the throwing knife uses your melee modifiers so you really should use flak dmg perk on the knife. im getting around to the last few builds i never got a chance to talk about. if you have a build you want to see optimized let me know ill get around to it
I feel like you are gonna roast me, but what do you think about optimizing the Veteran Swap build with the Doom Shotgun and Shock Maul Telepots has been playing? I've been trying it, and it's really fun imo
Double barrel is decent imo it’s not great…. Lots of issues is that the janky reload is a bit bad… the double shot makes it good for deleting mutants on headshot but you should use your melee for that

Completely agree. It's so stupid that shanking enemies with a tiny blade does infinitely more damage than... I dunno... Let say a shainsword... Or... An axe...
You take Retributer's Stance over Second Wind? Isn't Second Wind just better because its a flat 15% toughness per dodge vs 6% per dodge up to a cap of 30% if you take both branches of the keystone with the condition that you can only proc the total toughness gained once every 6 seconds?
Pretty much the same as my Zealot build actually. I use the Zarona revolver with Carapace and Reload Speed, Hand Cannon and Crucian Roulette, and the Mk VI Combat Blade with Elite Damage and Weakspot Damage, Flesh Tearer and Mercy Killer, but my talents are almost the exact same. Main things are that I don't go for Thy Wrath Be Swift, and instead of going for Invocation of Death, I put those extra points into Anoint in Blood and Purge the Unclean, and the last extra point goes into Swift Certainty just because move speed is great.

The flamer is good its just really not very flexible. It does one singular thing which is horde clearing and it never feels super useful. I should probably try it more though

I love the heavy eviscerater, but its mobility feels crippling and i cant think of a good secondary (besides the columnus and revolver). I would love a build for the eviscerater please.
Shred 4/Perfect strike or (rampage 4) 5% crit blessing along with blazing piety you have infinite ult uptime if you know what your doing it's insane I've gotten over 2.5k crits in auric malestrom

Why flesh tearer and mercy killer? I heard those two doesn’t work together. I rolled my first knife, it is carapace, unyielding with blessing Uncanny4 and Precog4. Will this still work with the build? sorry for long question but I am just curious
They arent that weird to use. I use up on the D pad and after completing the penance its rather easy for me to use them and I hit some pretty nasty throwing knives at times. Plus you can line it up with your crosshair or just get good at leading your shots in general. Its all just muscle memory at the end of the day and practice of course.
does darktide support mkb on xbox? does it not allow to rebind controller buttons? if it doesn't then it is truly fucked. You can remap controller buttons in the xbox settings themselves but it's more annoying
@@BiomechanicalBrick no it doesnt and there is only one controller layout out of 7 that allows you to play with jump and crouch on separate buttons which is the layout I use.

Throwing knives are so fucked on controller lol, shit is so clunky.
