@Metalpazallteway KIA/Hyundai offers so many features and tech that luxury brand offers. The problem with them is when you have issues with the transmission. Yes, they offer a really good warranty, but a lot of their transmission is back order. So good luck with the loaner if they provide you one. Unless you live in Korea that will be different story.
OK.... I own the '23 Sport Touring Hybrid. This would be my 3rd CR-V. Honda makes a great vehicle in theory, and that's why I've owned so many. However, there are always things Honda conveniently leaves out, that twist up the loyal Honda customers. No Homelink garage door opener ($350, took 4 months to get the new mirror that has it). No cargo cover. (They were included with all my other CR-V's. I don't know where yours came from!) The dealership swears that the seats are leather. The screen is less than most other competitors, and firmware updates are all but non existent. The charging pad for the phone is wonky, at best. Wireless CarPlay has glitchy software that at times, needs a restart. It's good to have the onboard GPS (actually uses satellites), because the mobile phone people are not always that reliable, and towers are sometimes sparse. This thing has paddle shifters!! What the hell do I need with paddle shifters??!! (and, I did confirm that they are paddle shifters, and not some way to just invoke the charging system. The braking does that) This is a hybrid, not a Ferrari! And finally, there is NO SPARE TIRE!! I didn't find this out until I I watched another TH-cam video that concerned this. I have achieved 42.5 MPG during the summer, playing with it. In the colder weather, you will get more like 34-36 MPG. Thanks for the video!
Dang Jeff, honestly you didn’t like the paddle shifters? I drive a lot in the mountains/foothills, curves, snow, traffic, I love the paddle shifters. My dad taught me how to drive using the transmission, up/down shifting helps provide better control in nearly all situations, also saves wear and tear on the brakes, I’ve never had to replace brakes on any vehicle that I’ve had, bought my first (used) car in 1962, 3 speed on the column with overdrive. Practice with the paddle shifters, you will come to appreciate them.
@@ChesterSm-ge1hb Nope! Not at the expense of key items that should be on a top trim level. I grew up driving shift vehicles, and they're fun on the right car. My 2018 CRV had 126,000 miles on it, and I changed the brakes once. It wasn't all that expensive at a non dealership. Thanks for your insight! Cheers!
Okay this is good n all but how does it stack up with the ever growing auto thefts that are happening in Toronto especially with the CRV? How easy is it to steal this? What has Honda done to prevent thieves from stealing this car from my driveway in the middle of the night?
I miss VTEC 😢
Interior looks dated but it's reliability that sell them and since not so many updates not so many things that can go wrong
Dated but not clatter. Good for minimalist adopters.
I love it and I want one
The best in it class
😉
Interior is so so old now.
What technology is old for instance ?
RAV4 interior is even older. Lol
@@Ilovecomedy7The screen elevated for me is a hazardous design
I still like the KIA 2024 design way more elegant

@@jeffmiller1140 There is a reason that Indy cars, F1 cars etc, utilize paddle shifters. Paddle shifters much more desirable than heated seats for me.

Whatever power they say, the Blue Car Guy is not letting the white one to overtake😛
Beautiful car. You can’t say that of the new VW Tiguan.
The Tiguan has far better interior and tech than this CRV

No spare tire in hybrid models. That’s ridiculous.
