I enjoy it. Hell I’m going to an Alabama State and Jackson game in Nov. just to enjoy the bands. Alcorn isn’t coming this way. And I live in Atl. So I catch whoever I can now.

I hate how the director had The Satin Dolls positioned in the stands. They could have done so much more with the adequate amount of room. However, MVSU sounds great and I’m proud of their continued growth.
What happened to marching into a stadium with vigor,passion and 90% to a great marching Cadence? Your objective is to march in like you own the place and set the tone.. The dance team was the only ones who got it .
WISH THEY WOULD HAVE PLAYED SOME CANDENCE/KEPT SOME FORM THE CHIEF YEARS. NEED MORE ENGERGY COMING IN. Need be humping coming in. But they are progressing. Get some beats from the chief years current studentsl Feed back from alumni is always good. Crititism is always good also to get better. Another perspective

No one is trying to copy JSU, just because they have 5 drum majors. JSU was not the first school with 5 drum majors and they will not be the last. Before I seen JSU with 5 drum majors, Prairie View and FAMU had 5.
As coming from the uk, I don't understand why the marching bands are not multi race, I am not trying to be racist I just can't understand it, it would not be allowed in the uk in a collage or university band by law
Not sure if you are being serious or trolling, but if it is the former... This is a historically black college. Historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) were created to serve African Americans (or black people) during a period in US history where African Americans were legally prevented from going to other schools. After the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (just 60 years ago) African Americans could not be barred from attending predominantly white colleges and universities based on the color of their skin. Many HBCUs still exist and have never barred students with other skin colors from attending but for the most part people with other skin colors that could otherwise represent potential students, have preferred not to attend HBCUs. This is most likely because either there are too many black people at HBCUs and others would feel awkward being in the minority or they feel that they will get a better education elsewhere. It is not that people with other skin colors are excluded, it is that they tend not to go to HBCUs. Note that there are HBCU bands with people of other skin colors, but the numbers tend to be low. In the US informal division based on skin color continues to be one of the pillars of our society, unfortunately.
