Back when this show was on air, people had much thicker skin. Nobody needed "Cancel Culture" because we were much more emotionally mature and capable of understanding humor, unlike people these days.

Wouldn't have been allowed on TV then either if the channel wasn't just getting started and trying to win an audience. TV was mostly insipid garbage before this era. In fact, practically nobody else bothered to learn from it, so TV mostly stayed insipid garbage for years later.

This one cut out the last part. It had Al telling Marcy, the next door neighbor, he came up with a list of 10 ways she could make herself more attractive for her 'movie star husband'. She said "Uh Oh" and he began. There is a longer clip out there. But, I guess because it has some cultural references that may really fly over peoples' heads today or really offend some cultures, this part was left out.

if you want to see this kind of insulting banter on newer shows i'd recommend letterkenny, its not that widely known outside canada but the puns, insults and anecdotes were funny as hell, they only recently cancelled the show because of perpetual scheduling conflicts, they now of have spinoff called "shoresy", i don't like it nearly as much though.

Amazing Fact.Al Bundy was played by Ed O'NEIL. He was an Athlete who was actually drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was cut by the organization. However he developed a relationship with Terry Bradshaw, Hall of Famer, Quarter Back. Bradshaw appears on 2 of Married With Children episodes. Lol. Get the echo fixed. 🤔🥴😑
