Love your tutorials. Can the legato jeans possibly be made with a faux fly and yoga waistband? Also can you recommend a trouser style knit pant with a yoga waistband? Would so appreciate your help. Thank you.
No, you cannot make the legatos with a faux fly and yoga waistband. They have not been drafted to fit properly with a super duper stretchy woven and that’s what you need to be able to pull them up over your hips. I’d recommend the Mountain view pull on jeans from Itch to Stitch and the Metro pull on jeans from Sinclair for what you want.
I bought Christine Jonson split leg pants PDF pattern but have yet to download it. I wonder if it would work with a stretch velvet for the holidays? What do you think?
Hi karina😊. We used to do this to our pants in the 60’s and 70’s. It’s funny when trends come back.
I’ve been doing this since the 90s :)
I love watching your videos
What a fantastic idea!! Thank you for taking the time to share and demonstrate for us!!

Another informative video, thank you. Must tell you I loved the rain sound in the background, I found it so soothing. 🌹❤️

Thanks for your idea of split in pants. I'm a seamstress too, I'll do this on my clients pants.
Love this content! A very professional finish, as always, thanks.

The pattern is designed for knits so stretch velvet will work if it also has some vertical stretch.
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles Thanks! Got some black velvet and some Christmas green crepe to sew Butterick 6828.
How can I shorted a pair of jeans that has a split already on the jeans with using the original hem
