better in some ways, worse in others. Mostly regarding the realism of the tornado behavior, and the "science" shown in the film. Nobody would EVACUATE a building if a tornado was approaching it, and already so close. In-ground pools are not considered safe locations to hide in tornadoes. Scientists and storm chasers should know that more than anyone. They also didn't consider making any of the tornadoes in the new movie... average sized. Many of them, at least from what I've seen in clips and trailers, have been massive, killer wedges. Most tornadoes aren't that. The new one is a good ACTION movie though, and has some great acting, I'll give it that.
I love Daisy Edgar Jones’s Britishness and her southernness, but god damn she nailed that American accent and never let her British accent slip during filming
There are pluses and minuses IMO. I thought Glen Powell was excellent, and I liked the fact that there was no kiss at the end. The ending of Twister was a little trite. I also thought the storms were better in this one than the original, but the twisters in the original had more of a villain feel than in this one. Both films are excellent, and I will enjoy both equally on rewatch.

There both great movies honestly like the new one more but there both phenomenal movies

you'd think so but in this one? the Twisters are actually volcanoes! didn't see that one coming didya?
Change the tornado for alians and it might be a good movie.
