Cole Pratt first of all these girls can be attractive to many people. Just because you don't find them attractive doesn't mean others can't love the way they look. And second, sure you're good at getting attractive girls ;)
this is not about promoting ''fat'' people, this is about promoting being proud of who you are. omg guys.. Why are people always raging and saying ''I DONT LIKE THAT YOU PROMOTE BEING OVERWEIGHT IS OKEY?'' But no one is bitching to all those unhealty skinny girls out there. You don't have to be unhealty to be overweight, it can be in the family, it can be a sickness and it can be hard for someone to loose weight. We should CELEBRATE all the different girls out there and support each other and NOT give hate for being brave.
Michaela Moxley ''SHOWING UNHEALTHY WEIGHT IS NOT OKEY'' Sometimes people get overweight because of a sickness, sometimes people get underweight of a sickness. people don't think about that some overweight people out there are on meds or have a sickness because when you are sick you always turn ''skinny'' ... i'm sick of people bitching about this thing, this is not promoting ''IT OKEY TO BE OVERWEIGHT'' video, this is a video where they show women that YES are overweight but not ashamed to show the world. People like YOU and in the comments here are litteraly destroying people out in the world. This video is about showing that no one is perfect and we NEED to stop hating on others because they don't look the way you want them to look.
There is WAY too much negativity in the comments section. Plus sized is beautiful, skinny is beautiful, every size is beautiful! It takes all shapes and sizes to fit together into this puzzle of life. Every single one of these women looked stunning and there is no need for hate or body and health shaming here. No one can judge another persons health purely from aesthetics and even if someone is obese and unhealthy, thats THEIR life and they can still be beautiful and love themselves!
Why can't we ever have both plus size and "average" people, and skinny people all do beauty stuff together. It's either plus size is beautiful or skinny is but truth is most people are in between.
Because as soon as you put a normal size person or a model next to an obese person "plus-size modeling" will look even more unattractive. Beauty is relative.
different brands have different demographics, asking gucci to do plus size is like asking a plus size specific store to use a thin model xD it doesnt sell
Madison Rose you might deny it, but being fat is a choice, shops don’t represent plus sized models cause they don’t want it to look like they are supporting heart attacks and the inability to get up on your own 🤷🏽♀️
Funny how in these types of videos, the women are always concerned about flashing someone and getting sent to HR but the Try Guys can do a video where they’re literally running around naked all day and aren’t remotely worried about it
Cedi Lowry finally some one mentioned the hr comment. I always think its funny that they mention hr so much considering that this is pretty normal to them all by now.
I would be pretty embarrassed if my privates start showing so why not try to lighten the mood with some humor. I honestly think it was just a casual joke.
NO NAME just your opinion... maybe not. But you know what? They are already FAMOUS on TH-cam and modeled also in other videos and were sooo damn pretty. No one forces you to watch them! Or date them! So calm down, date/hit on women you like. Period. Stop the hate, please.
Kamila Bezděková actually it's a fact. Hence the point of this video. They will never become real models. I'll never join the NBA. Am I complaining? No. That's life Some are more athletic Some are prettier Some are smarter Imitation doesn't produce authentic value
Anyone can take a good photo if they have their hair done professionally , makeup applied properly, the lighting is right, appropriate props and clothes on, thoes photos were perfect and you all looked great*
Cole Pratt Kristin actually has a condition that causes her to carry the majority of her fat around her waist area. As far as I'm aware, she lives quite a healthy lifestyle.
Flowey ikr. It's all about 'supermodel thin' or 'curvy/plus size/ 'the new healthy' I'm a few pounds underweight for my bmi but honestly just an I between weight would be great to see, we've got the curves and the flat stomachs half the time lol
+Pickled Children who cares? Why do women need so much representation to feel beautiful? I'm an average bodied dude and couldn't care less than only buff guys are represented in the media.
They may be unhealthy but that might not be their fault. I have a relative who works out every day and she's still 200 pounds. I'm skinny at 100 pounds and I still don't think that people who can't control their weight are unattractive. Look at Kristin! She looks amazing.
Here's what I think: There should definitely be more diversity in the modelling industry. Shaved heads, people who have different body types. Even some bigger people. We shouldn't only be viewing thin as beautiful. But obesity should NOT be promoted as beautiful. It is not healthy. Yes, an obese person can be a good person, and have a beautiful soul, but we shouldn't be promoting this body type as something we should strive for. Plus size models are fine. Thin models are fine. But no obese models or severely skinny models. That is damaging to society.
You can be thin and be at a risk for diabetes and health conditions. It's damaging to my health to not be represented or have a space of my own where I just feel like it's okay to be me. It's damaging to my health that you don't want so badly to not even think about my bodies like mine that you don't want them represented anywhere. Because who needs self-worth for fatties, is that what you're saying?
To y'all complaining about how this is "glorifying obesity" and that fat is "unhealthy": I hope you say the same thing next time you see underweight girls in videos or pictures! :)
They say they would but they would never. I hate how they are always saying "be healthy!" to overweight people just to cover the fact that they simply don't like fat people. It's more annoying than them just admitting they don't like fat people.
hoo hoo the fact that everyone is flipping out about Eugenia Cooney is a perfect example of how people feel the exact same way about underweight people as they do of overweight people. So kindly shut up.
Why is there so many hate comments Ok being fat is not good for your health but I'm pretty sure if their weight is affecting their health they will fix that but if not then good for them so leave them alone I'm actually pluse size and I'm pretty healthy so stop linking weight with health
Bethany James yea like why are they so pressed about what other people are doing? Why not stay in your lane better yourself instead of wasting time criticizing others?
Bethany James I believe it's bc we have ads being banned from having models that are too skinny and there's such an uproar on this, people tend to question the other spectrum too
I thinks it is more how there is more social pressures on women to look beutiful, while, although there are pressure on men as well, we still live in a patriachal society where it is expected that a man bring money home
Ok I'm going to say something that might be offensive, and if it is then educate me no need to get angry. I do believe that fashion ads should include more body types and sizes, but to a certain extent. Like extremely underweight and obese shouldn't be advertised as normal, because no one should be advertising something that is unhealthy. People who are obese have a significantly higher chance of getting diabetes and coronary heart diseases. It's like how smoking isn't advertised. I know there's a need for media to be inclusive but there's also a need for people to realize the dangers of having eating disorders, being anorexic or obese etc.
Leena Taha I agree to a certain point but I think they should advertise people who are...... bigger not extremely obese but at least an average size or chunky. models now are still scary thin
When I see a billboard of a ridiculously good looking man I look at my spare tire and do push ups...I'd love to be put through my paces to achieve a Zoolander like physique and expression - all while getting healthier as a sliver lining.
This is so awful. Buzzfeed wouldn't ever promote "Underweight women recreate fashion ads", they shouldn't create this content either. Obesity is just as bad as severe underweight. Not saying these women aren't beautiful; just saying they're unhealthy.
They wouldn't recreate it with underweight women because the models in the original photos are already underweight??? Like, models are often severely underweight. The BMI of the average fashion model is around 14-16. Anything below 18.5 is considered underweight. And since women naturally carry more fat than men, it's RIDICULOUSLY difficult to get that low of a BMI.
Corey5268 i do agree (those two girls with the scalves looked sickingly underweight to me) but the point is buzzfeed would just never think of doing that because they're a liberal sjw channel. Skinny girls can't possibly be insecure or have body image problems in their eyes.
