Max is amazing and had learned so well and is so good at what he does. He is a great asset to that company and I love seeing Steve walk around, just doing what he wants. So well deserved. Just love it after working so hard after al these years making candy by himself except when Terry helped him out. I would of helped my husband too everyday all day with him. I remember watching videos when Max first joined and they were teaching him all the little things slowly and now he just casually says he can make the rest of the batch on his own if he has to. Love that. It really goes to show both how much work he’s put in and how much more comfortable and confident somebody can get once they know something. It’s also kind of inspiring.
It's honestly a sign of a good boss, He COULD have gotten mad at the wasted product, but it was clearly an accident and it was handled with grace, and dignity on all parts.
Judging on the stories of Steve as a dad to his kids I'm not surprised with how he handled that but that is just so refreshing to see that those people are out there. What a wonderful work environment and his kids were some of the luckiest kids in the world with parents that handle things so great. Accidents happen and you can't go back in time to fix them so why stress or get mad over it? Instead learn from it and move on.

Steve and Terry are great bosses. Especially because they publicly make mistakes, too.

Y'know, it really shows when Max says some places he worked if you have time to look at the clock you're not working enough was a serious statement just why so many ppl like working at or watching Hercules. Not just the way accidents like dropping candy are handled, but also the work environment (like customers) is better if ppl are happy. It's hard work and long hours, but you're actually a valued person in the business.

I got the impression in previous videos that Joe was proficient on the hook. I think Max is also more cautious by nature, so asked for spotting even after he didn't need it.

Just ordered some of this candy. Can’t wait for it to come in. I felt so bad for Joe when it seemed like the candy just melted thru his hands like karo syrup would do and some fell. Poor Joe. It’s okay don’t worry we didn’t see nothing!!!! Lol. Craig maybe do a video with all the bloopers!
