The high waisted pants with feet are great for anyone who cloth diapers. Pants were sometimes weird for my baby's little fluff butt. H&M has awesome footy pants!
I know this has to happen, I’m pregnant with my first and all the gifts we’ve gotten so far are bizarre! I’m so so grateful but not what’s useful for a newborn
I really love your ‘essentials’ disclaimer. It seems like a lot of first time moms especially think they need to spend thousands of dollars on gear, even if they can’t afford to.
I appreciate your disclaimers in the beginning even though I think it's sucks you had to do it. Some people troll to judge so I get it. I also have the Munchkin Step pail & I love the ring refills. You don't need a knife or scissors to cut because there's a blade in the inside of the pail you slide the bag across to cut it at the top so you don't waist the bag. I LOVE THIS FUNCTION!
The cover for the snuggle me actually fits the deluxe dock a tot, i used that cover so i didn't have to remove the one on the dock a tot And it actually made the dock a tot much more comfortable for my baby with the snuggle me cover😊
For swaddles, I recommend the swaddleme ones that have velcro. Or ones with zippers. Those are the only ones that my son likes 😊 it really helps him sleep so much.
We used to take the entire swaddle off when we changed him in the night. If you don’t want to then you can get the Ollie swaddle. For us he always woke up for the midnight changes and feedings. Which we didn’t care because he’d fall back to sleep 😴

I can relate SO much when you describe the differences between your kiddos. My 2 1/2yo son was the easiest newborn! He was cool with whatever and was so easy going. My daughter is 3 weeks old, and she has already shown me how she is a little more high maintenance. She’s very particular in ALL things and boy will she tell me. I’m so thankful she was my second and not my first, or I would’ve been a nervous wreck thinking I didn’t know what I was doing 🤣

I second this! Due August 4th with my first baby boy and could definitely use some more experienced mama postpartum advice! I have padscicles in the freezer, tucks wipes and Depends Signature adult diapers (recommended by Olivia) and overnight thick pads in all the bathrooms in the house but still feel that I can use these last 3 weeks to prepare!
You can also use the boppy for helping baby learn to sit up! They’re awesome at supporting the baby! Of course don’t leave them unattended, but if you’re tired of holding baby up and want them to build that muscle, it’s great for that

The K'tan and Ergobaby are the best. I bought the K'tan when we traveled to France, I wanted something soft that was easy for me to feel comfortable with on and also my son and I could both sleep. It was wonderful.. I had my son as a lap baby and I felt so secure with him in it. Plus it's easier to use vs a stroller with luggage at the airport. The Ergobaby worked perfectly to ride their train and walk through Paris.

Have you ever heard of Happy Baby Carriers? They’re a smaller business but have beautiful, stylish carriers that I swear by! They’re so simple and not bulky like a lot of other carriers. You should look into them, the owners are also so sweet and engage customers a lot!
Im going to check them out because I’m always here to support small businesses and I need an easy carrier for when I have my baby 😭 cause the others are so hard to figure out.
As much as it's great to support small businesses, they are small cause they are new meaning the quality and safety may need to be more in question so carriers i wouldn't ever buy from them

I have 3 kids. My 3rd is 1 month old, but this was my first time buying a boppy. I had never used one before but everyone seemed to love it so I bought one but I rarely ever use it. I feel like I'm much more comfortable nursing without it, maybe because I was used to not using it with my other kids.

We got the evenflo xpand gold, it can be used as both a double or single as needed ; when needed. We love it. The gold version is more expensive but the evenflo Xpand will do the same without all the extras. More only do we love that it can be both a double or single, we love that it we don't need any adapters or parts to carry around just to get it converted.
My fourth baby really hated his swing. Used it once and it just sat there wasting space, so I eventually just donated it. The boppy nursing pillow is life after you’ve had a c section.
I wish I had gotten that one. I got the breast friend nursing pillow and it was hard and not at all comfortable for me or baby specially because of the c section
Evenflo has a wonderful dupe as the uppa baby vista, it’s $350 compared to the $1000. It’s the same thing and comes with the car seat. It’s called Evenflo Pivot Xpand !!

A necessity for our daughter was/is zipadee zips!! She likes to be swaddled with her hands near her face but once she hit 8 weeks and we had to stop swaddling I PANICKED!! Thought we would never sleep again!! Zipadees were amazing, she transitioned so easily and still wears them to sleep now at 14 months. She feels secure, she’s warm when she sleeps and she’s SAFE! Obviously safety is the most important!! Whenever we have our next baby, I’m definitely going to try that Baby Bjorn bouncer! We loved the Baby Bjorn mini carrier as well!