SparklingJuice247 unless you are a short asian man. then it's okay for women to insult you since women... 1) are driven by biology to choose good genes 2) deserve the best 3) *generic response about female empowerment*
one thing i will agree with is that these models work hard for their bodies. maybe the industry needs to show more inclusivity, but hitting the gym and eating healthy is a full time job for most models. these ladies calling them out for being bad examples is kind of diminishing their efforts.
awatif omar it's more the fact that the women in the models are the only body type that is shown. that's why people have a problem with the modelling world, it's because they only show one body type that has generally been photoshopped beyond belief, so people don't see themselves in the media, which can lead to a number of long term issues
I love the way they avoid putting the way the models look down, I applaud how there not calling them to skinny or unrealistic bodies because most of them are genetically blessed, there are a lot of girls like that out there me included where I just have a high metabolism I eat just as much as the next person it just metabolises faster. and normally plus size women put down smaller women calling them skinny bitches or we need to eat more but here there not, there just putting it into a different perspective which I love.
I'm obese and trying to lose weight. I am not complexed because of my weight but I'm worried about my health. And i agree that we should love ourselves the way we are but seriously who loves being fat and being more likely to be affected by health problems. I mean now you might be bigger and healthy but it might not be the case in the long run. What I am saying every size is beautiful but not every size is healthy whether it's underweight or overweight. These ads are promoting self-confidence but also health problems. Being fat also physically hinders you from doing certain things. Your metabolic capacity is reduced and so many other setbacks. And this comment was written by an obese person. A person making disrespectful comments about your weight is a bully and this is not supporting bullies. You should never make fun of a fat person or tell him to lose weight(unless you are a doctor). He/she will take it the wrong way.
Talk to your doctor, and discuss a healthy routine that fits you. Do not just be like "eat less" and done, that doesn't work and can be dangerous for many people. So please talk to your doctor it will be more effective in the long run to prefrebly get recommendations for a dietcticion, than anything you can do on your own.
Good for you! I hope eating healthier works out for you. Being healthy is all about what you do with your bodies, but I think everyone should be confident with themselves while still paying attention to being healthy. Fat doesn't mean unhealthy, it's just up to you to balance your diet. Good luck!
Why is Buzzfeed trying to glorify fat people? I don't see them glorifying skinny people or the in betweeners. Being fat is not healthy. Stop Buzzfeed. Stop.
Nobody said they were not beautiful, I bet they are awesome people to be around and they have a big heart, but they are unhealthy unfortunately! And you cannot compare obesity with an illness like cancer. In my opinion promoting self confidence is a good thing but I would not go as far as saying "love your body because its yours", if you love your body respect it, dont do things in excess like food, alcohol, smoking etc..
+Lashana Atkins Nobody said it wasn't beautiful. And nobody was talking about beautifulness. We're talking about how Buzzfeed seems to promote fat people all the time. Like okay, we get it. You're fat. You're okay with it. But you shouldn't be. Being fat doesn't mean health. And some of these women aren't even plus size. They're fat and nearing obesity. Buzzfeed shouldn't be promoting obesity. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying fat people aren't beautiful. Not at all. I'm just saying instead of being okay with it, they should do something about it.
But being fat doesn't mean illness neither. I think that when someone feels good about how he looks, it change a lot. Everything depend on our minds, coz thats how our brains work. It's like placebo efect. If you don't feel bad with yourself all the time, it's mean you have less stress, and then you can be more healthy. I know people who are larger than regular people, and they are perfectly fine. So.... If they want to be this way, why not to be happy with them even if we don't think it's good. We shouldn't even try to judge them for that, it's their choice. And we should give them opportunity like that to love themselfs, just like that, because why not?
Agreed! My favorite one..I swear it looked better to me than the original. They were just killin' it the way they were looking into the camera...FIERCE!!
not to make this about me but when are the mid range body types (sizes like 8-14) going to have like a "we're awesome too" movement, because we're not like "damn she thicc" but we're not like "aww she's so tiny" we're just kinda too small to be curvy too big to be thin?? i need somebody to start a movement with me
BooksMusicAndSarcasm Those sizes are average and don't need a movement neither does the new obese movement but still. Also I'm a size 14 and i am hella thick.
Lyn K Uhhh you have a repulsive personality. Why should women care if they are being repulsed by men if they are comfortable in their own bodies? Word of advice for you, a woman-objectifying garbage, women aren't made to attract men.
as a person who is underweight, im struggling too. the fact that some people say that im anorexic when the fact that i tried so bad to gain weight, it hurts me. one once said that i look like a plank and bones. 😞
Underweight women like yourself are beautiful too. My daughter is super tiny and I have gotten social services called on me because a doctor thought she had an eating disorder. It was proven, medically by another three doctos, that she didn't have one. I was told by all three that her body just uses the energybfrom food differently. One, a male, even said that it was my job to let her know she's beautiful no matter her size. You, Fatin Amirah, are a beautiful woman. Never let anyone, even your family, tell you differently! If they do, come to me! I'll adopt you!
Do they have a video where they recreate pictures of models but with curvy girls, girls Who are really fit and have abs and girls Who are skinny and have trouble gaining weight ?
Same I feel your pain. Non of the women in my family on my father's side ever gained over 100 lb until they were over 25 or 30 And all the women on my mother's side are on the heavier side but have super bid curves because of it. I have no curves and I am super thin only about 85lb at 16. It's come to a point where I don't we're shorts or short sleeves because I want to hide myself and I have turned around or covered any mirrors or reflective objects so I don't see myself I eat healthier and I eat all the time to try and gain weight, it's so hard to gain weight and people need to realize being skinny in bot anyways great and fun
They all looked rad af, and frankly, i'm sick of hearing everybody giving them a hard time, maybe some of them are unhealthy, maybe not, but it doesn't matter, this is the way these women look, it's unlikely that that will change, and they deserve look and feel as beautiful/sexy as they are.
I understand why people are saying that buzzfeed is "promoting an unhealthy lifestyle" but people can be overweight and perfectly healthy so please don't be so quick to judge. IF A PERSON IS HEALTHY AND HAPPY WHY SHOUKD THEY CHANGE THE WAY THEIR BODY LOOKS
There's a difference between Plus-Sized women (curvy) and Fat woman! Some of those women are just fat! And stop trying to make them think thats good! Being healthy is good! You can be curvy and healthy at the same time!
GravnHD some people are born with dieseases which make it either hard to lose weight or make them keep weight on. You can be "fat" and healthy. How about next time you try to build "plus sized" women up,instead of bringing them down
there is a difference between being curvy/a little overweight and being fat. some of these women are just fat, and it's not healthy. it's kind of weird that they're promoting something REALLY UNHEALTHY.
The Tommy Hilfiger one and the Burberry one could be legit adds now they know damn well the Calvin Klein one was just wrong and trifling they made her look like a pillow when they could of got more flattering shots and clothes
SOOO many of these comments are rude and offensive! What's wrong with promoting body positivity and loving who you are? I want to cry... How rude have people become?
Aidan Cusack These women obviously don't feel comfortable. They are probably trying to lose weight. And the rude comments probably make them more self concious. All I'm saying is that we need to let themm love themselves. It's not your body is it? So let them be!
I pay taxes into our health system here in my country. Less obese people mean that i have to pay less into the system. Normal sized people arent going to doctors as often as these ladies.
The message isn’t “you should be obese” it’s that you deserve to love yourself and think you’re beautiful regardless of size. If you think self love and weight loss can’t coexist you’re doing it wrong. The message isn’t be fat, the message is that you can love yourself if you are. And that’s not a BAD THING
I don't understand Buzzfeed's need to try and normalize something that isn't healthy. If you look at the ads they are trying to recreate, the women in them aren't scarily thin like some models from the 90's, just naturally skinny. Being overweight is not healthy and never will be. No one deserves to be shamed for their bodies but let's not try to accept something that will only harm you, and this goes for both overweight and underweight people.
That was a counterintuitive point right there. Also just an oxymoron. You just mixed healthy and overweight. Overweight means you're not healthy. Which means you can't be overweight and healthy.
