You prolly dont care but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother recently :)
For those that don't know, this movie was filmed at the Eden Prairie Center in Eden Prairie, MN. Despite having been remodeled in the early 2000's, things like the elevator and loading bays (as seen in this clip) are still there today. The chase scene was filmed on the south end of the mall. You'd never know by looking at it today, this mall was a ghost mall back in the mid-late 90's which is likely why it made a great spot for Kevin to film his movie.
The “Brenda?” at 1:02 was hilarious at the time the movie came out because she (Shannon Doherty) was famous for playing one of the two leads on hit TV show “Beverly Hills 90210” as Brenda but wasn’t into it and left the show by her own choice the year before this film was made.
Today my mom and I were listening to Murph’s Movie Trivia and this scene played, and once I recognized it I knew we had to re-listen to this episode with my brother, as he and I are huge Kevin Smith fans.
Silent Bob can outrun security guards, and he also has his own Batman utility belt and working grapple gun, then one day later (the events of Clerks), him and Jay are normal, street-level junkies.
Random thoughts about this scene: At 0:18 T.S’s walk gets a laugh out of me. T.S’s, “Brody!,” at 2:02 gets a laugh out of me. After one of the other guitarists in my band class said, “Bring out the wah!,” while raising his arms, I said it reminded me of a moment in Mallrats and showed him 1:31 I’m just now realizing that LaFours is Silent Bob’s nemesis because he too is silent, but is much more nemesis-like.

@@thenerddirector Lol. Me and my best friend from Middle to High school called ourselves Jay and Silent Bob. Just cause we love they're movies so much. I was Jay and my friend was Silent Bob.
Idk but that Brenda line just seems like it was improved and that was for real. Please tell me that was for real because that would make it five times funnier.!!
The end is so funny... Every police officer should just look around the corner, and they can see that silent Bob and Jay are already gone... But those officers just keep running at that spot, and then realize there gone... haha
Out of all of Kevin Smith’s movies, the “Kneel before Zod” line is still my absolute favorite Jay moment.
Yes, the best. The rest is bad.
1:38✌️😆Snootchie bootchies! Hahahahahaha!
Silent Bob is the greatest wingman in history.

@Antonio Dominik yea, have been using Instaflixxer for since december myself :D
Until he killed he-man so the ladies could get more screen time
Yeah badass, Yeah!
Oh yeah, he’s the MVP of the View Askewniverse most of the time. I feel like Jay is the greatest hype-man.

Silent Bob is a legit superhero and no one ever realized how powerful he actually is
He is Bluntman, of course he is a superhero
Silent Bob is actually a creator of worlds clearly. He is extremely powerful
Can’t believe they left out the “oh where do you get those wonderful toys line”
I wonder why :/
This movie helped to increase my vocabulary
Snootchie bootchies!
sNOOOOCHIE BOOOCHIES
Snoogins
"COME SON OF JOR-EL! KNEEL BEFORE ZOD! snootchy bootchies!"
itaibh1 LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME YOU SLOPPY BITCH
In extended cut: "Come, son of Jor-El! Kneel before Zod. Snoochie boochies Hahahahaha. *sshole."
LMFAOOO 90'S BABY ?
That was better and funnier than this. Kicking lafours while he's down and saying “*sshole" made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂
🤘😛
Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this I still find this funny
"Come, son of Jor-EL. KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!"
"snoochie boochies."
Gottenburg hahahahahaha
Lol
😂😂😂❤ gotta love Jay!!! Silent Bob too!!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Thank you! In all the years I watched this movie, that's the one gag that always eluded me.
Always wondered about that line. Thank you!
I never got that until now, thank you!
Still hilarious
I love how all the other security guards are useless to stop jay from knocking him out lol
The Brenda line was classic.
I have NEVER noticed silent bob almost swing on her when she came up to them 🤣
“Dude, you a mad chick magnet!”
Jay coming in to distract Willem at 0:33 will never fail to make me laugh out loud.
Okay, now I am starting to remember this movie.
So we have Yondu and Daredevil in the same movie with the great creator Stan Lee...only it's not a Marvel movie...
Actually batman
in the mystical year of 2016, Affleck is known as batfleck due to the fact that he played batman in the Batman V Superman film
he played both daredevil in 2003 and batman in 2016
Mike Salvucci I know, but they should have said we have both Yondu and Batman. Sounds better.
Not to mention Brodie has one of the most iconic 360 flips of all time.
2:31 Needs a hour loop video
you just gave me a idea for a video
@@MadBiscuitz How is it coming along?

Jay in Mallrats: Snoochie Boochies hahahaha
Jay in Chasing Amy: Snoochie Boochies? Who the fuck talks like that? That's baby talk.
Silent Bob can outrun security guards, and he also has his own Batman utility belt and working grapple gun, then one day later (the events of Clerks), him and Jay are normal, street-level junkies.
This might be the funniest sequence in the movie
2:49 is the best dorm poster ever
2:05 is the best!
That spooky music always cracks me up.
0:33 this never gets old. 🤣

I’m just now realizing that LaFours is Silent Bob’s nemesis because he too is silent, but is much more nemesis-like.
LaFours is the bounty hunter in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - and he also wears a straw hat in that movie as well
does he boff a 15 year old like he does as LaFours?
Sven-Ole Thorsen, the guy who played LaFours, was also in A-Team, Baywatch, The Hunt for Red October and Gladiator
do I even get to wash hands first BRODY
“Come Son of Jerel. Kneel before Zod! Snoochi Bouchies hehehe”
Lmao 😂
There should be a real comic book of bluntman and cronic!
sunzi42 there is ("Tales of the Clerks" graphic novel)
I heard that Kevin Smith made the comic. If I meet him, I'm gonna ask him for a copy.

Silent Bob running was a major clue for foreseeing Kevin Smith to direct episodes of The Flash by the mid-2010s.
0:57 Randall Graves on his way to Big Choice Video
I never noticed that. Doooood! It's been over 20 years since I first saw this movie.
Jay is awesome 🤣🤣😂
He sure is!
Where do you get those wonderful toys?
The best bit!
"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
2:33 this part reminds me of baggin saggin Barry from Nickelodeon's all that
I always forget about all of the random and obscure lines my friends and I used to quote from these movies.
They removed the part where jay kicks the lafours calling him an asshole then running after hitting him with the bat
Never happened
In extended it did
‘Brenda?’
Brenda?? 😂😂😂😂
"Brenda?"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's hard to watch bald Michael rooker without getting scared to death after watching slither

He was indeed Tigris of Gaul. But before that he was the even more impressive Thorgrim!

Oh nice.
The best Kevin Smith movie
"Come, son of Jor'El, kneel before Zod!" And they bring it back around from talking about Superman in the beginning of the show. Brilliant!
Leaping Lizards Batman ( slaps forhead) , I just realized Lafours was security in the Running Man too😂
1:15 I guess Drake was a security guard. Lmao
lmao bob has the batman 1989 belt and grapple gun because kevin smith in a interview said he liked batman 1989 back then
Because he's ... Bluntman! That's why.
He even had a Batman pin on his jacket in Chasing Amy.
When I first saw Meryl on WD I was like that's the stink palm from Mallrats
aww man the one bit I need from this movie is what he said like 5 seconds later
Where does he get those wonderful toys?
