    Here’s one for yall. Find a bike that’s stripped down for the most part or one that you would be willing to to strip and rebuild. At this point weld over all of the vin numbers then add custom welds to the frame. The next step would be to take measurements of the diameter piping that the frame is made out of going by that same exact diameter from a metal shop. The receipt for it put the bike back together if it runs, bring it up to your local courthouse tell them you custom made the bike because technically you did, show them all the receipts because they’re gonna ask for it. They’re gonna come out and take a look at it. Make sure everything‘s correct. And then they will give you a custom Vin number. And now since you bought that other metal piping, you could go ahead and make a second bike frame and build a secondary custom motorcycle that you can keep for yourself as well or sell. I’ve done this in the past with trailers that my dad lost the title to and I sandblasted it and put a bunch of homemade custom welds on. It wasn’t too worried about how good it looked at the time that I made at home and I was able to get a tile for it. Build cars I’ve never done a motorcycle, but the principal is still the same. I’ve fully built out frames for the truck that I have because the frame was completely rotten because living up north sucks. And my local courthouse was completely cool with me making a custom frame, and they just asked me to get the Vin number stamped on it and it was no problem. But I guess the laws are different here because they told me any custom modification that you make to an existing frame is therefore custom-made.

    You get registration in vermount then you take the registration papers to the dmv in Florida as long as its in your name you can register it and you will get a title deed.. i did this with a car from new Hampshire with no title

    Might just try this, did just fine a cheap Harley z90. Sadly even if it is clean you can't trust people, always get a video of your agreement. Helped me the last time someone reported a car stolen for insurance fraud.

    What if the bike has a lien thats 7+ years old? The "statue of limitations" is over so idk how that works.

      @agent.86 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A lien shows on the actual title, if your getting a new title it's not going to.pop up at the registry

      Once a bike has been sitting in your property over 30 days legally it's yours.. you go to court and filed for ownership and you will get a new title

    1st time trading my 07 civic for a grom I made him meet me at the mvd which is Az version of dmv if your wondering, the lady processing the paperwork transfered my car to the guys name, but when it came time for his grom to be transfered to my name, she disappeared for 45 min. Next thing i know cops showed up at the mvd before hand I saw them close 2 of the 3 exits and of course turns out it was reported stolen but at the same time his title was legitimate. The cops told him they have to tow it and the previous owner will have to pay the impound fee. Im almost sure the previous owner and maybe this guy was pulling a scam. Anyways i quickly mentioned that the civic needs to be transfered back to my name where i was informed i have to pay a $4 fee. Had to drop the dude and pickup his girl to bring them home as he was far out.

      @emersonwest8 Sounds good. In this situation where we were just meeting up on the MVD2 trade titles in each other's name for the vehicles. It might not apply in this situation. But that's why I'm always Adamant in meeting at the MVD when doing private purchases of any type of vehicle, to iron out situations like these. The fact that the guy did not get arrested though having a legitimate title Threw me for a loop. If we had done a bill of sale, I wouldn't have definitely lost my vehicle to him.

    Wrecker company will sell me crashed bikes for cash. Under the table with no paperwork. They are destined to be scrapped. I want to build one using different components from different bikes. Like Johnny Cash did.

    Vermont title loophole is and has been DEAD for awhile now...smh

    • @IEatCheerios
      @IEatCheerios 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is and it's not. You can have your state give you permission to get it registered in Vermont then switched. It's just another piece of paper.

      @@IEatCheeriosWhat is the document for said mentioned "permission"
      I'm eyeballing a lost title motorcycle but the seller has a signed bill of sale and signed lost affidavit of title from previous owner (who lost it when moving states)

    Vermont title/registration is not supposed to be a permanent thing you get it then your able to switch it to a NC title. I wouldn't wait a year to switch to NC

      Vermont only issues registration for VT, it will not transfer to NC for the creation of a title, you would still need to have it bonded.

    A bonded title doesn't make you the owner. The person who has the original title I the owner. You still pissing away money