Ashley Beck at the end of the day, it's not up to you on how someone's lifestyle is. So what, these girls are overweight? Why are you so sensitive about it? Frankly, these women look no way near like they're going to die. Have you seen how fat people can get. The women in this video are no way near morbidly obese to die from their weight. Everyone is different and has different metabolisms. Me personally, I put on weight so easily, yet I know people who eat SO much yet are underweight. Let people live the life they want and worry about yourself.
Ashley Beck so because obesity is apparently taking away from other medical issues; you think that gives you right to discourage these girls. I don't find 'donate now' adverts on tv for helping obesity yet there's plenty of others for different medical reasons etc. this comment was purely for the help of myself. I'm overweight and I 'PERSONALLY' found this very empowering and encouraging for myself. If you have such a problem, scroll down....
Ashley Beck you are attacking every woman in this video stating that they are going to be dead in a few years and that us overweight people are taking away from other medical issues when that isn't the case at all! I just don't see what your problem is. None of these women are insulting you at all! I'd like to see you saying this to someone who's extremely underweight...
Ashley Beck and frankly, these women are not putting themselves in danger. If that's the case, everything you must do on a daily basis is "putting yourself in danger"....driving a car, that's one. I could go on and on.
The girl at 2:38 her words “she’s very beautiful, tall, skinny, and I’m the total opposite of that” TO ALL GIRLS AND WOMEN skinny does not mean beautiful it’s the beauty carried inside
A good vid, but I feel like body positivity is starting to overtake healthiness. I'm a plus-sized girl and have been since my teen years, but I've noticed a difference in my overall health from one size to another. You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are at any moment, but that doesn't mean you should stop trying to be the best version of yourself mentally, emotionally and, yes, physically. Sure, some people have larger bodies but there's a difference between a larger frame with a healthy weight (even if that weight doesn't equal skinny) and being obese. I just worry for those who allow that 'positivity' to overshadow their need to take proper care of themselves.
windycitydreaming well getting to a healthy weight start by loving oneself and encouraging to improve. Yes some people take that as a good way to procrastinate and stay hefty, but some has health concerns that might make them incapable to loose as fast or at all. Doesn't mean you have to feel like crap because of it. (I tend to loose a lot of weight when I'm happy with myself)
Totally agree. It's hard to be motivated to do better for yourself when you can only see flaws, real or perceived. Like I said, I'm more worried for those who use 'body positivity' as a crutch not to be healthy. I'm not even necessarily talking about losing weight, though that tends to be a byproduct of making good, healthy decisions. I'm just particularly bothered by all of this coming from Buzzfeed, which produces these body positivity vids right along with those 'me @ the buffet/dessert table/etc vs. you @ the buffet/dessert table/etc.' vids that make light of overeating. And I don't think I've ever seen anything healthy come from one of their 'recipes'. All of which will pop up in your 'up next' section. It's just a trend I've noticed of late.
Buzzfeed, you need to do a special that allows me to be an NBA player. Screw all these so called "tall" and "athletic" guys who so unfairly get paid way more than me. I would love to have a chance to write the wrong that is tall and athletic guys in the NBA.
clubinsky33 Like honestly those models are like part of the 1% That reach the modeling beauty standards. And they thinks it's "unfair that they're not part of it smh..
This has really given me more confidence. I'm a plus size girl, and for 2 years I've never been in a public pool. And I don't wear dresses, but you know, this really does make me feel better about myself. Thank you for making this 12 year old girl proud to be who I am.
Kawaii Cookie Cats I agree I'm not plus sized yet but I'm getting there and I have always been the "bigger" than all the other girls I knew and I love watching these video so empowering
Nat Rowan they are not saying that. They are saying whatever your journey you can love yourself and feel beautiful. That in NO way says they arent on a journey to be healthy. What you are saying is that until they are the weight that they are supposed to be they should find a cave and stay there. lol ridiculous They are beautiful because they are strong women and they shouldnt WAIT until they are a certain weight to embrace their bodies. In order to be healthy and happy you need to come accept your body and love yourself no matter your weight. That's okay. They might not be where they want to be but they can feel good and beautiful and happy. We need more representation of girls who go through the struggle being happy and feeling pretty. That in no way says they have to stay that weight or that is the end of their journey. Please educate yourself :/ .
It feels like the only type of videos buzzfeed post is "plus size women" videos. Of course it's amazing that buzzfeed make theese videos about plus size women but its just to many of theese videos. My opinion
But why? Why is there too many? Do you feel triggered because you're seeing big girls love themselves instead of feeling severely self conscious? You'd never whinge about all of their videos featuring skinny girls lmao
I am 100% for women feeling great about themselves. I personally think it would be nice to see some variety of women? These ladies are beautiful, but i would love to see some average ladies, super tall ones and super short ones. People who look nowhere near model like a bunch of people in one video. plus sized, average sized, small girls, girls with large hips but small breasts. I would like a bit more variety so that every woman can relate and feel good.
Mon Mon of course not i think theese videos are amazing but it kinda feels like buzzfeed is out of ideas because they only make plus size women modeling
you guys knows that women's is hard to accept her self if her weight is ok or it should be thinner or if it is too thin should eat more. but the truth the video only shows you have to love you as you are if you do not accept you as you then who does not matter if you're fat or thin the important thing is love yourself.
Is it just me or do I prefer Kristin over Gigi for the Tommy Hilfiger ad. Like she looks amazing . The all killed the photo shoot. They all looked bomb AF
Have anyone of y'all hating thought about that they may be plus size because they have some kind of illness or anything? They're all beautiful in my opinion.
This is not promoting being unhealthy. Its promoting self love. I won't hate myself until I get to an acceptable size or allow anyone to make me feel bad for being the size that I am. What if I never get an acceptable size?! I'm gonna love myself regardless and feel good about myself regardless of where i am in MY journey. For encouragement, pick up the holy book of Bangtan, Cypher Part 4 I love I love I love myself! I love I love I love myself! I know I know I know myself! Ya playa haters you should love yourself!!! BRRRRRRah! LOL :D
You can love yourself for who you are without accepting your weight. Your body isn't a reflection of the person you are. You don't have to hate yourself as a person. But knowing when you are causing harm to yourself is something that has to be taken into account too. Blessings from father Yoongi
You should always love yourself and you should love yourself enough to always try to be your best. You should never accept yourself at your worst. You can't blame EVERYTHING on genetics
M. Maron ...thats the thing... no one is blaming... can't I just be fat and happy and you can be fit and happy and she can be skinny and happy and he can be underweight and happy and we can all try to better ourselves and be happy... can't I just care about MY happiness without having to cater to other people's opinions... damn!
Yes we should show loads of different body shapes but just not the unhealthy body's (obesity or anorexia) we don't want to normalize life threatening situations .
yeah... different body types are great, but people have to realize that at at point, there is a health issue. Tbh, I feel like a hypocrite whenever I agree with this because I'm not the healthiest either. Sure, I'm thin but weight doesn't always correlate to health. And frankly, many of my health issues are self inflicted.
You realize there is a difference between being anorexic and skinny/thin, right? Skinny/thin is a body type (a perfectly acceptable body type, I might add), while anorexia is a disease.
Karen Lisa so is being morbidly obese like the woman in this video, yet thet are being encouraged too accept their bodies, even tho their health suffers under it
Skankhunt42 People are considered obese when they are overweight. That doesn't necessarily equal to an unhealthy lifestyle. I know enough people who exercize regularly, eat healthy and are still considered 'overweight' or even 'obese'. Of course there are unhealthy obese people, there are also unhealthy people whose weight is within a a 'normal' range (going from the BMI scale here, which I find ridiculous btw, because it doesn't allow for varying bone structure or muscle mass). And no one in the video says "Obesity is great, being unhealthy is fine". These women are simply allowed to feel comfortable in their own skin for once and they aren't shamed by ignorant people and media like they are every other day in their lives. And that's a beautiful thing.