My son really relied on swaddles but we NEVER used swaddle blankets! The Halo swaddles and the Ollie swaddles were our lifesavers. Anything with Velcro was a winner.
I bought i think a 2 pk of swaddlers at our Walmart for 10 or $20 im not sure - but definitely didnt pay a lot. That butterfly looking one that their arms can come up in is seriously genius cause babies loove sleeping w their arms up 💞💞🙌🤗

My must have baby items are quite similar to yours, except I HAVE to have my Tula Free-To-Grow (I recommend it to everyone!) and the ergococoon.
I just had my 1st son. He will be 3 months tomorrow and can I say..this mom thing is easy! Idk why people are always complaining saying “it’s so hard” and “we tried everything” idk maybe my baby is just a good baby. 😂 But I am so relaxed and find it so simple!
Babies are different during different stages and new challenges may present later on. Just be humble. Some moms STRUGGGGLE during the newborn stage but love the toddler stage or vice versa. My pregnancy was super easy but birth was hard. It just depends!
When we were getting ready for our first baby my husband was complaining about the bassinet and why it was taking up so much space in the room, my response was “where else is out baby supposed to sleep??” HA. Jokes on us she hates the bassinet we have and is currently co sleeping with us 🤪those babies sure do have a mind of their own 😂🥰

We used the boppy every day for helping my son lounge up from reflux, nursing assistance and then as he got older, it became his pillow and now he wont sleep with a normal pillow, he HAS to to have his boppy and hes 5. So we got a new boppy for baby #2 due in roughly 8 weeks.
1) I would have loved to have the Dock-a-Tot early on, but the price made me wince. What I'm actually using right now is the Boppy Baby lounger. Sam (my three month old) loves it and likes to take the occasional nap in it. 2) I inherited my cousin's bouncer from Fisher Price. Before that, we were using the Fisher Price Rock and Play. Sam constantly fell asleep in it. :) 3) I got the Avent Pacifier with the giraffe attached to it. We now call the giraffe, Jeffery. XD 4) Haven't used the bibs, yet, but I've definitely been going through the burp cloths almost daily. 5) I inherited a Baby Bjorn carrier and then recently bought the Ka'tan wrap after Sam veto's the Boba (?) wrap. The Ka'Tan is the winner (lol)
Target has a bouncer very similar for 89.99 it’s called (baby delight go with me alpine deluxe portable bouncer) I just saw it before watching this video since I was looking for things to add to my registry. My son Christian didn’t like being on his back he liked being a bit upright especially after eating.

I just had my 1st son. He will be 3 months tomorrow and can I say..this mom thing is easy! Idk why people are always complaining saying “it’s so hard” and “we tried everything” idk maybe my baby is just a good baby. 😂 But I am so relaxed and find it so simple!
Babies are different during different stages and new challenges may present later on. Just be humble. Some moms STRUGGGGLE during the newborn stage but love the toddler stage or vice versa. My pregnancy was super easy but birth was hard. It just depends!

My first baby was the same! She hated swings and loved bouncers! She also used the snuggle me until she grew out of it.
When we were getting ready for our first baby my husband was complaining about the bassinet and why it was taking up so much space in the room, my response was “where else is out baby supposed to sleep??” HA. Jokes on us she hates the bassinet we have and is currently co sleeping with us 🤪those babies sure do have a mind of their own 😂🥰

Mine too. I used the nanit to track their breath and the sleep position ,but they hated being swaddled. So I switched to sense-u. It was better.

We used the boppy every day for helping my son lounge up from reflux, nursing assistance and then as he got older, it became his pillow and now he wont sleep with a normal pillow, he HAS to to have his boppy and hes 5. So we got a new boppy for baby #2 due in roughly 8 weeks.

Terry socks are the only socks that did not fall from my babys feet. My boy had chubby feet & my girl were slim.
1) I would have loved to have the Dock-a-Tot early on, but the price made me wince. What I'm actually using right now is the Boppy Baby lounger. Sam (my three month old) loves it and likes to take the occasional nap in it.
2) I inherited my cousin's bouncer from Fisher Price. Before that, we were using the Fisher Price Rock and Play. Sam constantly fell asleep in it. :)
3) I got the Avent Pacifier with the giraffe attached to it. We now call the giraffe, Jeffery. XD
4) Haven't used the bibs, yet, but I've definitely been going through the burp cloths almost daily.
5) I inherited a Baby Bjorn carrier and then recently bought the Ka'tan wrap after Sam veto's the Boba (?) wrap. The Ka'Tan is the winner (lol)

Target has a bouncer very similar for 89.99 it’s called (baby delight go with me alpine deluxe portable bouncer) I just saw it before watching this video since I was looking for things to add to my registry. My son Christian didn’t like being on his back he liked being a bit upright especially after eating.

If you want to solve this whole problem there’s a thing called goumi and they are booties but they work amazingly and I so do the mittens
