make it that way.
Wholesale Ted the writers for this romcoms are all adults so they know that high school in retrospect is nothing compared to what you get to experience once you actually ARE a grownup (20/25 onward) but they do have to appeal to teens who are the audience, hence the usage of hot 20 yolds who act like being 16 is the MOST IMPORTANT MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE

What is the argument about? What circumstances brought these characters together? Depending on how the stories are executed, they could be wildly different.

Thinking about my high school experience now, ten years later, I remember that, although I wasn't the most unpopular kid in the school, I was stressed all the time thinking about what other people think about me. I dabbled in suicidal thoughts and managed to get out of that on my own, and so on.
In conclusion, I would most definitely not do it all over again. And, as Alex said, life does keep getting better after graduation.
For me, this is the best channel sub i have done in 2019.

Well she wanted NYU, living in NYC and paying tuition even with basic scholarships can cost you about $50k upwards of hundreds of thousands overall throwing in living expenses. You need really good scholarships, affordable housing and hope your college in the university is one of the cheaper ones. My winter classes at NYU were devasting blows to my pockets but state college the rest of the year helped.