Skankhunt42 So you would rather fat shame someone because that's going to make them feel good about themselves right? Sorry, but that's the dumbest idea ever. When a woman feels good about her body, she's MUCH more likely to want to do things for her body that will maintain or improve her overall health. Secondly, judging someone's health based on weight alone is something only ignorant people do. There are SO many more factors. I know of many healthy plus-size women and many many many skinny or average women whose exercise and diet regime would make any reasonable doctor cringe. Finally, don't people with disabilities and medical problems deserve to feel beautiful too? Some people have medical conditions which cause weight gain. Some people have medication which does the same. Should they be made to feel like they're not worthy of attention simply because of their size? The answer is NO!
All the people who disliked this are out there eating crappy and not exercising but then turning around and telling big girls to "Watch their health". Lol.
Sandy Smores Some people are obese and are happy being that way. How come underweight women can get away with being unhealthy and models? it's the same thing. They look different but both are unhealthy none the less. That being said just because you're unhealthy doesn't mean you can't feel beautiful and promote your beauty. Let others do what they want with their bodies and you do the same. That's just my way of looking at it anyways. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Sandy Smores So your a Doctor and have seen all these women and know their medical history? Oh you haven't? Then stop being mean. Putting people down is not going to make them lose weight. They don't support obesity. They support loving yourself no matter what size. You can acknowledge you have to change, but still love yourself because your more then just your body. Maybe they've been working out and trying to eat healthy, but we don't know. It's not easy for some people to lose weight or find the drive to lose weight, but putting them down isn't going to help. If you find it sick then don't watch. I could never look at someone's appearance and immediately think their gross. I obviously don't know them so maybe their struggling with something or have been trying so hard to lose weight. There's so much more to people then their body and no you don't have to find them attractive. Immediately writing them off is also very shallow.
I'm sorry but plus-size is not obese. Plus-size is supposed to be bigger women that are healthy, however some of these women are obviously not. I'm not hating on these women personally as i'm sure they are amazing people, but someone needs to tell them, specifically a doctor, that actually its not okay to let yourself become that way because you are actually harming yourself. Big is beautiful, but only when healthy.
sparks9185 amen. here in the uk, plus size starts at size 12, (American 8). I differ between 12 and 14, and I run every other day, gym, eat right and get all the sleep I should. big IS beautiful but only when you take care of yourself.
Rhys because people accept different kinds of body types now a days. And if your fat or skinny or whatever just accept it. Not use of tearing yourself down because of it, that's why
Cindy Sanchez so we don't care if they are fat? We don't care that they are going to die of heart disease or something because of their weight. Sorry, but it's true
It shouldn't be because it's like making diabetes a thing...it's unhealthy and not okay. They shouldn't be put down but they also shouldn't be idolized and being fat shouldn't EVER be a "good thing".
This will get lost in the comments but, I am 15, and my whole life I was obese. I used to always think that I should be happy of who I am, and all of that thinking stopped when I was 13 when I realized my eating habit will kill me before 50. I started to try to eat healthier and workout and do all the other healthy things, but as it turns out, if you weigh 250, it is pretty hard to slim down. So I had large variations in weight for a few months. Finally I asked my parents to give me the money that they would usually spend on food for one person, and I would use that to by my own healthy food for the week. This actually started to work out. And because we live far from the city, many times going to the gym was not an option. And I decided to do what I was passionate about in the sporting side of things, so I took up mountain biking, and I started building trails in the backyard. All of this allowed me to take control of my weight and finally I got down to 160 pounds after 19 months. Now the point of this really long comment was to say that being obese is NOT OKAY, and this comes from a previously obese person. I looked at my situation, and took control of it. Believe me, being thin is a lot more free than any weight over 180. And I understand that losing weight is EXTREMELY hard, I mean, i ate 3,500 calories a day before. And for the record, I worked full time in a sitting job, went to high school and college and I had no car and I was able to lose 90 pounds in 19 months, so I know that this is really unhealthy to say that being obese is beautiful, and looking back at my old photos I do not know how I lived before. The conclusion Being obese is not good for you, and it is extremely unhealthy, and this advice comes from a formerly obese person. Thanks for reading, and I hope you all live a long and healthy life :)
Samuel Aleks That’s pretty awesome. Good for you. Now this is inspirational. You faced reality and worked hard. At a very young age too. These grown women are delusional. Instead of admitting they’re obese. They pretend to be models.
this is a video about ads. you have NO idea what they are working towards health wise. But just because they arent " there yet" doesnt mean they shouldnt love themselves. Why do people assume because they love themselves now that they have no plans to better themselves in many different ways.. not just weight . jeez people are judgemental aholes
aggin swaggin no you don't because you constantly have to work to stay skinny so you can't actually settle and be happy, also beauty varies since it can only be determined by the party themselves so that statement maybe true for you but false billions of other people
iiMeziMouseii 14 unless you have a fat-fetish, i don't see how being obese is hot and by the way, who said working hard is bad. Your body releases endorphins that make you feel good after exercising, which makes you happy.
aggin swaggin I'm sorry you feel that way however beauty is determined by variables way past looks and even then people can still look beautiful and "fat"
Cydney Mellott I suppose they may do in the same way Eugenie cooney glorifys anorexia (as in not at all, she is just a person living her life on TH-cam) It will only seem that way to certain people. Personally I don't think it glorifies it at all. It's just saying that you can love yourself and be sexy despite an aspect we have been told is negative all our lives. I can watch this and think they look good despite their weight and admire their confidence but it doesn't make me want to be like them, it just makes me accept my negative body aspects that much more.
+Mark T so bc they are overweight they shouldn't feel good about themself at every stage of who they are, maybe they are trying to loose weight, maybe they arent. but they are a human being and deserve the right to be happy.. not be bullied and bashed. I am in the real world buddy. grow up.
Finally a makeup artist and hair stylist that knows what they're doing
brielle mendez about time
brielle mendez yesss😂
brielle mendez ikr
Cole Pratt it's cute how even if you tried you couldn't even get one of these girls if you tried
TinaQueenB no matter what you say showing any unhealthy weight is not okay
Promoting
+Michaela Moxley Your point is invalid to me. My mother is about the same size as them and she has no health issues whatsoever.
Genes make it so we look like humans, not whales.
Love this comment
Liz Giffen
THANK YOU
Yeah yeah. And dog turds are beautiful too.
Liz Giffen become overweightand then see who will call you beautiful lol
Liz Giffen you should watch onision's videos on this subject ;)
Why can't we ever have both plus size and "average" people, and skinny people all do beauty stuff together. It's either plus size is beautiful or skinny is but truth is most people are in between.
Because as soon as you put a normal size person or a model next to an obese person "plus-size modeling" will look even more unattractive. Beauty is relative.
different brands have different demographics, asking gucci to do plus size is like asking a plus size specific store to use a thin model xD it doesnt sell
They did that with their recreation of the vs fashion show
Madison Rose you might deny it, but being fat is a choice, shops don’t represent plus sized models cause they don’t want it to look like they are supporting heart attacks and the inability to get up on your own 🤷🏽♀️
@@Skantezz That depends, tbh. Blogilates features a lot of different sized models on her athletic clothing stores.
Ikr
Dass sexcyst
I would be pretty embarrassed if my privates start showing so why not try to lighten the mood with some humor. I honestly think it was just a casual joke.
Actually I think the try guys did have to go through HR before they did the stuff
why can't there just use average woman for this to make it more relatable
tammy johnson They are average woman.
Charlotte D no they are obese women
Charlotte D average where?
the average us woman's size is a 12-14
tammy johnson right??
