So it was a white insult to other whites that you still hear today in certain areas. To African Americans it sounded like honky, which I guess was considered funny and they started calling all Caucasians honkies. To say that someone is the honkiest of honkies means that they're REALLY white in every way.

I don't get what happened in the meantime to make him so terrible as a comedian. I believe this is 2010 stuff, pretty amusing... his 2021 Netflix special I watched I thought was awful. His 2024 Netflix special I switched off after less than 10 minutes.
