    Oscar and Ray have developed through the years their special feeling for time and musical language no one could match. Niels could always play but it's lighter and almost guitar like approach. Actually, my favourite bassist with Oscar is Sam Jones. Thank you for sharing!

    I love the uniqueness of this combo. Ray Brown and O.P. are almost like bro's and R.B. can fill in for the left hand of the piano if a small break is required. As for NHOP
    what can I say? He has a right hand on the string bass that many a flamenco guitarist would be glad of. The great ones are all leaving us and are irreplaceable! I think that Ray Brown introduced O.P. to this tune.

    If you could play music like one single person who has ever lived, why wouldn't you choose Oscar Peterson?! Or Louis Armstrong?

    • @morrisparrish76
      @morrisparrish76 ปีที่แล้ว

      WADR to louis Armstrong; I’d take Oscar over any piano player! (WADR to Magic Johnson; I’d take “Oscar” over any guard!)