I love seeing different representations of men and women in the media. And dude, girls with the scarves should have a modeling career omg
Eibhlin totally agree! And also the perfume add lady. I like that❤️
Eibhlin they'll never become models
Too fat and too gross
NO NAME just your opinion... maybe not. But you know what? They are already FAMOUS on TH-cam and modeled also in other videos and were sooo damn pretty. No one forces you to watch them! Or date them! So calm down, date/hit on women you like. Period. Stop the hate, please.
Kamila Bezděková actually it's a fact. Hence the point of this video. They will never become real models. I'll never join the NBA. Am I complaining? No. That's life
Some are more athletic
Some are prettier
Some are smarter
Imitation doesn't produce authentic value
Anyone can take a good photo if they have their hair done professionally , makeup applied properly, the lighting is right, appropriate props and clothes on, thoes photos were perfect and you all looked great*
Kristin in the thumbnail looks like she should be a model
Wayzz * Definitely! Kristen has a beautiful face! She’d just gave to lose a lot of weight
Wayzz * no she dosent
nah she is obese and dying because of it
Pop soda Obesity = health problems = X-X
Pop soda That’s just what I heard
They all looked great but KRISTIN TOOK THE GAME TO A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL AND THEN STABBED IT MULTIPLE TIMES, AND KILLED IT. KRISTIN KILLED IT😍
Gabby Gill she is such an inspiration to all girls
Cole Pratt shut up no one asked for you're opinion
Cole Pratt Kristin actually has a condition that causes her to carry the majority of her fat around her waist area. As far as I'm aware, she lives quite a healthy lifestyle.
She is an inspiration to girls as an example of how you can love yourself now while working always to improve. AHOLE
Cole Pratt you don't have be a jerk about it
I'm just pissed off because they include plus size women and super skinny women but what about us inbetweeners like there's no positivity for us
Yeah, now and days people make plus sized women to be "the average woman" but we get no recognition XD.I We're pretty much the middle child
Flowey ikr. It's all about 'supermodel thin' or 'curvy/plus size/ 'the new healthy' I'm a few pounds underweight for my bmi but honestly just an I between weight would be great to see, we've got the curves and the flat stomachs half the time lol
Orla Davey ITS SO TRUE THO
+Pickled Children who cares? Why do women need so much representation to feel beautiful? I'm an average bodied dude and couldn't care less than only buff guys are represented in the media.
? there's plenty of positivity and people who are "inbetween" aren't hated for their weight
Just wondering why isn't there Plus size men models???
None Of your business right?!?!
1. Because fat men realize they aren’t model material 2. Because that wouldn’t fit into the feminazi agenda
Because they don't lie to themselves
There are
There are some, not many though, theyre mostly not that big though, just not ripped
They have size 0 models and plus size models. What about the ones in the middle? I'm not exactly skinny but I'm not plus either.
same
I’m late to the party but many “plus size” models are size 8-12. The fashion industry hasn’t been good about doing real.
kristen should style her hair more often like this! & all of them look so pretty!!
min suga genius jjangjjangman bbongbbong your username😂😂
min suga genius jjangjjangman bbongbbong yes she definitely should
***** OF COURSE LOL
It looks swagalicious.
min suga genius jjangjjangman bbongbbong ur right she looks amazing
They all looked stunning
Dat Boi no
Dat Boi Yeah they look awesome!!! :D
EVERYONE IN EARTH LOOK STUNNING NOT ONLY FAT LADIES
They may be unhealthy but that might not be their fault. I have a relative who works out every day and she's still 200 pounds. I'm skinny at 100 pounds and I still don't think that people who can't control their weight are unattractive. Look at Kristin! She looks amazing.
They all looked unhealthy
Here's what I think: There should definitely be more diversity in the modelling industry. Shaved heads, people who have different body types. Even some bigger people. We shouldn't only be viewing thin as beautiful. But obesity should NOT be promoted as beautiful. It is not healthy. Yes, an obese person can be a good person, and have a beautiful soul, but we shouldn't be promoting this body type as something we should strive for. Plus size models are fine. Thin models are fine. But no obese models or severely skinny models. That is damaging to society.
Fairly Local yeah. Some of these women were very overweight, but to me they were all beautiful.
*****
LOLL ^
+sososohaunted
Yes.
I didn’t even recognise Kristen in the thumbnail, wow, she has so much potential to become a model.
Ikr!
Anna Mae I specifically watched this because I was in disbelief that the woman in that thumbnail was kristin
She wouldn’t be hired that often companies want real MODELS that actually look attractive and are in good health not a diabetic shamoo whale
This is a joke right?
Are you high?
To y'all complaining about how this is "glorifying obesity" and that fat is "unhealthy": I hope you say the same thing next time you see underweight girls in videos or pictures! :)
hoo hoo clearly you don't know how people on the internet are. They would.
I think unhealthy is unhealthy regardless of what end of the spectrum.
Having heart disease or having the flu still makes you unhealthy in both cases... Just like being too skinny or being too fat are unhealthy.
Kristin looks super different. I couldn't even tell it was her.
Actually everyone in here is SLAYING
+Diane Buffet-Mogel and every other add is glorifying being under weight
You're confusing underweight with skinny. Skinny is healthy.
Is she the bald one?
+Hey Hey LOL so wrong it's pathetic
Why is there so many hate comments
Ok being fat is not good for your health but I'm pretty sure if their weight is affecting their health they will fix that but if not then good for them so leave them alone
I'm actually pluse size and I'm pretty healthy so stop linking weight with health
Bethany James yea like why are they so pressed about what other people are doing? Why not stay in your lane better yourself instead of wasting time criticizing others?
Bethany James exactly!
Bethany James
IKR
Bethany James plus size doesnt mean obese like everyone here in the vid.
Bethany James I believe it's bc we have ads being banned from having models that are too skinny and there's such an uproar on this, people tend to question the other spectrum too
Kristin killed it. That looked like a legit High Fashion add, which you can actually expect to see in Vogue or Harpers Bazaar.
jazzmyne could wear anything and make it look cute, she's goals af
ikr
YUS
how about the plus size guys tho they deserve some love
no plus size people deserve anything beside a free membership to the gym
Sr_Og And a diet plan
I thinks it is more how there is more social pressures on women to look beutiful, while, although there are pressure on men as well, we still live in a patriachal society where it is expected that a man bring money home
good point! I would love it if they did a video on plus size men as well
+Blue March Hare *Citation Needed*
I guess they don't request that much in gender studies.
Your comment is amazing!
AMEN
Leena Taha This is so true! But still, most model aren't at a healthy weight right now...:(
Leena Taha I agree to a certain point but I think they should advertise people who are...... bigger not extremely obese but at least an average size or chunky. models now are still scary thin
Sky Blood, but neither of the extremes is good.
THE THUMBNAIL. 👏👏👏
sharny hope foreal
It's better than the actual ad in my opinion
Lèaïyy Eva Rosé in your unprofessional opinion
Is on point
Lèaïyy Eva Rosé idk i feel like kristen looks kinda angry while Gigi looks more neutral but kinda suprised idk i feel like i prefer the Gigi add
They should try this with men too.
Buuut they wont
Amber Margelis Hah I have more subscribers than you!
on behalf the men, we are ok because we already know obesity is a risk factor, not a healthy one so we kindly reject your remark
Naa, most of us couldnt care less, we usually dont try to be something we are not.
They're overweight but not obese. This is still under healthy conditions. ..obese is morbid.
are you blind? ALL of them are obese!
Dennis Krabben Ikr they would never recreate it with underweight girls :/
Theyre not glorifying being overweight, but theyre glorifying being confident and loving the skin you're in
+SLIZEY SLIZE hahaha
SLIZEY SLIZE holy
SparklingJuice247
unless you are a short asian man. then it's okay for women to insult you since women...
