    There's snow on the ground and the sun hasn't risen so I'm listening to this (again) as the fireplace warms the room. Bravo Sir/Ma'am and good morning

    One of Perfect Circuit's best keyboard synth demos!! This, in my opinion, will help musicians see the power of the Polybrute! I'm thinking, the Polybrute & the new Sequential Prophet 5 will be blasting college campuses around the U.S.A. very soon. Bring the voltage ⚡ kids!

      @@ruigaio it has!

    • @ruigaio
      @ruigaio 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Amlanting sorry, but it does not, it is polyphonic and it has aftertouch, but not poly aftertouch, that means that if you make a chord and change the pressure on one finger, all the notes of that chord get affected not just the note under the key you pressed. Poly aftertouch is what made the sound of the cs-80 so expressive and unique (besides the obvious vintage chips influence on sound).

    • @Amlanting
      @Amlanting 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ruigaio I know the difference yeah, I somehow tought it had poly. But I guess I was misinformed. Thats a bummer indeed. I really love the poly aftertouch on my hydrasynth.

      This sounds a little warmer to me but I’m still leaning towards the super 6

    • @N-trepid1
      @N-trepid1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My quandary exactly. Everyday I switch back and forth. I'm shocked that the Poly has me hitting the pause button on the Super 6. The Poly is no joke. Flexible, sounds gorgeous, sequencer implementation, ribbon, 61 keys, and overall design is impressive. Six voices? Whatever...... My OB has 6 --and it does just fine. Either is a win--guess it depends on personal taste and what you plan to do with it. MPE on the Super (future firmware update). No date on MPE for the PolyBrute---at least not yet.

    • @RayyMusik
      @RayyMusik 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      PolyBrute for me. I fell in love with it with the first demo while the Super 6 leaves me cold even after 50.

    • @DasHemdchen
      @DasHemdchen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too, but it‘s 20kg already and huge. It doesn‘t come with 61 keys by chance, they couldn‘t build six voices (with actually 48 OSCs) any smaller😀

    I dunno, that "hairy saw wave" that you see on Sonic State's review can't quite make a solid and smooth sound. Might be good to do movie soundtracks and special effects though.

    Whats the price and polyphony?

    • @PerfectCircuit
      @PerfectCircuit  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      6 voices of polyphony and it costs $2499

    • @winddealer1
      @winddealer1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      From a "non-sense" per voice cost price perspective : $2499/6 = $415.60 per voice.
      In contrast a Novation Summit would be $2499/16 = $156.00 per voice . There is a lot more to consider besides cost per voice.
