Salam from Türkiye(Turkey)......Nizamuddin Aulia (R.A) was a Great Sufi Saint who lived about1000 Years ago....His Tomb is in New Delhi, India....These Saints called Sufis helped in the spread of Islam in India Sub-Continent....
❤ really proud of you Allah bless you for your post and lots of you for your like a good song and IAM glad you are feeling better and love my beautiful sister jola
Amjad sabri died after this performance you remind us again he's legend and my all time fav. He's the son of great sabri brothers. Allah bless him. Stay blessed stay safe
Hi Jola, as you read it, this kalam is about sufi saints. Sufism was and is quite popular in the sub continent region and there are many mazars (holy shrines) of these saints all across the sub-continent and on these mazar it is common to recite such kalams and the style is called Qawwali. Nusret Fateh Ali Khan (Rahat's uncle) & Sabri Brothers (Father & Uncle of Amjad) were the most famous qawali reciters in the history of Pakistan and they performed exactly this kalam many years ago, exactly in this style in a Holy Shrine in Karachi. Rahat & Amjad created this as the tribute to their respective elders. In classical sub continental music, there are many Gharanas (households) like Delhi Gharana, Patiala Gharana etc. and they all have their own styles, Nusrat Fateh Ali belonged to one gharana and Sabri Brothers to another so this kalam is a coming together of 2 different gharanas, paying respects to the sufi saints each in their own style which you can observe in the video that the styles shift when they pass off to each other. Unfortunately this was the last contribution of Amjad Sabri, as you may have read. He was a big promoter of peace & harmony which is not acceptable to few people. He didn't get a chance to see this but will live long in our hearts. Just some info for your knowledge & once again thumbs up for the reactions 😊
I absolutely appreciate the fact that you took your time to share all this with me! Thank you so much for that! From the videos I watch plus the comments I am able to learn so much, which I am thankful for. I think it speaks for itself when you have Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri in one performance! Truly outstanding.
@@jolaa Thank you for the reaction. The subject matter is the same as in Chaap Tilak: Amir Khusrow writing about how he has finally found his spiritual guide (Nizamuddin Awliya/Saint Nizamuddin). But whereas the tone of Chaap Tilak is very mellow in its descriptions of those initial feelings of love of a disciple for his master, here in Rang it is much more celebratory and akin to a wedding. You might enjoy listening to 'Gharoli/Ghoom Charakra' from Nescafé Basement. It will knock your socks off! :)
This is the level of Pakistani Music.. 😍🇵🇰 its called Sufi / Saint Music its very classical and put you in a trans its just out of the world if you listen them Live in person you would know what I am talking about..😊
And then you killed the spiritual singer Amjad Sabri, some time after this performance. Don't praise Pakistani music when you kill your Sufi musicians. Religious extremism is very bad.
@@rajivlather8918 It is not India nor Our country has such level of religious xteemism like India has. He was k..lled for Political reasons as he was also in politics. & people responsible for his death have already been executed.
It's actually not urdu, the beautiful part lies in the rendition of the music which is nor Pakistani or Indian. It's something we should cherish together. Thank you.
I always cry whenever I listen to this qawwwali. This could easily be my fav qawwali (devotional music of the sufi's). This qawwali video made by coke studio is super unqiue because this has two famous families singing together in the one video which is very rare to ever happen in qawwali. Two legends in one recording hehe :)
Danke dir. Really appreciate your reaction. Keep it up. Unfortunately Amjad Sabri was killed in a drive by shooting. Everytime I see this performance it makes me feel very broken because he was a legend who left too soon.
The best song yet in your channel. Very high level of skill is required to sing this. I personally can not have enough of this.Just gem of a performance. The guy playing the percussion instrument Tabla is also the star here.
After I filmed my reaction I did a bit of googling and had to find out about his death… makes this performance even more special due to this tragic event.