1) are driven by biology to choose good genes
2) deserve the best
3) *generic response about female empowerment*
SparklingJuice247 YESSS 🙌🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
SLIZEY SLIZE yeah her skin not yours. soo y u care?.
one thing i will agree with is that these models work hard for their bodies. maybe the industry needs to show more inclusivity, but hitting the gym and eating healthy is a full time job for most models. these ladies calling them out for being bad examples is kind of diminishing their efforts.
awatif omar it's more the fact that the women in the models are the only body type that is shown. that's why people have a problem with the modelling world, it's because they only show one body type that has generally been photoshopped beyond belief, so people don't see themselves in the media, which can lead to a number of long term issues
awatif your right
awatif omar it's not about the models it's the beauty industry and society ,because everyone feels like they have to look like this
What are these "long term issues" you speak of for people not "seeing themselves" in the media lmao
awatif omar yeah i agree
The Rebel Media response to this video was beautiful
Masterpsflood Gavin is a G
Gavin was so right, these girls are so unhealthy its a shame
link?
Link?
just type Reble media plus size women recreate fashion ads and i think it'll come up
Dear Buzzfeed, if you want to share a message about "love one's body no matter what", you should make a video with all kinds of body types.
LeMon They have, well, with skinny, busty, tall, short and curvy ladies.
Hagar The Forsaken Just wondering, what exactly is that?
Hagar The Forsaken Oh okay, thanks
no no then they wont have any excuses to be overweight
Man, how did you graduate school when you miss the point so hard?
I love the way they avoid putting the way the models look down, I applaud how there not calling them to skinny or unrealistic bodies because most of them are genetically blessed, there are a lot of girls like that out there me included where I just have a high metabolism I eat just as much as the next person it just metabolises faster. and normally plus size women put down smaller women calling them skinny bitches or we need to eat more but here there not, there just putting it into a different perspective which I love.
I agree.
YES. JUST YES.
that's how u feel nice words
Good luck!
Thank you so much for your supportive comments! I have considered your advices and I affirm i'm on the right track. Once again, thank you!
I agree 100%! I would recommend drinking lots of water and doing workouts that you find fun so you don’t dread working out! Keep us updated ❤️
Stay consistent with your weight control!
Can we all just be honest and address the fact that jazzmyne and sheridan's photo looks like 1000x better than the actual Burberry add?
no
YAASSS
Panda Rojo ya i liked their version more
Panda Rojo yassss
Yassss girl
can we talk about how bomb af Kristen, Sheridan and Jazzmyne looked though?
omg same
More like fat man bomb.
i was thnking the sammeeee thng.
more like you are just a jealous bomb.
Basil In the Forest jeez let her just enjoy the video, and stop hating
I love how they reacted!! So much love for these ladies they deserve to feel self love ❤️
Everyone deserves to feel self love 😊
Its Ruko just like you then?
Its Ruko how do you know they aren't working on it?
you can also have self love without heart disease
I deserve self-love too, AND I'm not at risk of heart attack.
"The ad is seen as prococative because plus size women aren't seen as sexual beings" It's seen as provocative because it's a line for underwear...
Myna Meisno-Trose 🤣🤣🤣
Why is Buzzfeed trying to glorify fat people? I don't see them glorifying skinny people or the in betweeners. Being fat is not healthy. Stop Buzzfeed. Stop.
Watch out, you might trigger some people
doesn't mean it can't be beautiful. does that mean a person with cancer or another illness can't be beautiful?
I really liked the one where the two girls were topless, its just so fab
Agreed! My favorite one..I swear it looked better to me than the original. They were just killin' it the way they were looking into the camera...FIERCE!!
Natasha Trigger you sound like my kinda lady ;) I'm gay k
Me too! I'd pick that over the one they were based of.
Natasha Trigger the one that is was based off seemed seriously ill :( I worry about models some days and the stories you hear.
Made me vomit
not to make this about me but when are the mid range body types (sizes like 8-14) going to have like a "we're awesome too" movement, because we're not like "damn she thicc" but we're not like "aww she's so tiny" we're just kinda too small to be curvy too big to be thin?? i need somebody to start a movement with me
Lyn K maybe just you
BooksMusicAndSarcasm Those sizes are average and don't need a movement neither does the new obese movement but still. Also I'm a size 14 and i am hella thick.
Allen Bohanan I can't tell who you're talking to, are you talking to me?
BooksMusicAndSarcasm oh sorry I forgot to tag
Lyn K Uhhh you have a repulsive personality. Why should women care if they are being repulsed by men if they are comfortable in their own bodies? Word of advice for you, a woman-objectifying garbage, women aren't made to attract men.
as a person who is underweight, im struggling too. the fact that some people say that im anorexic when the fact that i tried so bad to gain weight, it hurts me. one once said that i look like a plank and bones. 😞
u don’t listen to ANYONE who says something bad about u and i hope you are healthy and feeling amazing cause u are amazing
Ah yes I get that all the time
Same I feel your pain. Non of the women in my family on my father's side ever gained over 100 lb until they were over 25 or 30
And all the women on my mother's side are on the heavier side but have super bid curves because of it.
I have no curves and I am super thin only about 85lb at 16. It's come to a point where I don't we're shorts or short sleeves because I want to hide myself and I have turned around or covered any mirrors or reflective objects so I don't see myself
I eat healthier and I eat all the time to try and gain weight, it's so hard to gain weight and people need to realize being skinny in bot anyways great and fun
Everis Stodder exactly
Balloon Sage they deserve people not to criticise them for being big
Balloon Sage yes starving kids do deserve food but they deserve not to be criticised ok
+
beafish123 what why the +
Kristen looked beeeeeeeautful!!!
OurPeanutGallerie she slayed ❤❤❤
OurPeanutGallerie in my opinion she looked better than the model
OurPeanutGallerie When I saw her on the thumbnail I was like work it Kristen
OurPeanutGallerie who's that lol
Dominique Campbell YAAAAS!!
There is a difference between fat and curvy
Faye they aren't fat.
Salem Ross how are they not
Salem Ross they are tho, I would even say it's unhealthy
they have curves...please stop being so rude and get a life
3:35 isn't fat? Since when?
Can we please have plus size men photoshoot? Not demanding or anything but I'd kinda like to see them too
Good idea
I understand why people are saying that buzzfeed is "promoting an unhealthy lifestyle" but people can be overweight and perfectly healthy so please don't be so quick to judge.
IF A PERSON IS HEALTHY AND HAPPY WHY SHOUKD THEY CHANGE THE WAY THEIR BODY LOOKS
But they are obese not overweight.
Sakura Harano but somebody can be a size 6 and be so unhealthy so what's the difference
Lauren You know damn well there's a difference. That's like saying, "non-smokers can be unhealthy too, so why assume a smoker is unhealthy?"
Katie Brown that's totally true!!
Katie Brown THANK YOU!!!!
Let's try and bring some positivity to this comment section! These women looked incredible
Jiyū it's to late for that I mean everyone in the comments are dickheads
Yasssssssss
Distance zDelta Well that's your opinion, not mine :) she is so goals
Fat was never incredible.
Ibrahim Yousef we are talking about her face, I mean her body is amazing but we aren't talking about that
There's a difference between Plus-Sized women (curvy) and Fat woman! Some of those women are just fat! And stop trying to make them think thats good! Being healthy is good! You can be curvy and healthy at the same time!
GravnHD fat in my opinion is 350 pounds and up. Anything under that is just curvy.
GravnHD true
GravnHD very true voice of reason
GravnHD some people are born with dieseases which make it either hard to lose weight or make them keep weight on. You can be "fat" and healthy. How about next time you try to build "plus sized" women up,instead of bringing them down
As long as they can do what we can and they love theirself there's nothing wrong with them.
