this video is honestly so important. when i try on a clothing item thats "one size fits all" and its too small on me, i feel bad about my body. cause then i feel like it should be called "one size fits all except for madison", when in reality i'm average sized for a 5'2 fifteen year old. which basically means that "one size fits all" is either going to be too small or too big for most people, and will only fit maybe 15% of girls my age.

Thats what happens to us, girls with very wide hips, when something has a small waist you have to pull it up or it wont zip, sometimes its kinda hard find clothes that match our hips, waist, and its long enough, usually its lose in our waist, or (Like in the video) its pretty short

Everyone's saying 'not every woman is beautiful'. I don't think it's about looking great in everything you wear, being super skinny, being super chunky, it's about feeling comfortable with yourself an loving yourself for who you are. We shouldn't all have to be size 0 to be loved. I'm size 10-12 and I wouldn't even say I'm thin. It doesn't matter how you look, it matters who you are as a person and how you see yourself and others. Yes, you can get to a point where you're so obese it's unhealthy. But if a person is happy to be that obese, it's nobody else's place to tell them to lose weight or change themselves.
Your heart is in the right place, but obesity causes death and health complications. You can't be happily obese. Accepting yourself isn't about a certain weight. It's just about loving yourself regardless of your weight, but being lazy and purposefully neglecting your health when you have no medical condition holding you back from being a healthy weight is just a sad excuse. People like that need help. Being obese at all is unhealthy so please don't undermine how harmful it is to the body. Being body positive means being self-aware about your body too.

It doesn't fit you because you are not meant to be morbidly obese. It's not healthy, it doesn't look good (no matter how many times you try to make people think so). The reason why lara pulled up her skirt high was because of her hips if you look at her body she has a shorter torso tbh and her hips are higher and it looks like she has hip dips, we kind of have the same body type and I also do do it cause it hard to fit skirts/bottoms.

I'm not sure why, but some people get really attached to the idea of being a certain number/size. Also, they have 000 and 00 right before 0 as well. So even 0 itself isn't the smallest you can go. Crazyismyhometown it isn't easy but maintaining 250+ lbs to gaining more weight gradually isn't good. i know it's hard to lose weight for some people but at least try? they don't have to be fit or skinny. average - 20 lbs heavier than ideal weight is better than being obese
+Joshua Sinogaya I have PCOS. When you have that, losing weight is far more difficult than you can imagine. My hormones are out of whack where I produce too much testosterone, it can effect my sleep, and if things went downhill too fast I could have to undergo surgery that would effectively ensure that I'll never be able to have kids - and I'm not even 30. Quite a bit of it is genetic, and I got hit from both sides of my family. There will always be some people like me that won't be able to lose weight or keep it off. Unfortunately I have to deal with assholes (and no I'm not saying you are) who I know laugh me or say I'm not human because I'm obese, but had didn't have a choice. People don't realize how much that hurts and makes you hate yourself.
I love Kristin for mentioning how yes, the clothes market generally has more clothes options for skinny girls, but there are people such as myself who barely fit into a size 0 and struggle to find something that fits. Im really tall and a stick basically so finding something that will fit for more than a year is hard.

Here goes everyone talking about fat people. Something that needs to be set straight, is that just because you're fat doesn't mean you're unhealthy. Yes, you weigh more than you should (adding any adjectives before "more" is unnecessary). However, being fat doesn't always affect your health. I am classified as "obese" because I'm 5'3" and obviously don't weight 125 pounds. Yet, my vitals are perfect. I've been checked for diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and they have all come out normal. And I've been struggling with my weight my whole life (and I don't expect any uplifting words or any of that shit, because I know it's a lifestyle, and I know being fat is my choice because I'm afraid of change even though I know it will make my life 239857428034% better.) Anyways, I can run a mile faster than most of the skinny bitches in my class, because all they do is sit around, eat junk food, and never exercise. I, however, dance everyday, and have a semi-physically demanding job. Not to mention, I do all the work around the house. Anyway, I don't need to plead my case to anyone, because it's honestly none of your business. But, not all fat people are the same. We aren't all lazy pigs. Not gonna lie, portion control is a problem, even when it comes to veggies, white meat, and blah blah blah. It's not that I don't eat healthy, I've always loves grilled chicken, broccoli, carrots, potatos, corn, spinach, squash, salmon, etc. I just love too much of it. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm overweight, but I'm healthy. My blood pressure is good, and so are my other vitals. I was in volleyball and track from 7th to 12th grade in school, and I was in weight and speed everyday. My mile time constantly went down throughout those six years, even though I didn't lose weight. I was getting stronger, but I wasn't getting thinner. Still my own fault though, I do understand that.
Yeah. Just because we're healthy, doesn't mean we don't have unhealthy habits that have gotten or kept us where we're at. I did field in high school.And we had to run with the track players. Best believe I was in the back, but I wasn't last. My problem is portion control. I used to come home and have a huge bowl of cereal almost everyday. And when we have dinner, I take more than 1 portion (because "1 portion" is the dumbest shit I ever heard). But, I don't snack, and I don't have that problem where people go to the fridge every 10 minutes until they settle on something. But, those are my problems, and my choices. And as much as I'd like to blame it on how I was raised, I still know better.
I mean, it's not really your fault? It's just a bad habit. Kinda like biting your nails, or popping your pimples. Except, it can hurt you in the future. I'm sure breaking our habits aren't that hard. I don't think it's about looking great in everything you wear, being super skinny, being super chunky, it's about feeling comfortable with yourself an loving yourself for who you are. We shouldn't all have to be size 0 to be loved. I'm size 10-12 and I wouldn't even say I'm thin. It doesn't matter how you look, it matters who you are as a person and how you see yourself and others. Yes, you can get to a point where you're so obese it's unhealthy. But if a person is happy to be that obese, it's nobody else's place to tell them to lose weight or change themselves.

