I was so relieved to see him happy here. There is a line in The Lucky Ones: “Don’t face your pain, we’ll do that later”. For Mitch “later” came during lockdown when, as he put it “There was nowhere to run”. He had a rough time of it but has gotten back on his feet. The video was his first time being funny since lockdown started.
@@michellebarry1555 He was going through a rough time. Later, in a conversation with his friend, Dylan Chambers, he talked about getting into therapy, which is a decision I applaud. During the after party for My Favorite Things he was very spacey. Some people saw that as a bad thing. I was encouraged because he was acting like people act when the dosages and types of their anti depressant medication isn't quite right yet. Shortly after that, he was more himself. The whole thing was so wrong. People would stand in line to hug him and he was going through all of this alone.
I LOVE this Pentatonix video. It's one of my very favorites. Thank you for reacting to it. I was so happy that they made several of these type videos during covid lockdown. They helped keep some of us sane during that period of time.

Definitely. What kind of confuses me that I saw an older video with Mitch and his then boyfriend where he mentioned he never got the diploma. They don’t send it to you if you have a reason why you can’t attend? Not that he needs it for anything altough it sometimes seems it bothers Mitch that he never got an education after high school.
@@sannalopperi-vihinen233 Maybe he was never given a physical diploma but, if he was going to go to graduation, he completed the required courses. But, yes, I agree with you. He has mentioned that feels that he is less bright than other people. I think it was in that livestream that he and Scott did with Mark sitting off screen adding a comment here and there. It was at the end of lockdown, maybe?

Mitch’s father says he is glad he let Mitch skip graduation because, if Mitch had gone to his high school graduation, life would now be so boring.
