you don't need to be a god to get SSS, when I first started out, my go to was "combo with one weapon, when combo ends switch to gun, shoot em a bit, while shooting, switch to new weapon, if far air trick to them, if close just start new combo with new weapon. rinse and repeat. EASY SSS, the main thing, is just dont get hit. DT can save your rank, if you know you're gonna get hit. and there's also I-frames on jump. Hope it helps.

U can use 2 times air dash if you have summoned swords. This is the reason why DT air dash is 3 time, its in fact 2 dashes, and the third dash is the summoned swords dash.
im surprised you didnt mention that you can chain ground trick as fast as you can do it to nearly instantly cross as large of as you need. i find its really useful for bosses that teleport away like cavalier
People need to stop complaining about one style being all that. If a player truly wants to be stylish, then they must master all styles. Trickster is not meant to be offensive, its suppose the give players the freedom to move and dance around the enemy in the taunting way, dante known for, same with royal guard, counter attack like a boss. So can people stop insulting trickster
I played on Human my first play though as this is my first DMC game and when I skipped to Son of Sparda I learned quick they trickster wasn’t gonna be a win button anymore, I’ve learned more and more to not use it just on its own, for example getting closer to enemies and switching quickly to sword master and slicing them up or dashing forward and switching to royal guard to use royal release

You forgot something ! The fact that you can dash in air 3 times and jump 4 times in devil triggers is because you're wearing the Dante sword, you guys should check one of its abilities, it is written in therer.

I think it's important to note that the ground trick can be chained, unlike air trick, which is especially useful for closing massive ground against a lot of bosses when they teleport or zoom across the arena and you want to close ground quickly
I think its for people to slowly digest which style is for what and what they can do with each style individually, you do the fancy stylist stuff once you grasp the concept of all 4 and mix and match them as you please
Swordmaster is my preferred style but ive learned that trickers teleportation mechanic makes it so much easier to chain combos especially when enemies are knocked away. I have both styles mapped to buttons to insta switch between them

another little trick i found is that you can chain ground trick so you can close distance you can even make it easier if you alternate Air trick - Ground Trick really fast making the inputs a lil easier because with ground trick you have to back forward left stick and adding air trick eliminates the need of doing back forward so fast
I would like to add that DT activates sword formation on DSD so that gives you the Reactor passive effect which allows an extra Trickster action. Normally DT only adds 1 extra but with DSD you get 2.
I bought DMC Devil May Cry when it came out and it was quite easy. That was also my first DMC game. When I got DMC5, I wasn't expecting it to have so many mechanics. Nero and V were easy to handle, but when I got to play with Dante, I was overwhelmed. He has too many things to change between and manage.
I prefer this style over RG. While RG is much harder to execute, it doesn't look as "Stylish" personally. Trickster on the other hand is a lot more flexible, it is just not about dodging but acrobatics as well. It simply looks a lot cooler to Sky Star away from an attack only to Air Trick back and continue your styling on the enemy.
The higher skill ceiling and insane damage is the appeal of RG. But realistically, if you're not weaving both styles into your playstyle, you're simply being inefficient and also less stylish.
Mattventures royal guard is for bosses, using it against normal enemies it’s almost always useless (except fury and some others), but I think you should use every style

It definitely is. Doesn't require strict timing, grants i-frames, allows you to warp, etc. whereas RG is more or less a glorified style farmer that rewards your timing by letting you chunk a boss for anywhere from 25 - 35% of their health bar.

The move at 9:20, keeping up in the air like that, I’m stuck what you do after you taunt, I launch them, teleport , hit a few times then taunt to get them higher but then trickster won’t keep going
i kept trying the teleport thing it didnt work i also finished the whole game and didnt get an option for it i know this is old but anyone who knows plz hlp

@@narutou203 11 months late but its not a glitch you have auto mode on, look in the top right conner of the screen and if you see the word Auto press and hold right stick for a few seconds and it will stop automaticly performing attacks

Air Trick is incredibly useful in my opinion

As good as these tutorials are, the best stylist can switch styles at a moments notice to maximize potential.

Probably you need to jump cancel. It resets all ur air moves

They should make all the styles in dante controls. It was nice at first. But now dante is the only one with disfunctional controls.