My hormones are out of whack where I produce too much testosterone, it can effect my sleep, and if things went downhill too fast I could have to undergo surgery that would effectively ensure that I'll never be able to have kids - and I'm not even 30. Quite a bit of it is genetic, and I got hit from both sides of my family. There will always be some people like me that won't be able to lose weight or keep it off. Unfortunately I have to deal with assholes (and no I'm not saying you are) who I know laugh me or say I'm not human because I'm obese, but had didn't have a choice. People don't realize how much that hurts and makes you hate yourself.

Something that needs to be set straight, is that just because you're fat doesn't mean you're unhealthy. Yes, you weigh more than you should (adding any adjectives before "more" is unnecessary). However, being fat doesn't always affect your health. I am classified as "obese" because I'm 5'3" and obviously don't weight 125 pounds. Yet, my vitals are perfect. I've been checked for diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and they have all come out normal. And I've been struggling with my weight my whole life (and I don't expect any uplifting words or any of that shit, because I know it's a lifestyle, and I know being fat is my choice because I'm afraid of change even though I know it will make my life 239857428034% better.) Anyways, I can run a mile faster than most of the skinny bitches in my class, because all they do is sit around, eat junk food, and never exercise. I, however, dance everyday, and have a semi-physically demanding job. Not to mention, I do all the work around the house. Anyway, I don't need to plead my case to anyone, because it's honestly none of your business. But, not all fat people are the same. We aren't all lazy pigs. Not gonna lie, portion control is a problem, even when it comes to veggies, white meat, and blah blah blah. It's not that I don't eat healthy, I've always loves grilled chicken, broccoli, carrots, potatos, corn, spinach, squash, salmon, etc. I just love too much of it. I'm a gymnast and I weigh a lot because I have muscles and I hate it when people say I'm fat because I have a perturbing spine so, just coz I weigh a lot doesn't mean I'm fat
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm overweight, but I'm healthy. My blood pressure is good, and so are my other vitals. I was in volleyball and track from 7th to 12th grade in school, and I was in weight and speed everyday. My mile time constantly went down throughout those six years, even though I didn't lose weight. I was getting stronger, but I wasn't getting thinner. Still my own fault though, I do understand that.
Yeah. Just because we're healthy, doesn't mean we don't have unhealthy habits that have gotten or kept us where we're at. I did field in high school.And we had to run with the track players. Best believe I was in the back, but I wasn't last. My problem is portion control. I used to come home and have a huge bowl of cereal almost everyday. And when we have dinner, I take more than 1 portion (because "1 portion" is the dumbest shit I ever heard). But, I don't snack, and I don't have that problem where people go to the fridge every 10 minutes until they settle on something. But, those are my problems, and my choices. And as much as I'd like to blame it on how I was raised, I still know better.

I mean, it's not really your fault? It's just a bad habit. Kinda like biting your nails, or popping your pimples. Except, it can hurt you in the future. I'm sure breaking our habits aren't that hard. I bite my nails for months at a time, and stop for months at a time. It's just our will and desire that we need to overcome. Not to mention, boost our metabolism, because that's why others can eat just as much as us, and not gain a pound. That's genetics though so, that's a little to blame. ^^

Ugh what a negative video of women just complaining about clothes that just aren't meant for them. Lara fit all the clothes but complained about the tiniest things. Also these clothes aren't one size fits all, they're just one size meaning that they're going to look different on different body types and that's okay! I'm short, a lot of clothes are not meant for petite people. If it's one size it's just going to be different for lots of people but I think it adds uniqueness.