Kristens was so good tho
Emily Kate I seriously love her! Y'all are free to make fanfics about us
I agre
there is a difference between being curvy/a little overweight and being fat. some of these women are just fat, and it's not healthy. it's kind of weird that they're promoting something REALLY UNHEALTHY.
Stay in your own lane bro
That sounds mean, but in a way I agree
alvabc I'm curvy and not overweight but still have curves on my hips and have feminine parts while being healthy
alvabc you could be big and healthy
***** "if a child's doing bad in school, Just call him stupid" that's how you sound. You don't care aboutvtgeir health
We have to stop accepting being fat as healthy
but you see the problem is being fat doesn't mean not healthy either, i know lots of big people who are super fit
THERES A DIFFERENCE. we are not bling you know. we can tell when someone is fat or not and none of these people are super fit
Rabbizz1 We also need to stop accepting people being jerks because they are insecure about themselves. So shut up. Not your body not your life.
+Sr_Og oh... i am so sorry, i didn't realize you had checked their heart rates while they're working out. sorry, my mistake
There not saying fat is healthy there saying you could feel good in ur own skin
As liberal as I am. I'm tired buzzfeed. I'm really tired.
Yorkshire Lad yes
Isa bella then why are you watching the video stupid
Yorkshire Lad -_-
xCallMeDannix what a shame. You should know that people can say whatever they want.
keiry valle I think they should have some constructive criticism. Change up their content a little.
Why isn't the Calvin Klein girl wearing a crop top?
Because even Buzzfeed knows not to push the limit too far.
Because that would have look ridiculous.
Maybe she’s not comfortable?
peacendpola23 why?
Omg they look gorgeous especially Kristin's one and Sheridan's and Jassmyne's one they look better then the orginal😭😭
*original
xx_zahxa_xx ik. Kristin looks so good
Jonathan Moy cool nice to know 😂 and couldn't care less
The Tommy Hilfiger one and the Burberry one could be legit adds now they know damn well the Calvin Klein one was just wrong and trifling they made her look like a pillow when they could of got more flattering shots and clothes
SOOO many of these comments are rude and offensive! What's wrong with promoting body positivity and loving who you are? I want to cry... How rude have people become?
Mikayla Jenene Yeah we should love that we chose to be unhealthy and have others think it's okay!!
Mikayla Jenene loving your body, while its killing you yay..
Aidan Cusack These women obviously don't feel comfortable. They are probably trying to lose weight. And the rude comments probably make them more self concious. All I'm saying is that we need to let themm love themselves. It's not your body is it? So let them be!
And what do everyones rude comments accomplish?
Mikayla Jenene let them be but dont encourage it and promote it as beautiful
Kristen looks gorgeous
She killed it
& so did everyone else
can i just say that Kristen legit stunned me, SOOO FABULOUS
Madison Workman sooo true
these comments honestly brought me to complete tears... why is everyone so full of hatred towards these women...
Kpop Trash I really don't know but i'm happy at least someone like you sees this wrong. it gives me hope ☺️
Cause they are fat and unhealthy! Thats not plus size. They did nothing for themselve to get any gram lighter.
Piko Balla Well maybe you should stop hating and move along because their health has nothing to do with you
I pay taxes into our health system here in my country. Less obese people mean that i have to pay less into the system. Normal sized people arent going to doctors as often as these ladies.
Yet there is no reason to criticize somebody about there weight I suggest you leave it at that
They're so beautiful! 😭😭😭
lol where
BackAtItAgainW/Mirre I knowwww right!? Being obese is totes cool huh?!
+solidshrubs1522
pls leave
Anjelyn Roberts killing yourself with alcohol or cigarettes isn't beautiful either but a great majority of our population keep doing that too
TheMaxximo87 that's not true
You don't understand the point honey.
Mette Karlsen she does.
The topless models were so but so anorexic...
you can be over weight and healthy. just like you can be skinny and unhealthy
That was a counterintuitive point right there. Also just an oxymoron. You just mixed healthy and overweight. Overweight means you're not healthy. Which means you can't be overweight and healthy.
Thank you to all the girls in this video! It's really empowered me to be more confident In myself. You're all so beautiful!❤️
Ashley Beck and how does this comment involve you in any way?
5:13 okay she could be a real model. She looked AMAZING!
Mariana Taborda no
Completely agree. Also the girl before her!
Totally! That one and the group shot were crazy spot on. I'd buy that product, haha
Mariana Taborda agreed
The girl at 2:38 her words “she’s very beautiful, tall, skinny, and I’m the total opposite of that” TO ALL GIRLS AND WOMEN skinny does not mean beautiful it’s the beauty carried inside
yes but obesity is not beautiful.
It's just a trend I've noticed of late.
windycitydreaming yeah I haven noticed that
I have been scrooling through the comments looking for a good way to phrase that and you did it perfectly
The girl with the pink hair was adorable
yeeeeaaaahh.... sure
In what world?
She was about to die
She is morally obese, she's going to die
Look, don’t judge her! She is beautiful in every way, shape, and form.
Why don't they do average girls remodeling ads?????
Jess Crafts define average
umm what is average??
someone who looks normal, not too skinny, not obese.
Not too fat, not too thin. You now, average.
The "average" size of women in the USA is 14.
I believe every size and body is gorgeous in their own way. But just as long as their healthy
Jasmine Ray EXACTLY
...And you have no way of knowing whether a person is healthy or not by just looking at their body.
So someone with cancer isn't gorgeous and is unacceptable to you..
😕
@@melt.3568 she's talking about health...cancer can be a lot, or even most of the time prevented by healthy lifestyle...
@Mel T She was talking about issues directly caused by your body type, so yes if your weight causes you to have cancer then that is an issue.
Lose weight while you still can
im so happy for you! i really hope that you have confidence and be the amazing person you are.
Kawaii Cookie Cats you go girl!!!
Kawaii Cookie Cats I agree I'm not plus sized yet but I'm getting there and I have always been the "bigger" than all the other girls I knew and I love watching these video so empowering
hahahahaha u fats
all of these ladies look stunning, but KRISTIN I DIDNT EVEN RECOGNIZE YOU. DAAAAMN YOU LOOK STUNNING
I love the message of the video
SUZANNE VARGAS you’re like the only person here who isn’t somehow offended by the video XD
SUZANNE VARGAS the message is glorifying obesity. No it’s not something you should love. These women are so unhealthy it’s sad.
I dont
What is the message? Keep eating cheetos and tacos and chuggin diet Coke 24/7 and you are fine?
It feels like the only type of videos buzzfeed post is "plus size women" videos. Of course it's amazing that buzzfeed make theese videos about plus size women but its just to many of theese videos. My opinion
Sofia exactly!
Jillian Edwards i think all women are beautiful too! its just that it feels like buzzfeed is out of ideas
Jazzmyne should be model!! it doesn't matter if she's plus sized she's sooo pretty and she rocks a shaved head and she looks stunning !!
honestly i had no clue what that was
She gave me diabetes just looking at her
Donnie Thornberry that's not nice!
Sorry Niamh but that was very borderline, in life you will find much worse.
Fahrenheit You gave me cancer
I really love it when BuzzFeed does these type of videos
yea, promoting obesity is always a great think to do
you guys knows that women's is hard to accept her self if her weight is ok or it should be thinner or if it is too thin should eat more. but the truth the video only shows you have to love you as you are if you do not accept you as you then who does not matter if you're fat or thin the important thing is love yourself.
SAME I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
WHISKERS wow who what?
jennifer palma These are the ugliest whales I've ever seen.
Is it just me or do I prefer Kristin over Gigi for the Tommy Hilfiger ad. Like she looks amazing . The all killed the photo shoot. They all looked bomb AF
Who ever is reading this, i hope you have a wonderful morning, evening or night
Umernaid 11 IT IS THE AFTERNOON
Just kidding...
Umernaid 11 you just made my day
Umernaid 11 Your profile picture is just as precious as your comment. ❤️❤️❤️
Umernaid 11 awwwww thanks 😁
Its a avocado! Thanks (:
Whoever told these girls that this was a good idea is either terribly cruel or horrifyingly delusional.
They all looked so beautiful!
Gabrielle ikr
Gabrielle NOT
yes
Never said that it was 'my thing'. Just giving compliments.
Gabrielle hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
You guys are KILLING IT! YOU GO GURRRLLLSSS!
they are absolutely beautiful
Malik Allaham whats wrong with spreading positivity
they are tho
They really are
Have anyone of y'all hating thought about that they may be plus size because they have some kind of illness or anything?
They're all beautiful in my opinion.
+Golisses Oli...so is ur stupid name
This is not promoting being unhealthy. Its promoting self love. I won't hate myself until I get to an acceptable size or allow anyone to make me feel bad for being the size that I am. What if I never get an acceptable size?! I'm gonna love myself regardless and feel good about myself regardless of where i am in MY journey. For encouragement, pick up the holy book of Bangtan, Cypher Part 4
I love I love I love myself!
I love I love I love myself!
I know I know I know myself!
Ya playa haters you should love yourself!!!
BRRRRRRah! LOL :D
meth2anie thank you someone who finally understands 😒😌
meth2anie i busted out laughing at the BTS reference i wasn't expecting that lol
M. Maron ...thats the thing... no one is blaming... can't I just be fat and happy and you can be fit and happy and she can be skinny and happy and he can be underweight and happy and we can all try to better ourselves and be happy... can't I just care about MY happiness without having to cater to other people's opinions... damn!
Kristin actually looked really pretty
The photos side by side look like me before thanksgiving and me after thanksgiving
Yes we should show loads of different body shapes but just not the unhealthy body's (obesity or anorexia) we don't want to normalize life threatening situations .
Although curvy is great and so Is skinny !
AMY BETH some of these ladies might have a problem, they could have a low matabilism meaning they cant really control their body type
Come on, Everything_A, anyone who eats less than 1000 calories a day CAN, in fact, control their body type.
Everything_A everything can be controlled. Metabolism is a stupid excuse.
yeah... different body types are great, but people have to realize that at at point, there is a health issue. Tbh, I feel like a hypocrite whenever I agree with this because I'm not the healthiest either. Sure, I'm thin but weight doesn't always correlate to health. And frankly, many of my health issues are self inflicted.
My girls Kristen, jazzmyne and Sheridan look hot af
doesn't she!! gorgeous girl
And Sheridan, I love these buzz feed gals
Ana Castaneda ikr
Ana Castaneda Kristin was on point! Man the other girls were gorge...but Kristin looked especially beautiful. It looked like she had darker hair too?
Lauras Bloody Life trueeeee
should we also encourage anorexic girls that they are beautifull and they don't have to change even tho they are literally dying
Skankhunt42 yeah, so they don't starve themselves anymore. duhhh
All the people who disliked this are out there eating crappy and not exercising but then turning around and telling big girls to "Watch their health". Lol.
How can people be so negative towards other human beings? We're all human and being rude to one another isn't a way I'd want to spend my free time.
Underweight people are bullied, too. Plus some models go through a ton of editing to make them look skinnier than they actually are.
Sandy Smores Also what a way to send your time one Earth. Spreading hate because of peoples appearances.
LaMereACaniche Try reading my whole comment.
+RainyLeaf yep. They eat badly and don't do much exercise, it doesn't really take a genius to work that out
sparks9185 amen. here in the uk, plus size starts at size 12, (American 8). I differ between 12 and 14, and I run every other day, gym, eat right and get all the sleep I should. big IS beautiful but only when you take care of yourself.
RainyLeaf nope, not if you do it properly
why is fat acceptance a thing?
Rhys because people accept different kinds of body types now a days. And if your fat or skinny or whatever just accept it. Not use of tearing yourself down because of it, that's why
Cindy Sanchez so we don't care if they are fat? We don't care that they are going to die of heart disease or something because of their weight. Sorry, but it's true
Gamer Zeke am I saying that? Ofc I care but why tear them down to be healthy?
It shouldn't be because it's like making diabetes a thing...it's unhealthy and not okay. They shouldn't be put down but they also shouldn't be idolized and being fat shouldn't EVER be a "good thing".
Cindy Sanchez well it shouldn't be a thing.
Omg! Kelsey rose LOOKED AMAZING!!!
The conclusion
Being obese is not good for you, and it is extremely unhealthy, and this advice comes from a formerly obese person.
Congrats!
Wait.. If you're 15, how are you in college.. And of course you don't have a car, you're 15. Congrats tho, if it's true.
Hi I’m 13 and about 200 I think and there are not many was for me to loose weight but if you have any advice please tell me
this is a video about ads. you have NO idea what they are working towards health wise. But just because they arent " there yet" doesnt mean they shouldnt love themselves. Why do people assume because they love themselves now that they have no plans to better themselves in many different ways.. not just weight . jeez people are judgemental aholes
Trust me, you really start loving your body more, once you start losing weight.
aggin swaggin yeah no
iiMeziMouseii 14 it's true, you feel so accomplished when you have a healthier, better-looking body
aggin swaggin no you don't because you constantly have to work to stay skinny so you can't actually settle and be happy, also beauty varies since it can only be determined by the party themselves so that statement maybe true for you but false billions of other people
iiMeziMouseii 14 unless you have a fat-fetish, i don't see how being obese is hot
and by the way, who said working hard is bad. Your body releases endorphins that make you feel good after exercising, which makes you happy.
aggin swaggin I'm sorry you feel that way however beauty is determined by variables way past looks and even then people can still look beautiful and "fat"
Does anyone else hate when people call themselves 'plus size or curvy' when they are clearly obese?
Some of these women can definitely be professional models.
"Stop glorifying obesity" Okay? Listen, please tell me where in this video they said "It's okay to be obese." or even "These girls are too skinny."
These women are amazing for having the confidence to do this photoshoot.
AMEN, SISTER
Cydney Mellott I suppose they may do in the same way Eugenie cooney glorifys anorexia (as in not at all, she is just a person living her life on TH-cam) It will only seem that way to certain people.
Personally I don't think it glorifies it at all. It's just saying that you can love yourself and be sexy despite an aspect we have been told is negative all our lives.
I can watch this and think they look good despite their weight and admire their confidence but it doesn't make me want to be like them, it just makes me accept my negative body aspects that much more.
By making it about "muh plus size uwu"
By making them feel OVER confident is making them look like being fat is acceptable.
Omg Kristen is LITERALLY SLAYING MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE UGHHHHH😍😍😍 she honestly looks as good if not better that the model
She will die due to heart disease i guarantee it, literally slaying her own existence :^)
Jassy's Life at least your being honest
They all look bada***, GO GIRLS !!!!
BLUEJAY YEAH! GO DIABETES AND HEART DISEASE!
Dead Inside your comment 😂 yasss go diabetes 😂
+Mark T they can lose weight but you'll still be a miserable heartless person..
+Mark T so bc they are overweight they shouldn't feel good about themself at every stage of who they are, maybe they are trying to loose weight, maybe they arent. but they are a human being and deserve the right to be happy.. not be bullied and bashed. I am in the real world buddy. grow up.
I imagine their asses do look pretty bad. As in absolutely revolting.
“You can still look amazing if you have a big chest or some curves” uhh sis being fat and curvy are very different
charley marie um tf
True
I see no lies
charley marie straight facts, that Calvin Klein ad was...kinda depressing, she looked awful, the rest of the girls slayed tho
